I love the food. Philly and chicken philly are my favorite! Get a large amount of fries, which I don't hate one bit! The reasoning for my three stars would definitely be the customer service that you receive and accuracy of your order. When placing our order over the phone for pick up, the guy would barely let me finish my order without cutting me off. He gave me a total before I was even finished. I had to tell him: I'm not done. Then received a great deal of attitude. Which is extremely frustrating and makes you feel like you are wasting their time even though you are about to give them $25+ dollars for your meals. Drove 15 minutes into town to pick up our food, watched them put the sauces, fries, and sandwiches into the bag. Thinking our order was correct..... drove 15 minutes back home and one of our sandwiches was incorrect completely. Looked at the receipt and the man put in a sandwich I didn't even say. This is like the 5th time that this has happened... they forget something or your order is incorrect. We almost expect it at this point in ordering. Due to the drive time, and no delivery options for our area... we did not call to get it changed and just accepted it. They will not receive our money for awhile. Hoping something changes. read more

The first time I ate here (about 3.5 years ago) I loved it. But, since then, I have cut out meat and chicken. Eating here last night for the second time, I realized that this place isn't overly vegetarian friendly. They have salads, but at a place that specializes in hoagies and Philly Cheese Steaks, it seems that it would be easy to make a veggie sandwich. On the positive side, they have stellar cheese fries. I have been eating Mr.Spots since I was a kid. My parents used to drive from Findlay to BG every once in awhile just to eat here! I have never had any issues and their food is amazing. Decent food and good late night hours make this the 'spot' (hardeehar) to go to after a long night of clubbin. The food is decent quality, made quick, and delicious. Being just off the main drag in downtown BG, Spots is rather quiet during the day, but dining in on the wrong night brings out the wacky denizens of BG. The food is quite overpriced - 9 bucks for a single sandwhich, putting you around 15 bucks a head for a full meal (drink and fries). They do deliver late into the night, including delivering beer, a rather unique service, but sometimes is does take quite a while to get there. All in all, the food is good, but the price is heinous for what you are getting, but at 3 a.m., BG offers little choice for delivery. read more

A solid place where you know what you'll get." This is such an accurate description of this place that it is sad. I'd love to give this place a higher review because I enjoy the food, but there isn't anything about this place which stands out. we went to mr spots as per recommendation by the workers in The Cookie Jar (across the street) while we waited for our cookies to bake :) mr spots is a little deli that has sandwiches, hoagies, wings, and salads. they also sell like 30 packs of beer haha i asked the guy behind the counter what he suggested and he got really happy :) he recommened the Bustleton (roast beef, salami, turkey swiss, mustard, with mayo, lettuce, tomato, onnions, topped with imported olive oil, vinegar and oregano on a amoroso roll) it was really good! the bread was super soft and the mustard was amazing touch. we also ordered a "sack of fries" which were just some criss cut waffle fries. this is a really awesome deli and the workers were really cool and nice. read more

The best place for Cheesesteaks I've ever been to. The flavor is fantastic and the is the perfect mix of grease, meat, bread, & toppings. The Spotty meal deal is the best in B.G. In addition to the cheesesteak the wings are fantastic, large wings, that are actually cooked properly with enough crispness and them covered in a variety of great sauces, I loved the Rasta flavor in college. Plus one of the best things ever was that they deliver beer. Does it get any better than that. I would suggest if you are ever on I-75 and you see the sign for Bowling Green, pull over go into town and stop for a sub or some wings. You will not be disappointed. read more

I had this delivered, overall I had a decent experience. The chicken tenders were very good. The boneless wings were not too bad. I also had the turkey sandwhich on wheat with American cheese and no tomato. The sandwhich was amazing I would definitely recommend it. However, the fries we ordered were not very warm. However, they were good despite the temperature. The only other problem was their barbecue sauce. It seemed to be homemade and almost had a sout taste. read more

Mr. Spot's is sooooo good! We always go for the philly steak combo which includes an original philly steak sandwich (with mayo), a huge bag of waffle fries, and a pop. You can eat in their small eating area or have it delivered, which is what we usually do. They have a good selection of sandwiches and wings and my husband (a California transplant) was flabbergasted that they deliver beer! Love the steak sandwich with provolone! Delicious!! Great rolls! Fries are hit and miss, sometimes they're hit and fresh but the last few times I've had them they've been very crunchy. I've been going since they first opened in the late 1980s. I had my first Philly Cheesesteak and Buffalo wings here and they are still the best I've ever had. The steak sandwich is a delicious melding of meat and cheese with zingy pepper rings. Their hot wings have crispy skin and delicious sauce. When I actually had wings in Buffalo, I was a little disappointed they weren't as good as Mr. Spot's. The old location was getting a little dingy after all these years, but the new spot around the corner is beautiful. I frequently make the 40 minute drive to B.G. for my favorite wings and sandwiches. This place has HORRIBLE customer service. Me and my girlfriend went and ordered philly's with fries and they gave us cold HARD fries with the entire salt container dumped into the bag. They were to salty to eat and when I asked for a new order I was told No they don't give new orders or refunds, even if they mess up your food. The manager Bruce is an asshole and threatened me and my girlfriend. I would tell everybody looking for food to go to Wings over BG or Easy Street Cafe. As a long time Spots Customer and student in the area I was at first pleased with Mr. Spots and their food. That was quickly changed when for the first and only time I had to call and complain about their food quality, I was refused the bare minimum of customer quality and hung up on after I talked to the manager and told him the fries I paid an extra few bucks for were cold and stale. I was told, verbatim: "We do not guarantee the quality of our fries once they leave the store" and then he hung up before I could get a word in edge wise. That's completely classless. For the price of the fries being half of any entree on the menu, receiving cold fries in warm weather is just bad quality and to hang up on a civil customer is bad business. They've lost my business and I will tell my friends not to order from them if they can't be civil with long time customers.
