There was an $80 inspection fee before repair, and it didn't count toward the total repair cost. I did appreciate how quickly they handled everything and that they offered a ride home. When I picked up my vehicle, I had some questions about my bill. I politely asked about the labor charges because I was confused by how high they seemed. It showed $80 in labor to fill the vehicle with oil, even though it was already in the shop and had been drained after the repair. While my service advisor was reviewing it, another advisor helping someone else made an unsolicited snarky remark: "We have to charge labor--what, you want us to fill it with your used oil?" I had no issue paying for new oil; the labor charge just didn't make sense to me. My advisor found that it had been entered in error and removed most of that labor charge. There was no apology. I'd like to think the mistake would have been caught even if I hadn't said anything. As for the quality of the repair, it's hard to say for now--everything seems fine, and time will tell. I also later learned the repair should have a two-year warranty, which was never mentioned. Overall, I left feeling upset and irritated by the experience.

I was dealing with an issue on my 2014 Ford F-150 involving two "Not Ready" indicators related to the oxygen sensors during the State Emission Inspection. There are four oxygen sensors on the vehicle, and the manager advised that resolving the readiness issue could be challenging. They quoted $188 for the diagnostic and corrective work, which I approved. They kept the truck for several days and ultimately confirmed that the sensors themselves were functioning properly. They recommended that I drive the truck at least 100 miles and then return for a retest. I followed their guidance, brought it back in, and the vehicle passed the inspection without issue. The car drove in normally no issues while reversing or driving at all. They brought the car out to her at pick up so she could drive off without the NEED to reverse. She drove it back there immediately and they told her they didn't "have time" to look at it. I've driven her car many times this has never EVER happened. They took the car at my insisting and called me back 4 hours later claiming it was because my mom drove over something on the road. My mother is 71 years old and drives like ms daisy. She didn't go anywhere but home which is only 5 minutes away from this car shop. Did not run over ANYTHING. They charged her $675 to change her breaks, oil and air filter which in itself was outrageous. But the worst of it is tht they incompetently did something tht now has her car shaking (when put in reverse). What could someone run over tht could make their car shake violently ONLY when placed in reverse ? This has never happened before bringing it into this shop. When I came to the shop, her car hood was up for some reason. Then he lifted the car and tried explaining it in a way tht makes no sense showing me an OLD scratch underneath her car claiming it was the cause. I told them this scratch is old and has been there for YEARS, it is rusted and clearly nothing that was done recently. He disregarded all my points and suggestions to ensure the breaks were applied properly as if he knows I have no real choice but to accept whatever he said. As I'm walking away they start mumbling in Vietnamese and it's such a shame tht my mom brought her car here for her breaks to be changed.
