No matter what time of the day it is, they are so nice and they NEVER give you a hard time about asking questions because their menu is so huge and full of god like goodness in every bite. Every god damn time, and I have no idea how they do it. Sometimes I'll be saying an order at the talk box and the employee behind the mic doesn't even understand but they STILL GET IT RIGHT!!!! The food is average at best. The most recommended sandwich, a Philly Cheese Steak, is outright disappointing. I thought perhaps I just went on a bad day, or maybe there was someone new who didn't know how to cook them. I was pretty bummed to see that was not the case. It's always bad. The portions are good, nice and big. It's a quantity over quality thing I suppose. One Philly steak sub comes with fries, so it could easily be a meal shared by two. The only thing I can say had solid flavor were the garlic fries, although those were soggy and greasy. The meat was overdone, which made it hard to chew it and pass it down my throat. The cheese was lacking, it was a hefty dose of white mozzarella. The garlic bread actually worsened the experience. With it being soggy and dripping grease, it was not appetizing. Chili soup was okay. Not really memorable although I do remember it was a hefty combination of beans and meat, and portion was ok. As for the establishment I can't say much. The prices are good, two subs with their fries and one drink for 15$. Customer service isn't something you shouldn't expect here. Everyone always looks so busy they won't even acknowledge you. I understand they've got things to do but, they treat you to get in and out which I suppose is what some want on a lunch rush. However, my needy self craves a little bit more. I couldn't update my review because the place is still a crap hole. I don't know about you people, but I don't like crap floating through the air. in the my food look up at all those air vents they're filthy the booths are usually dirty the floor is usually slippery. The door is greasy when you grab it, they don't seem to care about cleanliness ambience they have non-services is moderate, but you take your life in your own hands, eating the food there used to be a good place at once when I was first built and I think that's the last time they clean it, but I guess that's all on what you like. Apparently the health department doesn't care one damn way or the other till somebody gets hurt sick or the place burns down because they don't clean anything don't clean the grease traps don't clear in the air cleaners thank you but no thanks steer clear. I go here after work because it is one of the few placez open. I recently went 3 nights out of 5. The first night I noticed that MOST of the staff handling food did not have their masks over their noses. In fact, a couple of the guys didn't even have their mouths covered. Good food at a respectable price! I love their gyro platter, cheese sticks, fried mushrooms and thier cheese sauce . Welll..... I use to love their cheese sauce ! I haven't been to Mr. Subs in months, mainly because their drive thru is a nightmare, depending on what time of day you go, it could get very stressful. The cheese sauce was horrible last night 6-27-21. It tasted like canned cheese from the grocery store and I found unidentified small objects in it . I'm hopping that won't be your permanent cheese, maybe you had to use a substitute for an unknown reason . I'll try again in a couple of weeks just to see if there's a difference.
