Apparently, there are those people who love the way it is now as according to recent reviews on their website but I miss the chance of actually going to events. I do not want to participate on virtual events online, I want to actually go to events. If I recall, there was another event planning service called Up & Out that has long gone but they had some major problems that led to apparently permanently closing the business from what I remember but cannot find any information about it anymore on the Internet.

Thinking myself super clever, I drove over there at 7pm. I'm an idiot. You need to park somewhere close at noon, & spend the day walking around, eating, & shopping. Otherwise, total traffic jam. Forget Uber, it's still a car, & you'll still be stuck in traffic. Best bet is MUNI, but even then you'll be walking a bit. If you want any chance of a seated viewing spot, again, arrive early, or prepare to stand in place & look up. Luckily, everyone has the same view. 2023 was magic, as the first time in a while Carl the Fog failed to appear. 90% of the people I met didn't have a clue how lucky they were this year because they didn't live here. I met folks from Fresno, Illinois, Columbia, Panama, Scotland, much etc. They were tourists who heard this was the place to be. And it was. Everyone I spoke to was happy they came here, not one complained about our San Francisco "Doom Spiral".

The San Francisco flight was a bit dizzying but great and the T-Rex dinosaur experience was fully computer-generated but still a lot of fun. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and features immersive details like tilting seats and wind effects from fans. It would be nice if they also added mists when you fly over the ocean. It's wasn't too expensive I believe it was $15 for adults and $13 for kids. Its something different to do if the weather is not great.

I did the flyer ride. It is about a seven or eight minute ride, It was a lot of fun. It's one of those where you sit in the seats, and then the floor drops out from under you, and it is like you are flying over the city. The wind blows in your face, and when you were going over the water, you feel just a little bit of a spray. I don't want to give anything away, but it does take you all over the city. It was really a lot of fun. The only reason I'm taking off a star, is because the flyer ride is a bit expensive. It's $14 per person, adult or child. That wasn't too bad for myself, but if you are more than two or three people, it can add up. Regardless, it was well worth the money for myself to do. I wouldn't come back to see the same movie, but if they changed it, I would ride it again.. This ride is also part of the "San Francisco city pass. I had fun.. Thanks!

We had actually purchased our tickets through another company and couldn't find much information about where we were supposed to go or what to do when we arrived. The Blue & Gold Fleet staff were incredibly helpful and worked with us to figure everything out and get us onto the boat at the last minute. That customer service really made a difference. Once we got on board, we headed straight to the top deck so we could get the best views. Definitely bring a jacket because it gets pretty breezy out on the water, even if it's warm on land! The cruise took us underneath the Golden Gate Bridge and all the way around Alcatraz, while giving us views of so many of San Francisco's iconic sights. It was such a great way to get introduced to the Bay and learn a little about the history of the area. The narration is done through an audio recording, and that was probably my biggest complaint. It was sometimes difficult to hear because there were so many people on the boat moving around, talking, and taking pictures. I found myself paying more attention to the views than the narration. But the views were absolutely worth it! I got some amazing photos, and being out on the water gave us a completely different perspective of San Francisco. For the price, I thought it was a great experience. It wasn't overly expensive, the staff was helpful, and it was such a fun and relaxing way to start our trip. If you're visiting San Francisco for the first time, I definitely recommend getting out on the Bay and seeing the city from the water!

A major pro tip is that while they tell you to arrive about 15 minutes early, you should definitely come 30 to 45 minutes early if you can because people start showing up early to snag all the great seating spots. Overall, the time on the boat was very comfortable, we got to see a lot of cool things, and they have some tour info that plays in the background. The only thing that saddened me was that there were no available trips to Alcatraz. I believe they only had one trip per day at 10am, and my group would have absolutely loved to go. I would probably look around to see if there are any other Alcatraz accessible boats next time, but if they added more time slots in the future, I would love to try them again. The boat also sells snacks to enjoy at a reasonable price and has restrooms you can use. Ultimately, I have no complaints other than the lack of Alcatraz trips.

Just hop on the T line and it gets you straight to the center. There are many restaurant surrounding the front of the Center. They do have strict bag rules when attending an event. NO cameras, NO water bottles (plastic or personal) there is a bag storage and check in at the back of the center and it costs $10 to check it in so be cautious of that. The food is your typical game food and snacks, easy to eat like a hot dog, fries and nachos, and of course it is pricy. Also the lower portals from 1-12 has good views. Sat in Portal 10 when I was watching the competition.

There are restrooms around every corner with multiple stalls, along with family & gender neutral restrooms. Seated inside, my vantage point was taken from the 200s section high up, where you can see all the screens but the court is further away. But with acoustics and views, it wasn't too bad and I was able to watch the game without any issues. Chase Center is beautiful and I can't wait to come back!

While hanging outside with the family, a parent shared with us there is a free museum around the corner that the kiddos fell in love with..the Musee Mecanique. It's so amazing. There's all sorts of unique mechanical amusements ~ from fortune telling, to claw machines, pin ball, to diorama style shows, old school movies, and more. There really is something for everyone here. The area is huge! If you are waiting for a reservation on the Pier, want to kill some time, or really just want an enjoyable and different experience with the family, this is it. So much laughter and joy here, as you could see the wonder and excitement from families alike. What I think is so cool about this place is understanding that most of the machines in there are how people kept themselves entertained before television, Broadway, movies, and mainstream. Hand-crafted puppetry and other entertainment! I can't speak to parking, although I do think there are lots that far down (that may come with a price, so do some homework ahead of time). There is a free, public bathroom kitty-corner to the museum. Worth the adventure!
