Made an appointment for 2pm to have all 4 tires replaced. Arrived at 1:30 and was informed at this point (not when the appointment was made and the tires were chosen) that the tires I wanted would need to be shipped to the store. So I went with a different set that was $200 more expensive. My truck was pulled into the bay at 2pm, the driver revved the motor once the truck was in the bay. I heard my truck start at 5pm, as soon as it was started it was revved. Truck was backed out of the bay and when put In drive he floored it and spun tires in front of the store. Not only did it take 3 HOURS to complete the service but they felt that it'd be ok to abuse my truck. I wouldn't recommend anyone take their vehicles to this place. ZERO STARS AND I DO MEAN ZERO I'm back again. Crazy how I had already written a review on how HORRIBLE this place is. But then I go to the Lube Center to get my oil changed (because I'm never coming here again) And surprise surprise, the idiots never put my oil cap back on the tank. I had been riding around for a couple of months with no cap. I was charged $13 for a new cap that cost like $4. But without it, a decent company would not even sell/give me an oil change. Mr. Tire is located in Bryan Road Maryland. I recently got a flat at 5:30 pm and they close at 6pm. I called them and the man who answered the phone said they could service me. I explained I was 5 minutes away. The man who answered said if I could get there in 5 minutes no problem. My experience with this store was completely "UNFAVORABLE"... Getting a $1,300 brake job didn't sit well with me, however, the store manager claimed that's what was required. So I allowed him to do the job.. In about one week I was back for squeaks...kinda blew it off as just one of those things. In less than one month I had my vehicle towed there due to NO brakes! $330 later I hear that the problem was a coincidence. Ridiculous! I needed my tire plugged, called and asked how much it would be. This man actually told me $30-$50. Me being stupid and desperate went there only for him to tell me that he can't do it that day, that I would need to leave the car for a few days!!!! For a plugged tire!!! The absolute worst location I've ever experienced since new management. The manager Joe (who is Caucasian) and another man named Joe (who is black and overweight, called a floater) are absolutely unprofessional, disrespectful and shouldn't be able to service human beings. They both used profanity towards customers, and have what I would call conduct disorder. If you work hard for you money, do NOT give it to this location! I will never forget the treatment I received and how I felt when I left the store. This rating would be a negative zero if I was able too. I miss the old guys John and Bill! Scott who still works there, I feel sorry for him that he has to endure this environment. Bill and John were the only reasons I went to this location. I'm in the process of contacting Better Business Bureau, because no one should ever have to experience customer service on this level. This is absolutely the worst auto service center that I've ever visited. I've been there prior today for tires and brake replacement and realized after the fact that I was probably overcharged by a substantial amount. Today the "know it all" manager, who knows absolutely nothing, told me today that a simple trailer wheel bearing replacement could not be done with my boat on the trailer. The manager made it seem like it was going to be such a difficult and time consuming job for his crew even if the boat was off the trailer. Because of all of the extra non-sense that continued to come out of his mouth, I left. After leaving Mr. Tire, I went right up the road to Bryans Road Tire and they were able to take care of my needs with no trouble WITH THE BOAT ON THE TRAILER!! Make sure you double check your tires when you ask for tire rotation. i asked for tire rotation and oil change. They did the oil change but they did not rotate my tires ..how do I know?? i put a black marker on my 2 front tires so I know if it was rotated or not. I spoke with Joe the manager who quoted a price of $53. and change stating that they would plug the tire and then balance. I told the salesperson that I thought it was expensive, WHILE PRAYING THE WHOLE TIME!!!. I sat in my vehicle waiting and proceeded to go on line and look at they're reviews. Experienced a blow out on my way home from work today. Stopped at my local Mr.Tire in Bryans Road to see if my tire could be patched. Larry, the assistant manager, took immediate care of me and my tire. The technician was able to patch the hole and my tire was mounted with no extra charge. Took my husbands 2018 Ford Fiesta there to put on some new tires. They insisted we needed an alignment so we agreed. After we left, the steering was pulling so we took it back. They realigned it again because they screwed up the first time. Then we left and the car was now pulling hard the other way. Took it back yet again and their head technician told us that the other guy who did it there was a moron and had done it incorrectly. After that the steering wheel was vibrating badly. We moved so we decided to take it somewhere else. The mechanic showed us the tires and said that there were no weights on either tire in the front and improper weights on the back. We called Mr. Tire and the guy just gave us excuses saying that the weights must have fallen off. I find it hard to believe that the two front tires would have their weights fall off when the back still had some. Save your money and never go to these con artists! read more

On August 11, my wife took our van to Mr. Tire at 7080 Matthews Rd, Bryans Road, MD 20616 to change the pads on the rear brakes, balance the tires and plug a slow leak in preparation for a road trip. At their insistence they also changed the rear rotors, which they claimed were thin at a total cost of over $400. On the second day of the trip, August 16, the van crunched to a halt; the rear right caliper had frozen, immobilizing the car and stranding my family on a stretch of back woods. After having the car towed and repaired, the mechanic said that he had also had to repair the rear left caliper, which would stick when the vehicle was in reverse. In addition, he found that all the nuts on the wheels were loose a full turn. The tires were also all underinflated, and the left rear tire was still leaking. Car rental, repairs and other costs another $400 -- $500 -- and we were fortunate at that, because our excellent mechanic there was also fast. Had the vehicle locked up on I-95 or another location, my family could have been killed, and having the vehicle beak down because of negligent work of the very shop I took it to to make it safe and road-worthy was extremely inconvenient and aggravating. I have informed the local shop where the work was done about this, and am now contacting you as a first step to determine how you will address this. Repeatedly tried to contact the headquarters and provide documentation, first by e-mail, then by fax. They claimed they never received the e-mail, and when I tried to call to confirm that they got the fax, their contact number 1800 876-6676 now says "it is no longer in service or is disconnected. They cost me about $1000 all told, and endangered my family's safety -- now they are unreachable to even discuss making it right. read more

I've been coming to Mr. Tire for years usually to get things done on my car. This time it was an oil change. The people that work there are very friendly but the problem is I made an appointment at 9. It's almost 11 and I have yet to retrieve my car. I'm sitting in the waiting area and I walk up to the front Desk, I can see that my car is in the air but no one is working on it. This is my only day off so instead of me resting I have to WAIT. Do NOT bring your vehicle here! I brought my car here for a simple oil change on August 14, 2015 and these people didn't know how to start the vehicle, didn't know how to reset the computer on the car after the oil change was complete and couldn't even fix the problem they caused to the vehicle through their ignorance. I was called numerous times while my vehicle was in their care. This was a red flag immediately and I almost said to leave the vehicle alone but being gracious and expecting the best, I was taught a lesson really quickly that day! I came to pick up my vehicle and every notification you could think of that day was flashing across my dash board. When they tried to reset the computer after the oil change, they reset the whole vehicle's system. I take very good care of my vehicles, and i was shocked to see these errors flickering aceoss my dash. I called the manager while sitting in their parking lot and Mr. Bill told me that I just needed to take my vehicle to Honda to get fixed after they messed the computer up! Please be advised I had a 2 YEAR OLD HONDA ACCORD! I've never been to a business that didn't know how to start a 2 year old push to start vehicle. I paid this place more for a synthetic oil change than I usually pay at the Honda Dealership. I had to call Honda to help me reset the oil system after the oil change (hopefully it was done appropriately). I was extremely disappointed because they tried to mis-diagnose my vehicle due to their lack of knowledge by trying to make me purchase a new battery. They gave me a bogus battery print out saying that my batter was poor, didn't meet industry standards and that is why my dash lights were going off. They said "all of the technology on the vehicle is draining the battery". You mean to honestly tell me that Honda wasn't smart enough to consider the battery power required to adequately supply the factory level technology installed in the vehicle? You've got to be kidding me LoL! I took my vehicle to the NAPA auto parts store around the corner to have the battery checked out and it was in good condition and up to industry standards! I will post the photos from both days. Shame on this place of business. The gentleman from NAPA said Mr. Tire employees and Manager Bill are famous for ripping people off and making them pay to replace parts on newer vehicles that aren't even due to be replaced. I may be a young woman, but I'm not a dumb woman and for someone to treat me as they did while not knowing my background was foolish on their part. Keep your money and take your vehicle to the honest gentleman Mr. Gary in Indian Head, MD! I'll take integrity over ignorance any day! They didn't even test drive the vehicle to fix the computer error they made because the system notifications went away after I drove the vehicle to my residence. The only notification remaining was the oil maintenance one which Honda helped me to clear via telephone. I'm very late sharing this information but I'd rather be late and help the next person than to let these expired reviews take presidency over what's happened currently.
