Came in for an oil change at 7:30 am. Still waiting for my car. It's after 10 am. Won't be coming here again.

I just want to give a very honest review of the gentlemen working at this location. I have always been treated with respect and kindness as well as great service to my vehicles!! Honest pricing and always letting you know beforehand what the cost will be. I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else!! I don't have family nearby and if my car needs a bit of time, they drive me home and pick me up later. Who does that today??? It is nice they are open Sundays, HOWEVER not all services are provided. I had an appointment for Sunday morning only to be told they can't service me because they don't have a inspector on Sundays. It would of been nice to gotten a call to let me know they can not inspect me that day before I drove down there I also wasn't offered a day to reschedule. They do not offer the basic package for tire replacements. Only the lifetime one. Also charged $200 more than what it said it would cost on their own website. When asked why it was so much more they could not give an answer all they said was "I'm not trying to JIP you." Lastly they broke a lug nut and did not claim responsibility for that. Don't even bother with this place it's sketchy and the employees walk around like they hate their jobs. read more

I was always told there are no honest mechanics out there to find . Until I stumbled onto this place in charleroi. The team here particular of manager Mark P. And Mike and etc. Define honest mechanic. I got a used car from a dealer and these guys did a free inspection of my car . But no fault of anyone's the engine light went off which is scary luckily it was just misfiring so it needed new spark plugs. I was very impressed when I was shown that the previous owner had electrical tape around an engine coil that needed to be repaired and...other mechanics might have just put the plug on and coil back and enjoyed the sales it would cost as the car began to have more major problems. Not this place they not only fixed coil and spark plugs properly and the coil they worked with us and the warreny to get my refunds on the repair .To me that is the definition of an honest mechanic.and company to get the job done professionally and cost effectively as well . read more

My wife had an appointment for PA State Safety Inspection, Emissions Inspection, Oil and Filter Service, Tire Rotation and Wiper Blades. They called and told me the front brakes need replaced and the front rotors are trash. I asked what the brakes measured and was told 3/32" which pass but are at minimum and they said the rotors are all rusted and pitted and do not pass. They also wanted to do a brake fluid flush (which is snake oil). I advised; I will take care of the brakes myself, as I felt that $400 was way out of line for a repair that I can do for $169.00 in parts from NAPA and about an hours worth of my time. The brake rotors have no rust on them and are slightly above minimal thickness to pass. I took my wife to pick up the vehicle and Dillon waited on her at the counter. He did not go over any of the charges with my wife and after paying $245.21 for the work that was done, she noticed there was a charge for $49.00 for Cleaning and Lubricating Caliper Slides along with an additional charge of $9.99 for shop supplies to do so, which we did not authorize the shop to do. I immediately went into the store and made Dillon aware of this and after he sat at the computer terminal, completely confused and shaking like a scared rabbit while trying to figure out what to do looked at me and stated, "I'm going to be completely honest, I'm new to all of this and was never taught how to do a credit card refund. I'll have my manager call you in the morning." I asked him how long he's been working the Service Counter and he replied, "About 3 weeks." I asked him how the store manager could leave him in charge when he has no idea how to remedy an overcharge. He stated, "I was here by myself last week and everything was fine." The following morning, Ian McNaughton called me and explained he was sorry for the oversight and if we came back to the store the same day before the end of the day, he would be able to refund the overcharge to our card. My wife took the vehicle back to the shop and he wasn't able to refund the money and gave her a phone number for Corporate and to speak to Customer Service. When she got home at 4:30PM, minutes after leaving the MR. TIRE store, I called and Dillon answered. I asked to speak to Ian. He stated; he's gone for the day. The brake rotors on the vehicle may need replaced, however, they meet the minimal requirements set forth by the Pennsylvania State Safety inspection code. I will be addressing this issue with their State Inspections Enforcement Officer. One additional thing, they never reset the Service Required Light in my wife's vehicle after performing the Oil and Filter Service. So, it makes me wonder if they even changed the oil and filter. I ended up having to reset the light myself. I would not recommend this repair facility to work on your vehicle. They are not only very unprofessional, they just want to push you out the door if you don't approve their "up-sell". I will be contacting their corporate office; the BBB and the PA State Police Inspections Officer regarding this entire incident. It's a damn shame that Valley Tire (who was bought out by this company) is not still in business there....we never had issues like this when they owned it!!! read more

First visit since they became Mr. tire. I'm having alignment issues with my brand new Chevy 2500. The technician named Mike educated me and showed me everything I needed to know to understand why things were happening the way they were. I could not be happier!!! The technicians were friendly and very willing to help me understand what was going on. That was the best part of the whole thing. read more

My name is Ken French in the past few months my wife and I have had various things done with both our vehicles. Oil changes, brake replacements, inspections, tire rotation, and advice on buying tires too. Ian and the rest of the guys there have been on point and above the line in every aspect that we have had to deal with. They have been fair and extremely credible with us and will continue to be the establishment we go to ! I would like to thank them for the work they do and the timely fashion they do it in. I went to get a tire repaired, first thing I entered the store a gentleman was standing their waiting to be waited on I stood their about 5 minutes and I asked the guy is their nobody here he said he hollered for them and seen them in the back but nobody came then 2 other people walked in I said this is ridiculous I went back to the garage an hollered does anyone work here you have alone out front. This guy said I'm coming he went to wait on the gentleman which had an appointment for his car the guy asked all his information again the gentleman said you should have this information if I have an appointment the guy said it doesn't save information. Then I got to the counter and explained I had a flat tire and I have the warranty I need it fixed I asked if they could put my spare back because it did duly to do he said yes. Well I get in my car drive across the street to get gas an realize my spare had been thrown in the back. I have an SUV so I went directly back and asked them to do it they did. I get back in and drive across the street the tire that they were supposed to fixe was going flat again so I went back over and I said enough is enough it's a freaking tire you can get it right, is said you didn't put air in it or it's still leaking he said I'm not lying we put air in it I said it's still leaking so he took it back an said it has another leak and they are not used to looking for more than one leakage. I've gone to the Charleroi, PA location twice now and both times I have been over charged. The first time I was charged for two alignments and this time I was charged over $100 for some kind of lifetime membership in addition to $20 per tire for some warranty, both of which I never asked for nor were ever even mentioned by any of the staff working. I was never given an estimate on the services I asked for so I didn't think anything of the $800+ bill initially, but when I got home I looked through my paperwork and found all of these extra charges. Went back the next day to request a refund and Josh the service manager said that he'd speak with Josh the store manager in the morning and give me a call, never heard from either of them & eventually called for them to tell me that they will not refund my money because I "agreed to the charges". Do not go here unless you enjoy paying for things you didn't ask for. Very disappointed. read more
