Don't go to Mr. Tire and Auto in Kings mountain My experience at Mr. Tire and Auto in Kings Mountain was a complete nightmare. We had just installed a brand-new front end on the car, and my dad brought it in for a routine alignment. After their service, the front end was completely messed up -- worse than before -- and now it needs to be fully replaced again. That's hundreds of dollars lost. To make matters worse, they didn't tell me or my dad until after the work was done that their alignment machine was malfunctioning. That should've been disclosed before touching the car -- not after causing even more damage. When I tried to mediate the situation, David told me to take the car to the Shelby location for help. But when I arrived there, Shelby refused to work on it because Kings Mountain had already serviced it. So I had to drive all the way back just to try to get a refund. At that point, David wasn't in the office and couldn't do anything until the next day -- and no one else was able or willing to help. This shop has poor communication, damaged my parents' vehicle, gave me the runaround, and took no responsibility for what happened. I would never recommend Mr. Tire in Kings Mountain. If you care about your car and your peace of mind, go somewhere else. read more

This place is racist but what you expect it's kings mountain...they quote different prices and change it once they see you are not white. We recieved three different quotes from the same person her name is megan...but the firt person we spoke to was male and quoted lower price. Once we got there they tried to charge us triple the amount. I'm so tired of hateful white people in North Carolina. read more

We showed up 2 hours before close, which isn't really that bad in my opinion. we needed 1 tire changed and it was clear from the start that the workers clearly didn't want to do their job. The girl at the front was, I guess the manager and she was coming up with a ton of excuses as to why she couldn't help us. That wasn't bad, but what made me tick is that the girl working in the back was cussing up a storm about literally having to do her job. The fact that they act like that in front of customers is immensely unprofessional. Decided not to have work done there. management really needs to step up the customer service teaching. read more

They found the nail that Parker's Amoco didn't want to. Got me right in and fixed my issue with no problem. Friendly service from friendly people. I'm not from the area but would suggest you at least not even consider Parker's Amoco and get the job done right at Mr. Tire. read more

I took my car up to Mr. Tire in Kings Mountain because my brakes were grinding. They quoted me $630.00 for brake pads and back rotors!! on The quote the pads were like $100, and the rotors like $60 and the labor was $130, so the REST of the $630 I can only assume was crooked warranties, or whatever. Needless to say I took my car to another shop and got all fixed up for less than $200. DO NOT GO HERE It's just a money racket!!! read more

Got my camry dropped off after a tow couldn't get it to start, after they told me it was the starter and and that it would be $300 they waited for me to walk to the closest auto parts store and buy it cheaper. They installed it, charged me labor, and I was on my way in no time! Very friendly staff! read more

In my 38 years going around the sun this is been the worst customer service experience that I have ever had. I scheduled an appointment ahead of time to get an oil change and tire rotation and balancing. I waited more than an hour and a half to get my car and they're very cold and very dirty waiting room (I don't think anybody has ever clean the bathroom). Alex was my service representative who was friendly but could not communicate appropriately. They did not do the tire rotation or the balancing because as they said on the phone after I left the shop "they did not feel that the tires were safe to touch". Not only was I not informed that they were not going to perform two out of the three services that I had requested but I waited almost 2 hours with an appointment to receive an oil change. Upon calling corporate customer service I soon found out that this level of customer service extends across the whole company. I was hung up on several times I was given different stories with each representative and I was treated poorly. I do not recommend having anything done by this company ever. I am waiting for test results to show the viscosity of the oil that they put into my engine because from the lack of service that I received I find it hard to believe that they know what they're doing and I need evidence. Should the oil come back to not be the viscosity that I ordered and shown on the receipt I will update the review. read more
