We received amazing service and care from Mr Tire Auto Service today. While traveling and hauling our camper, our air nozzle got ripped out of our tire when we were filling the tire with air at Sheetz. The local Toyota dealership wouldn't help us and Goodyear couldn't fit us in for hours. We had our two small children in our van and needed to make it to our destination before it got dark. We called Mr Tire Auto Service and they told us to come over with our spare on and they would see if they could fix our tire. In less than 15 minutes they had the nozzle replaced and we were on our way. We are really grateful for their quick service and willingness to help us! read more

When I telllll you Josh was amazing! I had a HORRIBLE experience from pep boys in Monroeville. I called Josh to let him know what was going on. I let him know I am picking up my car from pep boys because it has been sitting for 3 days. He told me as soon as you get it bring it on down. They pulled my car is promptly! (I was sitting at Pepboys for 5 hours with no communication) He was very honest about the issues. He wasn't able to fix the issues because of what needed to be done. But when I tell you I had the best experience! I feel he really cared about what was going on. It makes me sad he couldn't fix the issue but if I have any other problems I'm going here ! The way he talked to me and explained everything to me was wonderful. Best customer service ever. Josh had went to tell the mechanic to bring my car out I believe. There was another mechanic leaving. Terrible service and a complete lack of empathy for their customers. Brought in my vehicle for 4 new tires after receiving 2 flats on the passenger side. We selected a higher end tire and approved an alignment service for a total of $700 post tax. When we picked up the vehicle, there was still a tire related light (Traction Control was stuck in the engaged position) which we didn't realize until we left the shop. We immediately brought it back in and asked for this to be resolved, especially as it's very dangerous to drive with TC enabled when driving at high speeds and the shop knew we were planning on driving 300+ miles the next day back home to Virginia. THEY KNEW THE LIGHT WAS ON AND LET US DRIVE AWAY WITHOUT TELLING US. Despite our better judgment, we left it overnight to be looked at both that evening and again in the morning if it wasn't resolved. They kept the vehicle overnight, leaving it unlocked (????) and when we went to pick it up in the morning, they had no answers and said we could take it elsewhere.... we did, and had to pay an additional $100 for something that Mr. Tire had the due diligence to initially resolve. Also - they lied to our faces, saying the vehicle wasn't throwing any codes, which is hard to believe given the presence of an engine light. The lie was confirmed when we went to a more reputable shop. No customer service, no care for our safety or well-being, especially after our credit card was swiped. It was an unfortunate circumstance that led us to use Mr. Tire in the first place. In the future, I'll request to be towed to anywhere but a Mr. Tire. read more

Truly, never step foot in these doors. Bill and Ed here are pure evil. They lied to my friend and I numerous times. When our tire blew, we were towed here and have never been treated so poorly by other humans EVER. We were told that only one type of tire was available and they wanted $500 for two tires. My boyfriend called and asked the cost of the tires and he was told $250 so because we were two women, they DOUBLED the cost. When we informed them we knew we were being ripped off, they held the car hostage for almost 5 hours. We were told they were waiting on the tires to be delivered to them by their other location directly across the street. We went across the street to ask if we could transport the tires ourselves and were informed the tires had been delivered hours ago and Bill and Ed were making us wait because they felt like it. My friend and I were nearly late picking up our CHILDREN because of the evil power struggle going on at Mr. Tire. These people will con you and overcharge for labor. Almost 4 years ago I changed rotors of my car and they said it has lifetime warranty on it, now if I call them they say it's only on brake pads and I have pay for labor which is $200 (only front wheels). Where as I checked another place they are charging 160 all four wheels (just labor). Get to avoid this place. read more

Greed has replaced honesty. On an $800+ invoice I was charged $19.99 for an upgraded oil change not requested, $50.36 for tire road hazzard coverage not requested, and a $20.00 coupon was not applied to a service charge of $259.98. The "unspecified shop supply fee" of $14.99 is excessive. That "fee" covers rags and cleanup materials. Other costs are part of the store's overhead, not a "let's get a bit more money from the customer." Service was good. No issues. Pricing was reviewed at the store the next business day, and I was advised that the manager would call me the following day on how the refund would be handled. Hmmmmm, no phone call or chargeback to my credit card. Not saying much for customer service! read more

I don't get all the bad reviews. This Mr. Tire location has handled my tire installation and rotation needs on both my Lexus and Porsche for years and I have never had a issue other than that fact that at times the wait can be long even with an appointment. I usually buy my tires from TireRack.com and take them to this location to be installed. They always fit me in even when they are really busy. Now granted I have never let them do any mechanical work on my vehicles but, for installing, rotating and removing tires they are just fine. Currently having an issue here... Brought my car in about a month ago for a torn CV boot replacement and tires. They informed me that both front wheel bearings also needed replaced. They weren't making any noise but... Ok. $1000 later, I pick up my car and it's making a terrible squealing noise. I take it back, and Mike tells me "I think you need new wheel bearings." I just got them replaced... I come back again a few days later and the manager Otis is there. He and a tech find that a rubber part near the wheel became loose after wheel bearing replacement, clamp it down, no more noise, no charge. They were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, about a week later, I start getting the typical grinding wheel bearing noise in my freshly replaced bearing. I stop by again, Mike is there and tells me they are fine. I drive away discouraged in my extremely noisy car. I make an appointment to see Otis as he is much more helpful, and they can't seem to find anything wrong with my car. I dropped it off again this morning so they can take another look, but I informed them that if what they want to do is not covered in my parts and labor warranty, don't do it. In summary, the manager, Otis, is very friendly and helpful, and I'm sure my car is an exception, but I don't feel I should have to bring my car back 4 times after a $1000 job. Their customer service is fine (if you avoid Mike), but the quality of work is seriously lacking. My car seems worse off now than before I brought it in. read more

Bought a tire from them back in March that now has a leak, took it to have them look at it and fix it. Without even looking at the tire I'm told it's not covered by the warranty and am sent to the store across the street because he's the only one there at the time(if that's the case why are you even open) He refused to call them and see if they can look at it because his words were 'I don't want them thinking I'm just putting work on them'. So I leave and drive to the store right up the street and am told they can't do anything for me. Horrible experience. Cross threaded my lug nuts. Had to get a whole new hub assembly. Cost $500. They had put tires on previously. They said of course it was the dealer who was fixing brakes that did it and couldn't have been them. Would never go back or recommend. read more

I've used this Mr. Tire location in the past, with good results. Then, earlier this week, I had a very dangerous situation emerge with my wheel/tire. They were able to get the car scheduled for service immediately, and completed the work promptly. Because the repair was addressing a real safety concern, they were sure to ask a lot of questions of me to properly diagnose the issue, and provided a lot of information back to me when repairs were complete. They were prompt, courteous and best of all surprisingly affordable. I recommend Bill and crew highly for your tire needs. read more

I have been going to Mr. Tire for at least 15 years. They are super and I have never had a problem. They worked on my Toyota and now my mini cooper. I have had absolutely no problems and would recommend them to anyone, domestic or foreign cars. They have been fair and honest. I once took my mini to the dealer and then said i needed extensive work on my Sadie( mini's name). When I then went to Mr. Tire they said Sadie needed minor repairs. PLEASE take your car to them. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. They will be overcharged to a point, you can't even imagine. Not only that, the manager, Mike, he is an artist on overcharging. They give you also false information over the phone and when you agree, when you go to pay your bill, you find it 3 times worth. Do NOT do any services there. Instead of a simple job that is worth 90$, I ended up paying 600$. They make everything a 100 times worse, just do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY. They tell you have the facts too, and after you agree that they can start working on your car, Mike gives you a call back and say we found that and that, at this point you are stuck with them. And it is too late to get a second opinion. I can not believe this level of unprofessional and dishonesty exist. And when you ask a question, the manager is very rude, aggressive and tells you it is so obvious, I already said that over the phone. It is up to you to go or not, but if time goes back (and I wish It does), I would not even consider going into this robbing machine. Terrible place! Terrible Time! The guy at the desk during the day, Mike, is exceptionally rude. If you like being talked down to and told that your are dumb then by all means visit the place. He's great at that! Another thing this place is good for is overcharging and lying. I once paid for a BOGO offer on an oil change and he told me that he didn't have it in the system. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? Because I keep impeccable records, I was able to prove that I did. He is a liar and always trying to make money. Don't let the fact that the place looks busy fool you. I wouldn't even give this place one star. Took my car in for noisy breaks. They said I needed all 4 pads-they measured at 3/32, new back routers and a break line flush, all to the tune of $800. Got the job doubled checked at the dealership (which are suppose be know for ripping people off). They said my break measure at 7/32 and all that needed done was a clean and lubrication. Local Goodyear in Alpharetta, GA sold to Mr Tire recently. Beware of unspecified SHOP SUPPLY FEES in the fine print up to $39! I just gave them $550 worth of business buying new front struts & alignment only to find I was additionally charged a $39 shop supply fee...for what?? This is a deal breaker for me. Pure GREED & no one advises you of this at front desk prior to work or when giving you estimate. It's just added as a standard percentage of the work you've had done. Curiously then the more you spend, the more you'll pay for this shop supply fee as a percentage of the total. After over ten years service on three vehicles while the shop was Goodyear, I am outta here. I will return to complain to the mgr and begin looking for another auto service shop. Originally I thought I found the mechanics that were "keepers".....however that is not the case. I dropped my car off while I went to a Medical appt. The instructions I left were for an oil change and to either change my current all season tires to the snow tires I left in the car or to keep the all seasons on. And they said no problem the car will be done in an hour. So I get a call a few hours later that the car is going to cost $$$. When I questioned them they gave me a list of needs. And I said I could not afford those repairs now. And then I asked about the tires and they said you need to buy new snow tires and I asked the question about 5 ways - including would they recommend I keep the all seasons on?..... but also asking for their recommendation ( remember up to now I relied on their advice and trusted it) . Instead I arrive at the Shop and they give me a bill for $97 to have my tires changed out and said something to the effect " you are going to slip and slide as your snow tires are not good" and I said I told you to do what you would recommend - that is to keep the all season on if they are better. They did not answer - I paid the bill fuming - and when I started to walk out - they said oh you are not done- and I just said ' oh yes I am done' and I will not go back there again read more
