Took my sons car to Mr Tire shop at 3538 Orange Ave for state inspection. They had done the last 3 inspections on this car. It failed and the estimate was $12,142 for a car worth less than $6000. I'm a loyal customer who took all my vehicles there and have spent thousands of dollars over the last few years and feel completely betrayed by Mr Tire. They wrote up a control arm they replaced each of the last 2 years. They wanted over $7000 for 2 headlights. My son is a sophomore in college living off campus that no longer has a vehicle because of them. Avoid this place. read more

Set an appointment and it doesn't matter. They tell you 90 minute wait, it's at least double that. So if you have a day to burn, Mr Tire is for you. read more

Came in for tire change and front end alignment.  2 tires were only filled to 23 pounds of air, should have been 35.  Broke 2 TPMS sensors. Did NOT recalibrate sensors. Did NOT replace one valve stem cover. Put wrong milage on invoice (which would affect warranty of tires)  I have serious doubts now as to whether the alignment was done correctly.  WILL NEVER USE MR. I'd put negative stars if I could. I brought my car in for an oil change and a tune up. It was just normal maintenance. My car ran smoothly when I drove it there and dropped it off. I got a call the following day stating that it was ready for pick up. As I was leaving the shop I noticed that the car was shaking. I looked at the dash and saw the check engine light was on. I pulled into a parking space and went back in to let them know the light was on. The man behind the counter who I later found out is named David told me that it was on when I brought it in. When in actuality it was NOT on when I brought it in. Both Dan and David were very rude and argumentative. Dan, who is the store manager there actually tried to show me on a tablet where it showed that the light was on during check in. I already knew what he was showing me was a lie but it was further confirmed when I saw that Dan was the one listed as the person that inspected my car on the drop off date yet Dan told me himself that he wasn't at the shop the day it was dropped off.. I ended up having my car towed to another shop. The other shop found that a spark plug was the issue. They fixed it and my car ran like it did prior to Mr. Tire touching it. Odd that my car supposedly had the check engine light on when I dropped it off yet the issue was one of the spark plugs they just changed.. BEWARE THEY WILL CHANGE/ FALSELY WHATEVER THEY NEED TO IN THEIR SYSTEM TO COVER THEIR MISTAKES AND PUT THE BLAME ON YOU!! Before this situation I never thought to take a photo of my dash prior to dropping my car off but I will from now on and I will NEVER go to them again or recommend them. read more

I came to Mr. Tyler this morning after finding wire on one of my tires exposed I was exposed 1 hour before I was supposed to be on the road for a trip Mr. Tyler not only got me in-and-out in less than an hour an hour but got me in-and-out with a new tire mountain balanced for under a $100 thank you to everybody at Mr. Tire for being so Johnny-on-the-spot and very friendly I appreciated every bit of the customer service and attention that these men showed me Thank you for helping my family be able to have a safe trip today read more

My moms been having her car worked on here for years. This year, I was looking for a Mother's Day gift and had no clue what to get her. While talking with her on the phone she said she had to pick up her car here for serve... ding ding ding! I thought I would call and see if they'd let me pay her bill as a surprise. I live in California and figured this would be a major process but thought I'd try anyhow. I called and spoke with a nice guy who was instantly helpful and said it'd be no problem! With in a few minutes it was all done. Way easier than I thought it would have been! They are really nice and do a great job here according to my mom! :). If mom says it's good... it must be good! This location is NOT closed - I was there on 4/4/2019. The phone number is 540-344-5212. I hit a road hazard on the Blue Ridge Parkway on my rental car and had to be towed to Mr. Tire. Wes - the manager - knew I had been waiting for a tow for awhile as well as I was 60 minutes from his shop. He quickly got the car inspected and said the tire could not be repaired. In conversations with my rental car company - they would not pay for a new tire but wanted to tow me to their airport location to get another car. Since it would come out of my pocket Wes was going to sell me the cheapest tire he had for the car. In the end - I decided to have the rental car company tow me to their location for a replacement car. Wes - put the tire back on the car and had it ready when the 2nd tow truck arrived. He did not charge me for any of this service and definitely put the customer first. With service like this - I would recommend him for your tire needs! read more

Everyone at Monro was so nice and helpful, scheduling an appointment was super easy and they had my vehicle done within an hour. I was concerned with my brakes and they made sure to check them and test them for me. I would definitely refer people to this location and I will definitely use them again. Made a appointment online. When I showed up at the store the heavy set crew cut older guy at the desk argued with me that I made a appointment. Tells me it could take 9 hours to get it done if I left my vehicle without any vehicles in the parking lot. Honestly I wouldn't have mind rescheduling since I understand computer scheduling is not perfect but this guy was a100% jerk. read more
