Service requested was for an oven repair. He replaced the control panel, checked nothing else on the stove, like electric source or anything else on the stove. He then orders part and we paid him $441.00, comes back installs oven still not working. . The technician refused to leave or give us our original part parts back to try and get a refund for incorrect part he put in. He refuses to work with us. So we literally threw $441.00 away with this company,. Buyer beware as they do not know what their doing. All he does is argue, & rude . We hired Solomon back in October to repair our Viking range. He comes across as a very nice person. We paid him $400, he replaced two things. We went through thanks and Christmas with no oven. Then he said we needed a motherboard and something else. we gave him another $700. Every time I called he said the part was back Ordered . I finally called Viking directly. they said they had 711 of those parts in stock. after eight months I asked Soloman to just refund us the $700. he promised to send me a full refund. Came out to our home to fix the broiler on my oven. He took the entire back of the oven off and said he had to order the part and would return. Left the oven in a manner that I could not use it at all. Paid the $85 service call. When called about returning we heard different stories - hard to locate part, part is on it's way, he even said "I left you a message and when you didn't call I sent the part back" (not true), then he stopped taking the phone calls. *AVOID AT ALL COSTS* Soloman was referred to me by a friend. That's where anything that was good about this encounter ended. He made the house call to assess what was wrong with my appliance. He took $130.00 cash and said he'd order the part and that it would take about four days at most, to get it. A week and a half later, I called him to ask if he was still coming and, he said it was taking longer to get the part and it should be to him within a day or two. Another week went by with no communication until, he called me and said he'd come out the next morning. He arrived and started working on the dishwasher but, was having trouble because the electrical harness wasn't exactly the same as the original. He told me he got the new part from another local repair man in his club. Great! I don't care where you got it but, I was wondering why it took two and a half weeks to get what should be a simple part. But, no big deal. I was just happy to not have to wash dishes anymore after a long wait. He got everything hooked up and turned on the machine. The pump worked but, there was another part leaking because I didn't tighten it up after I pulled it apart during my examination of the unit before I hired him. He saw it was leaking and made a huge deal about the gasket being no good anymore and that's why it was leaking. I told him that I had pulled it apart and had failed to tighten it up. It's almost as if he just didn't want to listen to me and kept insisting that the part was bad and that I could order one a new one for $150. I explained to him again that I hadn't tightened it and, that if he would just pull it apart and check it, he would see that that gasket was indeed OK. But to no avail, he kept telling me it was definitely no good. Mind you, without ever pulling it apart. So, I took it upon myself to pull it apart and inspect the gasket myself for any tears or flat spots in it. There were none. I told him if he would just put it back together we could then fire up the machine again, and see whether it was leaking or not. He was visibly irritated but, he did what I asked him to do. And guess what? The gasket was just fine and there were no leaks. This seemed to anger him. He said he had another appointment to go to and that the wires he had taped with electrical tape (instead of soldered) should be okay and if not, to call him back and he'd fix it. (Ya, no thanks. Do the job right the first time and you won't have to come back, ever!) So, My machine works (for now) and I didn't let him hose me out of another $150.00 but, he did a poor job of putting it back together so, who knows how long it will last. Soloman is very condescending and verbally treated his helper poorly too. So, for the excess time it took to get parts, reschedule an appointment, deal with his bad attitude, him trying to sell me parts I didn't need and his poor workmanship in putting it back together, is what compels me to unfortunately, give him only one star. *AVOID AT ALL COSTS* read more

Unless you like paying for unfinished work, missed scheduled appointment times and being hung up on when you call to find out why they aren't there...DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. The service started out with no problems, I was able to schedule an appointment the next day. They came on Thursday - took a look - and said they would be back Saturday with the part to fix the refrigerator. As our Saturday morning appointment time came and went without anyone showing up, I called to find out what happened. I was told that "the part didn't come in...I hate when that happens". WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW, rather than waiting on a lovely Saturday for nothing. By Monday or Tuesday the part was in and they came over to fix the machine. HOWEVER, it was the wrong part. (Mind you, Solomon condescendingly indicated that he shouldn't have listed to me regarding what the problem was as I didn't know - UM - what did the $75 diagnostic fee go for???) So we waited till Friday and another part to come in. I was told the machine was reportedly "fixed" and I paid the bill. I was told there was a guarantee on the work. Two weeks later I saw that the machine was still leaking, so I called to schedule a follow up appointment. Solomon answered the phone, told me he would call me back in 10 minutes. I waited for 20 and called him back and it went right to voicemail. By the end of the next day and not receiving a returned call, I called him again. We arranged for a 10AM appointment. I again took the morning off of work to wait, by 10:20 and no one at my house I called to follow up again. Solomon said that he didn't remember making the appointment and he had nothing on the books. With frustration taking over, I indicated that we had spoken the day before and that it wasn't my problem that his records weren't correct. He said, "not your problem....okay...good bye" and hung up on me!! At this point, the $300 I spent for a refrigerator repair (still not fixed) and the time off work wasted - I'm going with a different company. It was an expensive lesson, but lesson learned! I would give no stars if possible. I called for a microwave repair. I told him what was wrong up front. I should have known that it was fishy he when he said they required the service call fee in cash because too many people bounce checks. Shady from the start. He had to postpone my appointment then showed up for less than 10 minutes to confirm for me it was exactly what I had said and they would need to order the part. I would also have to pay for the part up front. I didn't notice at first but the receipt he gave was only for the part, not the service fee because he's probably not counting it on his taxes. He said it was usually five days to get it in and would call the following week. I called three weeks later when I hadn't heard from him. He said the part was on back order and he would call when it was in. Three more weeks and I called him. Turns out they discontinued the part and he would have to order the whole door. I told him not to bother and to please just refund me for the part. Three more weeks, I call him again, where's my refund? They only do those one the first of the month and the bookkeeper will issue it then. Thus adding another couple of weeks to the saga. If I don't have my money by the fifth of the month I'm taking him to small claims court. He has not been responsive or followed up at all. This guy does not fix anything. He makes his money from the $85 diagnostic charge (cash or check ONLY). In my case, I called after being referred to him from LG (I'll be contacting them, too). He arrived at my home with another guy holding a large tool box. He listened for about 5 minutes to what I had already told him on the phone and watched my tv turn on/off once. He stated his diagnosis without using anything in the tool box. Stated, again, that it would be $85 (which would be deducted from any future services/parts) and that he would call me that afternoon with a price on the part my TV needed. I haven't heard a word back. Truthfully, as soon as he left, I knew I wouldn't hear back from him. THIS BUSINESS STOLE OUR MONEY!! I hope the owner reads this and takes me to court for slander as I'd LOVE to get this in front of a judge! Late in January 2020, our two-year old Kenmore fridge stopped cooling and I searched out a repair shop. The freezer however, was still working. After a Google search for repair shops, I came across the webpage for Mr. TV and Appliance in Tacoma/Gig Harbor. This was a local shop and we always try to give our business to the local little guy whenever possible to support the community. We have a spare fridge in the garage, so we weren't desperate for the repair. On 25/Jan/2020, the owner (I can't recall his name) came to the house and diagnosed the problem as the motherboard of the fridge's computer having gone bad. He gave a price for him to get the part and we paid in full--our bank record indicated he cashed our checks. About a week and a half went by and we hadn't heard anything so we tried to contact him. We finally got in touch with him and he indicated he was having difficulty obtaining the part and had to order it from overseas. I thought that as unusual as our fridge isn't an obscure brand which would leave one to believe parts would be readily available--but we trusted his expertise and integrity. An additional week and a half or so went by and we again hadn't heard anything, so we tried to contact him with much difficulty. We finally got him on the phone and he stated he had been ill with the flu. Although the additional delay was inconvenient, we were certainly sympathetic to him being ill. He again indicated he didn't have the part and I asked him to at least keep us updated. He stated he would do so. An additional week and a half or so went by with no word from Mr. TV and Appliance. We attempted multiple texts and I tried calling and e-mailing the address on his website with no response. I finally left a voicemail stating if he can't get the part to let us know and we'll find another repair shop and expect a refund. Days went by with no reply. We finally lost all patience and I left a voice mail and an e-mail informing him we were taking our business elsewhere and I expected a FULL refund and gave what I thought to be a reasonable time frame for a refund as 7-10 days. By the way...We called Sears in Tacoma and they diagnosed the problem as a ventilation fan having iced over--we defrosted the freezer, plugged in the fridge, and everything works just fine. The problem was NOT the motherboard. As this is written it is the final week of March 2020 and we've had NO reply or communication from Mr. TV and Appliance nor have we received a refund. Interestingly enough, the repair shop has the main address listed in Tacoma, although the address on his receipt indicates an address in Gig Harbor which is in a plaza where this shop does NOT have a presence. We've since filed a complaint with the State of Washington and the BBB and am waiting to hear back. DO NOT USE THIS REPAIR SHOP!! read more

I only gave this business one star because there were not a lower rating. My television needed repair. They sent a couple of guys to pick it up at a cost of $65.00. They had no idea it's problem. Four days later, they called and told me it was repaired and they would deliver it that day. That day came and went; no tv. The next day the same, no tv. Four days later, the tv was returned. Two weeks later, the tv was having a problem, again. Repeated calls went unanswered. When the repairman was contacted, he promise to return the call within the day,after he examine his records of the repair. He never did return my calls. It is a mystery to me how this guy remain in business given that customer service is such a poor state within his organization. They came to home to provide exam and solution; they could not. They took my unit to their shop were it was supposedly repaired; reason for problem never revealed or explained. The repairman never followed up on promises to contact. The experience left me with many questions about their professionalism and their abilities. I would no recommend this company to anyone. Use them at your own peril. You have been warned. read more

This busines was horrible and I would not recommend them. They are actually located in Puyallup. The charged a $70 fee to come out and look at the issue with our dishwasher but said that amount could be applied towards parts and labor. After I took a whole day off of work for the repair, they came to my house and after 10 minutes said "yes, it's broken. We'll order the part and call you when it comes in." So I called 2 days later after not hearing from them. They said the party would be in on Tuesday. I called on Tuesday (now one week later) and no returned call to my message I left. I called twice on wednesday and someone finally answered and said the part was in. He said they would be at my house on Friday at 10 am to install it. At 10:30 no one was at my house. I calle twice and finally someone answered only to ask if they could call me back in 5 minutes. 4 hours later they called back and and I told them I didn't want to do any further business with them. I bought a projection lamp from him for $150 a week ago. For the first 3 days or so it seemed to work great. Now it's saying the lamp is nearing end of life! Supposed to be a new lamp! I do not trust and will never use Mr. TV Appliance and Repair Services in Port Orchard, WA again. (Also goes by the name All Tech Services) Bad service got to the point of fraudulent business practices suspected! I originally found them online with a location at 1460 SE Sedgwick Rd, Port Orchard, WA. I also saw another listing with the same phone number but an address on Burwell St in Bremerton, WA. Their business card shows phone and address info for Tacoma and Puyallup locations, but no Port Orchard. 1st phone call and initial in-home service appointment went smoothly. No problems or actions that caused me any suspicion. The in-home technician was Tommy and he and his assistant were polite, knowledgeable and professional. "Solomon" is the one to beware of. Once it came to getting our repaired equipment back from him, it went downhill very fast. I lost a day of work due to him not showing up for the appointment he set with me. When I called, he argued that we did not have an appointment and eventually hung up on me. Husband got involved and he promised to come the next day instead, but was a no show again! Upon suggesting it was time to call police and report our appliance stolen, we were finally able to get our issue resolved with them (thanks once again to Tommy). This company is terriable. They came out, decided on the parts to be repaired, told me they would order and be in touch. I had to call them repeatedly to find out if the part was in. Very difficult to get in contact with. Solomon said he would send someone out, scheduled a time, they never showed. I called back, after they were a no show, Solomon said he would come out himself at 11:00 the next day. The next day at 10:55, five minutes before my appt. time he called to say he would not be there. Stated they had ordered the wrong part, mind you this is 6 weeks from first appt. he could not tell me when a new part would be in, said he would find out and call me back in 30 minutes. It's a month later and I'm still waiting on his call. Clearly I had another company come out, due to the incompetence of this company. Don't use this company. They are a waste of time and a joke.
