Found out we needed a new water heater and expansion tank. Called Mr Water Heater Saturday... they offered to come out that day... not emergency so scheduled for Monday. Initial quote was $1100 but final cost $1585 due to additional upgrades needed and explained. I am very happy and appears they did a great job. Both techs were super friendly and happy to answer any question. I recommend calling Mr Waterheater. Prod was 50 gallon gas State Commercial Grade

In fact, one time we called him about an issue and instead of trying to get us to pay him quite a bit for a service, he told us we would be better off purchasing a certain thing and doing the repair on our own. I really appreciated that because many businesses try to up sell you at every opportunity. I find his pricing to be very reasonable and his work is always quality. He is really responsive when you call for appointments and can usually fit you in fairly quickly. His work was efficient and he made sure that everything he brought in used and the area he worked in were spotless before he left. We have had zero issues with any of the work he has done for us. Months of a no flush toilet. When I balked at the high cost of the toilet installation (It's WAY out of range), Brett told me if I couldn't afford it, then that's when I should sell my blood plasma. A plumber telling a customer to sell her blood to afford his cheap nonworking toilet. Let that flush through your mind before you call Brett. Recently, after many months, I finally replaced it. A Gerber toilet. Strong. Flushes every time. Aren't toilets supposed to do that? It cost half of what Brett charged. A Gerber is more expensive than an American Standard. How is that possible? It's possible when a service provider cares about customers, is honest, and kind, and won't look for an opportunity to take advantage of someone who can least afford to be taken advantage of. $807 for a faulty toilet. And an abominable insulting plumber.

Needless to say, I was on Yelp finding someone else for a 2nd opinion. Jennifer at Metz called me and messaged me right away to view video footage and get something scheduled. I was able to call, text, and email her as often or as little as I needed to and ALWAYS received a response. The communication was exceptional from start to finish. Someone came out that same week to take a look and give out a timely estimate. This company does offer financing, although we did not use it. The quote was less than half of what the other company had quoted us. We got a straight forward diagnosis, with honest pricing, and reliable service. The team came out on the day they were scheduled at the time they were scheduled. They were able to complete our project in only 2 days. Extremely efficient, and walked my husband through what they were doing and put us at ease with what still needed to be done. The pictures and reviews from myself and everyone else speaks for themselves. While I hope to never need more restorative services on my property (LOL), if I ever did, I would 10,000% use Metz again. I will be recommending them to anyone I know who needs it. Absolutely amazing!

These pads sometimes leak underneath and recently when mopping I have noticed some leakage in the toilet area. Mopping with bleach was no longer cutting it and I started to realize that under the toilet was the problem. I needed to have a plumber come and take the toilet off so I could clean well underneath, put it back in place and obviously find a better solution for my dog going forward because this is just bad. I reached out to Drain Bros. via Yelp on the strength of their excellent reviews and proximity to me in Bethel Park. They had a same day opening which was amazing. I almost immediately heard back from someone via text to confirm I still needed help, followed up by a call to make the appointment. Technician Seth called when he was about 15 minutes from my house to let me know his location. He was hard-working and knowledgeable, had no qualms about the nature of the problem I was so horrified about, and when the toilet was off set about cleaning the tile himself, although I insisted it should be my job as it's my dog. He said when he replaces a toilet he always cleans well underneath no matter what to start from a clean footprint, so it was absolutely no problem. He also said my timing was good because the wax seal under my toilet had been giving out and needed to be replaced. He did very good work with attention to detail, pride in the job and respect, putting on shoe covers whenever he needed to come in or out of the house. Earlier during the initial phone call, I asked for an estimate for this job, was quoted $250 and that was exactly what I was charged. I found these guys to be very efficient, honest and upfront. I will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing needs and really appreciated the quick help today.

It's really hard to find high quality service, especially when it comes to home projects…read more I'm thrilled to say that Revelation Plumbing absolutely excelled in every metric that matters to me. This is truly 5-star service. We had an issue where the pilot on our hot water tank went out and would not ignite. Revelation assured me they could check out my situation within 12 hours, and they provide these really nice text messages to give you precise updates on ETA, allowing the customer to plan their day accordingly. When Mike from Revelation showed up, he spent a little bit of time checking out the issue, and then correctly diagnosed it as an assembly failure. At this point, he laid out my options: replace the part, replace the tank, upgrade the tank (go bigger or go tankless). Mike gave me all the time in the world to sort out what I wanted to do, even allowing me to do some researching on the internet. When I had some questions, he gave me very honest, objective, fact-based responses, and he didn't try to sway my decision one way or the other. I really appreciate how he allowed me to perform due diligence and take my time. Considering that we'll be in the home for a while, I decided to take the plunge into tankless (on account of a recommendation from a friend who did the same thing), and the Revelation crew was able to show up the very next morning. What I appreciate most about the crew was not only their timeliness, but their attention to detail, their conscientiousness, and their workmanship. Luke spent a fair amount of time scouting the area and carefully planning how he wanted to execute this project. He even made some recommendations to me that I hadn't considered while checking in on my own preferences as well. It was almost as if the team had been working in their own house. Once they got started, they took every step very carefully, making sure that they did it right rather than simply got it done and rushed it. The end result was fantastic, and I have zero regrets going tankless. In fact, the first thing I did today was run the dishwasher and the shower at the same time with zero problems. A lot of places try to use high pressure sales or opt for quick-fix solutions that are budget-friendly but ineffective in the long run. There's also a very real communication problem with many businesses, failing to be timely or transparent. Some even have this "your job is too small for me" attitude. I didn't get this vibe from working with Revelation at all. They're one of those companies that have a way of making you feel like you're their only client. I consider Revelation to be part of my go-to "A Team," and given the quality of their work, how they source only the best brands and parts, and how they communicate every step of the way, it's a no brainer to use them for all of my plumbing needs moving forward. I'm so happy we crossed paths.

An 8' piece of (very accessible) pipe would need to be replaced with estimate of $2500!!! I asked how they could justify that price - they said, "we're not as expensive as some companies." I said how much do you get an hour? $400/hour! AND $450 for 8' pipe. We said, no way!" Had job done with new pipe - and inspected by gas company - for $800. Buyer beware of these guys. They also offered to replace our "stack pipe" - drain pipe from upstairs fixtures - for $14K! Why? Because of a leak at the bottom of the stack in the basement. To be fair, though outrageously expensive, they have done decent work for us in the past.

Thinking it wouldn't be anything too crazy, I looked online for a company with good reviews and found Cheddar's. The online appointment booking was very convenient, and I was able to book an appointment for first thing Monday morning. Nick was communicative prior to the appointment and Joe arrived promptly at the appointment time. Cheddar's was able to diagnose that it was a much larger problem than a small basement leak, involving needing part of the original stack replaced. Nick patiently walked me through what he thought the issue was, recommended a company to come in to reveal access to the pipes and dry out the leak area. The whole process was a pretty big deal, especially since it's the first time I had to deal with something like this. Nick was so transparent, patient in explaining everything, committed to helping me fix everything quickly, communicated between multiple parties, and just was so empathetic to the problem and disruption it caused, that he even ended up talking me off the ledge multiple times. This was way above and beyond in regards to customer service. After everything was able to be accessed Nick, Joe and team efficiently worked, in one day, to update everything that needed done, walked me through everything they did at the end and demonstrated there were no leaks. I plan to use them on any plumbing issues in the future and will recommend them to my friends and family. They were truly great to work with. Thanks Cheddar's Plumbing!
