Just like how the other yelper has reviewed, their BBQ Pork aka Charsiu was really good. It literally melted in my mouth. Also, their portion was huge. I just went it yesterday and I ordered a small bowl it was almost $10 when I usually went it was about $6 I asked the lady nicely if the pricing have gone up which I understand pricing does go up she started to raise her voice at me and say no it has not gone up but it will and starting to throw in my sauces rudely in the bag mind you I am with my 3 year old child. So I called again yesterday and got an answer right away. I ordered two family meals, thinking that would feed nine of us. It did, and we had more than half of the food left over. Portions are generous. The family meal includes three choices of mains, and three of either white rice, fried rice, or chow mein. It also comes with dipping sauces, egg rolls, and fried wontons. We ordered the orange chicken, beef and broccoli, kung pao chicken, and the pork. All were delicious, and my kids loved the food. A few weeks back we ordered from a "real" Chinese restaurant with good reviews. Mr. Wok was a much better value, and we liked the food better. I already know my eyes are bigger than my stomach. Got home and from the taste. I'd say the flavors are better. The bbq pork was a big on the dry side. The rice and noodles were above average but nothing to be raving about. They honey chicken was my main they I chose and I will give it to them, it was crispy and tender on the inside vs how other places are soggy and just mush from eating. I very much enjoyed that. The ones who served us were friendly and quick to getting us loaded with what we asked for. They don't just give you a little of what you want, you get a lot. Plenty for the next day! This is by far the greatest Chinese restaurant in lake forest. You get a lot of food for a decent price. I got the three item meal and it was around 12 dollars but let me tell you , you get tons of food enough to feed an entire family with the single plate. (I know this because the staff told me after I confronted her, and she left) When we both got out of our cars to go in, She was quicker, So, I let her have the door. She immediately opened it up and just let it shut. In my face. I was like are you kidding me? I was right behind her. 1. She Never looked behind or even cared. 2 Never even held the door open for a customer. So I called her out How is it that we both make eye contact at the door, Yet you don't even care enough to hold the door? She didn't say a word. Except I didn't see you. A total lie because I let her go to the door first. She then Decided to speak Chinese to her staff and then walked out. Listen, if your going to live in America and have a business here, you need to have a sense of other people, have a sense of common courtesy and respect for your customers.
