Really enjoyable fast-Chinease food. It's premade and served like and over the counter buffet. The teriyaki chicken was delicious and the red pork (I don't remember the name) was also a stand out! Invisibly the orange chicken was good as it is nearly everywhere else. Biggest standout to me was how incredibly friendly the service was. Also the portions are GIGANTIC! The takeout box was absolutely filled to the brim, and with it being as affordable as it was, I would love to come back quite a few more times. read more

My go to place whenever potluck or hosting gatherings. I've called Saturday morning for a last minute gathering and first thing came to mind was to call them. They were able to accommodate 2 half trays within 3 hours! It may not be fine dining but it's def comfort food. We've used them about three times now catering portions. & also they're the most affordable for the amount they give you. The gentlemen there are also super nice as when I've ordered last time (6 trays) they even brought it to my car! read more

During this Covid crisis we don't have much variety in restaurants so I thought I'd give this place a try again . Went in on a Sunday 1 hour before closing . Entrees did not look appealing. Several entrees on display has so little food in the tray it was difficult to know what was being served. The selections were limited as compared to the operations pre Covid . Because the available food on display was so minimal, the wife was afraid to order thinking the food was "old" not fresh. Sorry owner/manager I wanted to support your business during this crisis but you have to do your share and produce food that at least appears to be abundant, fresh and edible. read more

It had FOUR very small pieces of actual meat. I know times are tough, but if you're in a restaurant business and you're running out of food, then shut it down instead of ripping off your customers. Gross. Got the honey shrimp and tangerine beef. When I opened the containers I couldn't tell what was what. Everything was heavily breaded and the shrimp was a teeny 1 inch shrimp, the size you'd use in a salad. The beef pieces also very small and heavily breaded. Way more breading than meat. I wasn't impressed with their fried rice. It was very bland (with no flavor) no eggs etc. The price for 1-item was a bit high over $8. The honey chicken wasn't too bad however, fried rice needs to change. Panda Express is a little cheaper, not by much and has better fried rice. Portion size is equal at both places. read more

The location is a revolving door for restaurants, so we thought we'd give them a try and with the service they provide we won't be going back. We weren't greeted by anyone for at least 5 minutes, then we were shown our table just to sit and wait, not knowing their process, we observed others getting up to get to place their order. Taking others lead we order to come back and still sit and wait for someone to come by, the customer service is unseen and for two of us a bill of $50 dollars, we can go to someplace nicer with better service! Best customer service EVER. My entire family was greeted with a hug from the owner. He made my day with his kindness and the joy that poured out of him. As for the food, my husband loved it. The fried rice was ok, but the chow mein was fabulous. The BBQ pork was really really good, very tender and moist. The teriyaki chicken was very good as well, it was extremely juicy and not over cooked at all, like most places. We absolutely LOVE Mr. Wok!! The owner of the restaurant always comes out from behind the counter to personally greet my husband, as if they've friends for years. Well this is the place for you. I am being nice with 2 stars here. There is not much love or care to the food prepared here. There is no competition in the area for this style of food. And ones that are around here are not any better. It's really sad. If a decent place were to open all of these would be out of business. Maybe there was a time that this place was decent, but it is gone. Sadly Panda Express is better and that is not saying much. I'm not a fan of them either. The orange chicken was the worst I I've ever had. It was the worst that could even be conceived of. It was right out of the pot too, they had just refilled it. Horrible. There were 3 small pieces that could be called something, I don't know what, but the rest of the plate were tiny pieces of the covering with no filling whatsoever. Disgusting, I threw it away. Or rather, I left it on the table as I left so perhaps they'd get embarrassed when they threw it away. I didn't make a mess or a scene, I just cleaned up my place but left that. They gave a lot of barbque pork . it was double the amt that I was expecting. I wish there is this place in Northern California sillicon valley. A ton of food include tax close to $12. But it was a lot of food compare to Viet, Japanese, Korean, Thai food. I have pho and i wasn't full in N. Calif, for 13.63 tax included and I tipped 15% coz I ate inside during lunch time when there was hardly anyone I was at Mr. Wok in Lake Forrest due to my college age duaghter's braces appt in Irvine.
