This was my go to for Chinese food when visiting my parents, but after going in there yesterday after a few months I dont plan to visit again. I ordered chow mein with orange chicken and first and foremost the lady who served my noodles wasn't wearing gloves, her fingernails (that could've been cut a bit) touched my noodles and she was trying to close the box up and then the same lady went to charge me! I am 100% sure she didn't wash her hands after wards because she went back to the line to see who needed to be served next. I got home and honestly was disgusted with my food, but I was really craving orange chicken so I ate that which was my worst mistake. My stomach started hurting and I was on and off the toilet for at least 2 hours! Please think of your customers and have your employees be more hygienic for the sake of your business. That is not cool, if you're going 5o serve food wear gloves and or keep your nails cut and tidy and don't go touching the cash register and go serving the next customer!! Wash your hands! read more

This has become my favorite fast food go to place for lunch. I usually picked up some soups for to go. Once in awhile, I would stay for lunch, the place is always super clean, and the staffs are always friendly, most importantly the foods taste great and very reasonable price. I've been happy with them with previous orders but this last time I swear my broccoli beef was almost all broccoli! I was offended, spending the kind of money I spent! Just came in and experienced the worst customer service ever. I've come here a few other times and the service other times has been good until today. The girl that was taking my order was super rude since the moment I walked in, girl I'm paying for my food it's not like I'm asking for free food. I told her I wanted two plates and wanted the same for both plates. Saw her putting nothing but Kung pao Chicken as both entrees and I had told her I wanted that and orange chicken for both plates. She god all mad when I corrected her. If she would have payed more attention to her customers instead of talking over me to her coworker about what days they're covering each other then I wouldn't have had to correct her which I told her very kindly and I was super patient with how she was treating me. As we get closer to the cash register she throws a tray across all mad and slams loud like showing off her anger to me. It was an overall bad experience today. We all have a long day at work or personal stuff but don't take it off on a customer who is being nothing but polite to you regardless of how your treating me or any other customer. If the food was twice as tasty its too expensive. I suppose if greasy tastless food is your thing then you can get it fast here. An employee thought nothing of blocking the ice machine to fill a bucket. Normally not a bad thing but he cut the line for the soda machine during a lunch rush. And no I was not in the line at the time I was just shocked at the rudeness. If you are forced to eat here due to some great misfortune I recommend the BBQ pork. Despite the woody texture the BBQ pork's flavor is the easiest to hide with soy sauce. I was not brave enough to taste the sriracha, it smelled like viniger and old socks. For example, many dishes have celery as the main ingredient. This place can feed a family of 5 with just two 3 item combo. I mean honestly, the last time I was there the to go plate and bowl were busting at the seams and they could barely close the lids. And I'm not talking about the chow meain and rice, they load up on the main courses also. Pretty awesome. Its also busy so the food turnover is high which is good for us because we get access to hot off the wok cuisine. The steam is always rising from the portions even when you take it home to eat. There is never less than two workes manning the line so the service quick. Food quality is high for a line food place. Flavors are distinguishable which is more than I can say for Panda Express or Pick up Stix. It is very good stuff they make here. My local Chinese food place got shut down and they'll be relocating sometime in June. Me and my husband we're eager to try somewhere new so we searched for local places. I was really excited to try this place out from all the reviews, but to our surprise the food wasn't all that great. Very plain. The spicy orange chicken everyone raves about on here was all bread and no chicken. Didn't have any "spice" to it at all either. We did however enjoy the spicy wings on the menu. We stopped going here a few years back because the orange chicken was dry and crunchy on more than one occasion. The magic wok on Ontario recently closed down so I thought I would give Mr You's another chance. Glad I did. Went there tonight and the orange chicken was awesome. Not dry, not crunchy. I have gone to this place for years. Some things have changed as of late. Like they shrunk their to go box down. Which is fine. They were dolling out 2 days worth of food for very little money. Never had a problem with there food. In fact, they will make it to order, if you choose. I wanted fresh Sweet and Sour Pork. And they made it. Chow Mein is Noodles. Not really Chow Mein. Their fried rice is pretty good. The staff is wonderful and efficient. It is what it is. Fast Food Chinese done to the liking of the American fast food palate. You want authentic? Since Golden Chopstix parking is so bad, I tried finding a new chinese fast food joint that would equal Golden Chopstix perfection....too bad I didn't find it here. I tried liking this place but the fried rice is always stale and the teriyaki has no flavor. Everything here just doesn't taste good especially the chow mein. The only good thing about this place is its superb customer service. The people who work there are always attentive and serve you with respect. He has hired a bunch of snotty high school girls who giggle and roll their eyes when they get an order wrong. I went in last week and when they got my order wrong, AGAIN, I brought it back in and asked them to make it right and the red headed little twit who works there gave me such an attitude.
