It's long overdue for an updated review. I love this spot for Chinese food. They pack up your bowl! You get a lot of food. Good bang for your buck. Service is always good. They work hard and serve up your food fast. I ordered the tofu and they make it fresh when I order it. They no longer have the sweet and sour tofu, but they can do orange tofu. They Orange tofu is great. I'm a huge fan of the thick noodles when it comes to the chow mein. So good! Ambiance was busy. It's always busy. You can place a to go order and pick it up. read more

Sometimes there is a line and a wait, but most times they move quick. I have been here a handful of times and their food is consistent, in temperature, taste and quantity. I get their teriyaki chicken (sauce on the side), spicy orange chicken, chow mein and steamed white rice/fried rice. It's called their 2 Entree plate. Enough food for two or if you are like me, eat some now, save some for the next day. I spend $10.28 each time I go. Pretty decent all around! We wanted Chinese after leaving Kaiser Riverside, and we thought soup would be good for the boy after his surgery. Conveniently located off Ontario Ave right off the 15 Fwy South. Your typical Chinese point point joint. I originally planned to just get noodles and chicken wings. However, all of the food looked really good and fresh. We opted for two 2 item combos consisting of spicy orange chicken and teriyaki for the hubby, and beef & broccoli and pineapple beef for myself. I also ordered a large a la cart of spicy chicken wings and a large egg flower soup. The soup was good, nice light broth with peas, carrots, egg, and tofu. I like that i was not overly salted. The yellow noodles were really good... I liked that a lot. Teriyaki chicken was good, as well as the spicy orange chicken. Beef & broccoli and pineapple beef were good too. I was a bit underwhelmed by the spicy wings. It was ok. Not horrible but not super amazing either, it was just ok. Idk if I would go back though... maybe I would if I was in the area. Small portions. They had about 1/4 of the beef and broccoli left, they barely gave me any. I even asked if they were coming out with more and the person said no to them see while still in line they came out with more. First time coming here with my boyfriend decided to give it a try since we were in the area. We were welcomed in by the employee & automatically the smell of the food hits you! We had sampled the Kung Poa & Spicy Orange Chicken BOTH tastes ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The Spicy Orange Chicken was not only spicy but it had a tad bit of a crunch‍ My boyfriend usually orders a combination fried rice & always asks for it to be spicy, 99.9% of the time it's NEVER been spicy....but this place UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT & did not disappoint! They definitely give you a good amount as if you were going to Mr. You Chinese Food ( Golden Chopstix is by far the best )! Not to mention the prices are reasonable! Some months ago, the food was fairly decent. Always order the Orange Chicken. The last 2 times I've been, the chicken tastes old/borderline. Too skimpy on the noodles and over pile on the fried rice which is a bit too dry every time. Have to wet the rice with a sauce to make it more palatable. Will say the employees are pleasant, but not too keen on substitutions or balancing out the portions of rice and noodles. read more

My fiancé and I have been to this place several times for our lazy Friday nights of not wanting to cook, and a few times were we were super hungry and didn't know where else to good. I always got the one entree combo with some cream cheese wonton. The beef and broccoli with chow mein was always my pick. I'm not really a rice eater, but my fiancé likes the rice here. The chow mein is pretty decent and honestly they give you a lot of food for under $10. You can't be picky with this place because it's consider pretty decent Chinese food unlike Panda Express where I'm always head bumping tell people that isn't authentic Chinese Food. This place is pretty close to be even though some people would still complain about it. I would rather eat this than Panda Express were you question if their stuff is even fresh after 5pm and do they microwave to reheat their plates there. The ladies here aren't always the friendliest (Why I knocked down a star) They don't seem to enjoy their job, but who does during these tough times and even who does enjoy working at places like this? I'm also sure we all get those days were we are like WHY AM I HERE? Lol. Im here for the food. I order a one combo and I can eat the leftovers the next day for lunch and stuff. They give you a really nice portion. Not even Panda Express will give you leftovers for a full meal the next day. Im a small person, so I don't eat that much. If your a big eater, I still think you'll have leftovers. My fiancé always has enough rice for the next day, and so does my chow mein. The cream cheese wonton are always an order I will get. They are delicious. I can't say much more about them. Give this place a try. It's decent. Don't expect luxury Chinese Food of course. That's homemade from an Asian Household, of course LOL! So I told my bf I was getting Chinese food which he absolutely hates. He asked what's the name of the place I said idk its off Ontario and they have good reviews. He said Golden Chopstix, I said ya. Him get the shrimp fried rice it's bomb. So I knew I was getting that but he wanted something on the side. I decided on a 1 item combo all chow mein. Then I'm let me get a second entree for $1 more. I got orange chicken and green bean chicken. The 2 plates were super heavy. Now I must admit while looking at the rice on display it doesn't look like much. It was brown and I thought it was burnt. I get home and try the rice and it was the most flavorful thing I've ever had. We didn't even need the extra meal because it was so much. We both ate it. I ate it again. I shared with a coworker and ate some more and guess what. After there were no more shrimp I froze that good rice because I couldn't waste it. I'll add shrimp later. The chow mein good but needs soy sauce. Def didn't have the flavor of the rice. The green bean chicken was spicy good flavor and def worth getting. The orange chicken, a solid 4. The food is always good and the price is not bad since they pile on the food which is really nice cause it's enough food for two people. I'm addicted to their cream cheese wontons. Their noodles are the best I've had from any fast food Chinese place. The food is always fresh and they are packed every time we go. The spicy green bean with chicken is bomb! The broccoli beef has big pieces of fresh broccoli. The bbq pork is too sweet and over cooked so it's usually hard to eat. I love coming to this place cause I usually get two meals from it. I would have given them 5 stars but I was really disappointed that they did not have hand sanitizer for their customers when they had one pen for everyone to use, didn't enforce customers to wear a mask, and no sign about limiting customers inside. They also wear gloves but touched everything like credit cards, pen, cash, and they do not sanitize after touching things. This is my favorite Chinese food spot even though parking can be a nightmare. Not their fault though. The ladies who work here are super duper nice - I love seeing them. They are the only Chinese spot I've been to that will have some entree (or even fried rice or chow mein) left in the container but ask if I'd like to wait for a fresh new one coming out soon. That's soooo appreciated! My only gripe which is the same gripe I have with every Chinese spot I've eaten at is the orange chicken. My family LOVES orange chicken but every time we get it, there are always tough, chewy pieces we can't eat. Sometimes half of the batch is inedible which feels like such a waste of money. I'll even go right when these places open hoping to catch the freshest batch possible and even that hasn't worked :( alas, I still need my Chinese food fix every now and then and this is my go-to spot. read more

My favorite is the chow mein that is rich with flavor. Any of the entries are decent. Best place to go if your hungry as they will load the food onto the plates not skimping at all! read more

Golden chopsticks is known for their orange chicken / fried rice and portion size. Honestly the chicken wasn't good, the rice was bland and overall was unhappy with the food for the first time in 15 years. I don't recommend this place. Highly recommend traveling to the next closest location in Eastvale that has the original recipe. The food served here is not what it was. The food was actually pretty good; the layout reminds me of Panda Express. I got the 3 choice combo: lo mein/fried rice, spicy orange chicken, terriyaki chicken & beef, and brocolli. The lo mein/fried rice was a little bland, nothing a little soy sauce couldn't fix. The spicy orange chicken was more sweet than actually spicy, but it still tasted pretty good. They have the usual Chinese food options, but the flavor and quality doesn't taste like it was made in bulk as an afterthought. The food was good.
