After initially panicking, and then making a halfhearted attempt to find a potential replacement cord at a local goodwill, I decided to visit a proper computer shop. Providence computers just happened to be the closest to my location and so I decided to try it out on proximity alone. That being said, I was glad I did. This is a really small Shop run by a very professional owner, who probably greeted me and proceed to figure out what cord I actually needed. He actually had several Hewlett Packer computer cords which was helpful because I didn't bring the laptop with me. We were able to successfully identify a cord that worked for me and $35 later I was out and on my way. While they don't have a large selection of Apple or Mac products They do have a wide range of options in the windows family so if you're in the need for a computer or for service, definitely check this location out.

What followed was a complete breakdown in professionalism and execution: - The technician marked the job "complete" without ever showing up - My tenants took off work and waited all day - The technician arrived nearly 8 hours late - Unprofessional behavior occurred in front of a child - The installation was done incorrectly, causing a water leak and property damage Despite requesting a different technician, the same subcontractor was sent again. The situation got worse when a replacement dishwasher was scheduled without my request. During that visit, the technician dropped the new unit and installed a damaged dishwasher with a loud, faulty motor. At that point, I had to hire my own contractor out-of-pocket to remove, return, and replace the unit properly. This cost me time, money, and unnecessary stress. The lack of oversight of subcontractors is a serious concern. If you purchase appliances from Best Buy, I strongly recommend confirming who will perform the installation. This experience fell far below expectations.

He had taken some time to even locate my laptop when we asked for it back. I should have been more aware when I came there, as the store is literally stuffed from front door to the back and ceiling with electronics, in disarray and barely any space to walk in there. I should have been told at drop off how backed up they were, that it would take a while to even get to my laptop from the start. Had I known that, I never would have left it there to begin with. They also refused to give my $40.00 deposit back. Im guessing they need it more than I do. I do not, recommend this business at all.
