    The horrible service

Horrible service old lady at the counter doesn't seem like she wants to work sitting down while waiting in line noticed you and still sits there you ask a question and points to the board as if I didn't ask her a question horrible service not recommend

So, besides the local panaderias, very few vendors create fresh cookie options in our area. Mrs. Field's has been in the cookie business a long time and the most accessible, since its in the Pacific View Mall. The store is located on the first floor by JC Penney and across from See's Candies. Most of the options are too sweet for me, but, I would pay them a visit EVERY time we went to the mall for one reason: enjoy my favorite cookie in the world - Milk chocolate Macadamia (seems like these nuts countered the sweetness). For some reason, this option has recently disappeared from the selection... WHY!?!?!? It's been a pleasure Mrs. Field. Thanks for kick starting my healthier lifestyle.

Mrs. Fields cookies did an amazing job on our son's birthday cookie cake! Thank you so much!

Mrs. Fields Cookies are always delicious. This last visit I requested a cookie cake. I asked if they could do a dinosaur decoration. Abir did an amazing job! We are very satisfied with our purchase and look forward to eating it!

Maybe I was at the mall and decided to treat myself to a triple chocolate chip cookie and a soft, double fudge brownie.

This week's box had coconut passionfruit lime, strawberry lemon meringue and banana cream. Truly cannot choose a favorite, these were three of the most beautiful, bursting with flavor slices of pie I have ever had. I don't even know if I liked pie before this order, but now it might be my favorite dessert!? These slices are high-end, decadent desserts that are well worth it. It's clear that Skylar is passionate about her pies and is so, so talented. Cannot wait to place my next order!

Skylar posted her pies for the week on Wednesday on her Instagram account, and I was able to purchase a pie slice box (3 different slices for $35) for pick up in Ventura on Sunday. This week's pies were strawberry cream, lemon with meringue, and coconut cream. They were all beautifully decorated and baked to perfection. The coconut cream was my favorite because it had a salty crust that paired well with the sweet coconut. But honestly, they were all so delicious! I will definitely be re-ordering more of these pie slices soon. They were worth every penny.

Went with the classic yaki (short for taiyaki which are the Japanese fish pastries they use) and it did not disappoint. Great vanilla ice cream. The yaki had more ice cream and chocolate syrup inside. And there were nuts and rolled wafers for the toppings. Delish. Service was fast even with a small line. They have multiple cashiers, which is helpful. There are also a couple of servers who bring out the orders, so it was just super efficient. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area. There are so many different flavor combos to try!

I came here for my favorite Pineapple Dole Whip soft serve, and it definitely hit the spot on a warm day. They offer several serving sizes, including Kids, Small, Regular, and a Waffle Cone, so there's an option whether you're looking for a light treat or something more indulgent. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and had such a relaxed, beach-town vibe that made the experience even more enjoyable. Grab your ice cream and take a stroll around Ventura Harbor Village while enjoying the ocean breeze--it's the perfect way to spend an afternoon. Parking is convenient, with plenty of spaces available. On weekends and holidays, parking is just $1 per hour, making it an easy stop while exploring the harbor.

I love their pastries, but the recent price increases do make them a luxury item. Kouign Amann are my fave, but any of their croissants are also great. I haven't really tried their drinks. Had a Hot chocolate at the Camarillo location, and they even had a little latte art in the milk foam. A beautiful space to enjoy, but pricey overall. Service is usually fine, not overly friendly but that is also due to being so busy that they need to move the lines quickly and efficiently. At Camarillo, the server was much more talkative and friendly because it wasn't crowded when I went.

Served with a warmed goat cheese crostini. No mention of melons it had a few slivers of strawberries. Overall taste not very good. Had my mom try it too she was unimpressed. She had the chicken salad. She said it was just chicken with mayo. The croissant was dry. The iced tea tasted like coffee unfortunately. The gentleman that delivered our food just plopped the plates down and walked away. No gluten free options only macaroons! First time at this location normally go to Camarillo and TO so I was expecting the same great food and service. There was a napkin on the ground directly under our table. The ledge by window was dirty! Just disappointing!

I usually buy ice cream from a truck, but today I felt like going to a store, so I visited. The store's interior is classic and reflects Mr. Softee's history. Looking at the old photographs displayed in the store, you can see that Mr. Softee has been loved by people for a long time. I usually order a simple vanilla soft-serve ice cream from the truck, but since I was at the store, I decided to try something different. I had a strawberry sundae, and my friend had a warm chocolate cookie sundae. Of course, both were delicious. The ice cream here is simple and reminds me of the ice cream I had as a child. They also sell original merchandise in the store, which was really fun. It's a fun place for both children and adults. There isn't much parking space in downtown Camarillo, but I was able to find street parking this time.

They seemed more interested in closing than helping customers, and the service reflected that. We ordered two twist cones with sprinkles, and each cone got a single spoonful of sprinkles. At the Camarillo location, the tops are always covered, so this felt cheap and intentional rather than an honest mistake. If serving customers 30 minutes before closing is a problem, the posted hours should reflect that. Between the unfriendly service and the noticeably skimpy portions, this location doesn't live up to the Mister Softee name. We won't be back!
