i have been a customer of Mrs. Morgan for many years. My son recently got married and we hired Bob to do the wedding. I cannot begin to tell you how absolutely fabulous the flowers were! My son and his partner were very specific as to what their vision was and Bob came through and then some. The ceremony flowers, cocktail hour ,centerpieces, sweetheart table arrangements were mind blowing! There may be bigger operations or ones relying on their name out there but i can tell you with certainty you'll not find anyone who gives the attention to detail like him. I ran into Bob a few days after the wedding and thanked him for providing a magical atmosphere for the happy couple. I then told him i'd have to pick a fight with my husband so i could get some flowers from the shop. He is a great guy and you will never regret employing his services. My husband Bronze Star with Valor had military funeral in NJ December 14, 2020. A military wreath was ordered for $350. It was the most skimpy , pathetic wreath there. Though I've purchased flowers successfully here in the past, I was shocked when I went in and asked for a small bouquet. One of the salespeople said simply "you'll have to come back another time" -- no apologies, no explanation. There was only one other customer in the store and they had plenty of flowers. My daughter ordered a green corsage on Monday and when I picked it up on Wednesday it was white. When I told her we ordered green her response was "we didn't have any green so we thought we would do white". I asked her why she would take an order for green if she could not do it and her response was "green is tricky, we didn't know what shade of green she wanted". Again I asked her why she didn't ask what type of green we wanted to which she had no response. She offered to add some green ribbon and still charged us full price... $41 for a corsage she screwed up!! I would never use this florist again or recommend it to anyone. If there were a half star, they would get it. Ordered flowers for a friend who lives there. I am usually getting my flowers in the city, so I was hesitant. The flowers were basically DOA, completely bloomed, and she said they died within 2 days. I ordered a dozen roses. They were supposed to send a new bouquet the next day... Nope, that didn't happen, then after several calls and requests to the owner to contact me, NOTHING from him. The poor lady who answers the phone felt terrible, but I do feel somebody should have taken ownership and just sent a new bouquet of GORGEOUS flowers. If I had a party or a wedding, I would not trust them to handle my job, based on shoddy product and lack-luster, non-existent customer service. Unbelievable. I placed an order online at 7:00 am for same day delivery to my sister in Bronxville Was to be the centerpiece for her Thanksgiving table. According to an email Mrs Morgans did not have the supplies to make the exact arrangement I had ordered, but Instead of calling me and asking about substitutions they cancelled the order; which I did not find out about until nearly 5:00 pm. I called but there was no answer and no answering machine to leave a message As an FYI I also placed an order with a florist upstate for another sister who also did not have the exact arrangement but they called me an I was able to authorize a substitution and all is well. I want to like this place so bad but it never lives up to my expectations... I want to support local but it's hard when my grocery store flowers last longer. I have no doubt that the stores event displays are probably beautiful. But anything that is bought on site is in full bloom and doesn't last long. Case in point? I was very disappointed with the delivery service. My order was to be delivered on a Saturday for a Birthday. They called to schedule a delivery at 12noon the day off and left a voicemail. The recipient called back at 5pm. There was no answer even though the website said they close at 5:30pm. There was no way to leave a voicemail. Nobody followed up to attempt delivery ever again. I had to call on Monday afternoon about it. They told me they close at 5pm during summer and that the site info was incorrect. Who knew?? The flowers arrived 2 days after the intended delivery. There was never an apology from the flower shop. Very disappointing and with a careless approach about fulfilling deliveries on time as best as possible. read more

I ordered a corsage and boutiniere and told them it was for a commitment ceremony (i.e. - something special). They charged $15 for the corsage and $10 for the boutiniere. My husband went and picked both up... they were literally 1 rose each with a tiny bit of ribbon. The corsage didn't even have the wrist band attached to it. It was exactly the same as the boutiniere and for $5 more. I was embarrassed to even give them to the recipients. Terrible. read more

They are lucky to be getting this 1 star thanks to the very helpful Bob who took my order. He was very warm and friendly and assured me that they would contact the recipient to deliver the arrangement for her birthday this past weekend. He took her cell phone as well as my cell phone information in case she could not be reached. I learned the next day that the flowers were never delivered but I had never received a phone call from the flower shop! It turns out my friend had gotten a voicemail message and when she called them back at 5:02pm they were closed. Mind you, their website says they close at 5:30. When she finally reached someone the next day, she was told they have summer hours. Someone needs to update their website and have better communication with their customers! My friend ended up getting her birthday flowers 2 days late. No one even apologized for the inconvenience. I will not be using them again...ever. read more
