The staff is super friendly. It is grab a table and order at the counter. They bring you your food and refill your coffee for you. There is water and cups at the counter for free water. I didn't even try the bakery items, I was so full, but, it all looked delicious! All of the food was really good. A little on the more pricey side, but worth it. There was so much on the plate. My only issue with the food was the toast was too lightly toasted and the coffee was a little bitter. But the brisket and other food was amazing! They do not have a kids menu but they will 1/2 orders of pancakes or a French toast order. The tables are small and the plates are huge. Came in for a lunch bc I have tried their food at the Farmers markers & despite working a mile away I never eat out for lunch. I got the gyro omelette & it was phenomenal!!! They even asked if I wanted another one bc it was a little well done but it was perfect!!! The bread you get is amazing & thick. I went with the omelette over the skillet but either would be great. On a whim we popped into Mrs. Rivers and I'm glad we did. The space is cozy, which is a nice way of saying it fills up quickly. It fills up though because the food and service are amazing. We started with a cinnamon roll. If you love the glaze you can't go wrong, there's a lot of it. The lavazza coffee they serve is great as well. The chorizo tacos were warm and inviting. Simple but flavorful, everything you could want. The chorizo Benedict was soft, gooey, and flavor packed. We will definitely go back and try more of the massive menu they have to offer. This breakfast spot was truly memorable. The meal itself felt like something that came out of a grandmother's kitchen. You can tell when the food is made with love and it truly was here. What really made this experience memorable was the chef (also owner) coming to every table to ask how the food tasted. I wish I had my photos from this place, but it's my husband and is go to place. They have a wide variety of food - breakfast brunch and lunch - I typically get my one of three things: western skillet, ham sandwich, or BLT! The western is my favorite because it comes with hasbrowns and fruit and it's all sooo good. You can tell this place is fresh. They also have the best bakery items too. Service is amazing - you pay right away and have someone bring your meal. The only downside is parking - it's a tough location with parking and I wish it was a bigger establishment. They started as a food truck and now they're in a side strip mall. One day I hope they can grow and get a bigger better space. But they make it great for what they have. Stopped for a late breakfast. This is a smallish restaurant with very friendly staff. The menu is fairly extensive so I think there is something for everyone. The serving portion was good sized; I ended up taking half my meal home for later. It is a somewhat of a hidden gem in this area, while on a major street, the busy traffic can make you miss it. The greeting staff were very friendly and helpful, which is a huge plus in a day when good customer service is hard to find. My husband had the beef brisket and homemade chips. He was very pleased with his pick, enjoying the pickle as well. I had the two meat dishes (pulled pork and beef brisket) both excellent! My side dishes were the corn casserole (Thanksgiving quality) and coleslaw which was fair. We were given a free cookie with our meal order - a nice personal touch. A couple weeks ago we had your delicious pies by the slice at Wells Brothers in Racine. We loved them so much that I messaged the restaurant through the website asking if I could order different pies (not pecan or pumpkin) to add to our Thanksgiving meal. The reply was it could be done and to call to place an order anytime. I called today 11/21. The employee was short and to the point. You had to receive an email from them with a form and then use the form to order your pies for Thanksgiving and the cut off date was Nov 16. I explained that I was not a local and new to their business and not part of an email alert chain or any kind. She simply replied, there is no way to get any pies. I guess they make so much money at this restaurant that adding 3 new families to their client/customer list isn't needed. Quite sad, we were excited to try this restaurant too-now, not so sure we will. read more

My wife had an omelet with melted swiss and fresh spinach and she loved it. The quality of the ingredients and the passion and love in preparation shines. I've been going to this place for a while now for lunch. Everything that I've had on the menu has exceeded my expectations. This Small little Cafe in Sturtevant is a must stop. I eat here often. I called at the last minute for some Smoked Brisket that we needed for our Daughters Graduation party. Even though it was last minute they assured me that it was not a problem and that they can handle it. I can't believe how comfortable they made us feel with the many emails my we sent with all the questions we had. The Brisket was the talk of the party (Food Wise).
