We stopped by this morning for breakfast before hitting the road. We were met at the front door by a staffer holding the inner door open for my son that uses a walker and is sometimes a bit tough to navigate. We were immediately seated and Amanda came and took our drink orders. The selections on the menu were incredibly numerous. We both opted for simple though. This cafe is is a well run establishment. The food was great/ The presentation of the oatmeal was indicative of a cook that cares about presentation [even of oatmeal] They took the time to place the berries and other fruits symmetrically so there was visual appeal to the dish. Well done. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dining room was 2/3 full when we arrived and it was still very clean. Even the restroom was apparently monitored closely as it was spic n span when I visited it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only negative to the restaurant is the physical barrier of the 6 or 8 inch riser that the booths are stepped up on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Really a great cafe for this community. read more

Huge portions and great food! I had the biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were soft and the gravy was very flavorful. Mozzarella sticks were very cheesy and were hot and fresh, but would have liked it a little crispier. Overall a great breakfast spot!! read more

We were seated immediately. Our waitress, Marilyn, described all the favorites of the menu. There were so many items to choose from. It was our first time there. She stated that we arrived at the perfect time (12:30) because earlier the line was out of the door. Marilyn was friendly and informative. She checked on us several times and got us what we needed. All of the staff was working hard. The only semi issue is parking but I believe street parking is available. A really nice bonus was the different syrups were WARMED. Food was enjoyable. This is a new restaurant in an older building that also contains a Subway and a gas station. Kind of a mini strip mall. I had stuffed french toast with homemade cream cheese in between two slices of Texas French Toast with a strawberry sauce and fresh strawberries on top. There were slices of banana in with the cream cheese. It was really good. Also had 2 eggs over medium. Nothing to report there. Fries were coated which im not a big fan of coated fries. Give me plain uncoated fries, preferably crinkle cut. Coating them just makes them less healthy not that fries are healthy. Not a real big place. Service was very good. read more

Our server was amazing and overall the food was good but we did have an issue with one of our meals. The steak was overcooked and we asked to order something else. The owner came out to speak to us about it, we were told "there's nothing wrong with your steak, it's cooked how you ordered it, there's nothing I can do, you have to pay for it." We didn't feel it was fair to pay for an overcooked steak but the owner basically dismissed us, said nothing was wrong with it and offered us boxes. We didn't even eat yet??? There were so many other routes/options she could've given us to make up for this experience but she chose to be rude and have poor customer service. I just felt very uncomfortable, I came here to have a good breakfast because I seen the reviews were good and was excited to try a new place out but the fact that her response was argumentative made this experience terrible. The waitress then asked us what happened to which we told her, she looked at the steak, cut into it and agreed that it was not made right, she would be upset too and went to talk to the owner again. We asked if she could have the owner bring the bill and when she came I asked if they could just take the steak off and we could pay for the rest of the meal and she said the most she could do was take a couple dollars off. My spouse didn't agree and said he wasn't going to pay for it. She said "if you're not paying for it, I'm calling the cops." It never had to get this far and she had plenty opportunities to make this experience right. She could've offered something else. He didn't even eat the meal, he took a couple bites of the steak and left hungry. When I was at the cashiers stand to pay, I set my wallet down and the owner picked it up and moved it. I thought that was very disrespectful and weird. She could've simply asked me to move it but the energy I got already made me uncomfortable so I just brushed it off. I told her "I just had a baby, I'm a stay at home mom, I came out to have a good breakfast because your reviews were great but the way you just treated us was rude and disrespectful" to which she replied "I didn't ask for your opinion." Very weird to me how careless and disrespectful someone could be to their customers, when customers are the ones that got you where you are. I've never had such poor customer service anywhere. I also find is verrry funny and weird that all her negative reviews on Google has a response back from her "funny, I haven't seen you here" even if the profile has no photo. Sad that a woman her age cannot take accountability and has to get on the internet to lie about the poor service she gives. read more

Our waiter, I believe her name was Serena was great and had great customer service. The food was good as well. We got plenty of refills for our coffees. The restaurant is kinda small but they were able to accommodate our party of 6. I gave the rating I did because they mixed up my brothers and my order for our omelettes and when we brought it to their attention the manager would not make another omelet for him. The manager mentioned about how much it would cost them to remake it. Not to mention the manager had an attitude on her face after she came back with my brother's credit card saying it was declined. After he payed in cash she brought back his change with no smile or apology about the mix up. I have NEVER been to a restaurant that refused to correct their mistake on a food order! So my brother didn't get to finish his food since they wouldn't make him a new omelette. Horrible customer service!! They just lost business from 6 people! read more
