First off know in advance this place is primarily a BAR... With bar food. I say again it's a BAR which has a few tables to eat at - a pool table - and well, a really big BAR. The food was - food. Not "Amazing", not the "Best in the world", but it was food. Marginal food says it best quoting my wife who had an unremarkable bacon cheeseburger. While we will likely never come here to eat dinner again - or even lunch... If you are looking for a BAR that serves alcohol and bar food then you have found exactly that. Crust on the shrimp was very soft yet crunchy, the texture was immaculate and I enjoyed every second of the first nibble, the shrimp was delicate and not chewy At all, it was cooked to the perfect temperature & time, however the shrimp itself could use some more seasoning. The fried shrimp as a whole was very tasty and very enjoyable & they give quality size shrimp & portions where huge. This little lunch place has become my go to for takeout. There are only 2 restaurants close to my home and Ms D's was a no brainer to give a try. It offers a nice selection of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, wings, meals, pizza, salads, etc. Everything that I have eaten has been tasty. Their deluxe pizza is loaded with cheese and features pepperoni and banana peppers. It is absolutely delicious. My other favorite is their cheeseburger with a generous ground beef patty and all of the trimmings. The ladies that work there are friendly and helpful. I recommend this restaurant and I personally will continue to patronize it. read more

Ms. D's Restaurant and Lounge was formerly known as the Rebel Lounge... and not in the Hotty Toddy sense. The place has a straight up biker bar vibe to it. That's alright by me. Believe it or not, I've spent a lot of time on the back of steel horses (and real horses too). The place looks bright and cafe-ish from the street, but as soon as you walk in the door, you see a large bar with really sweet liquor taps, and a lot of dark paneling. There's a "room" over to the side with a half wall, presumably to divide the family dining area from the bar. The bathroom doors have cool old decals that appear to be from the 60's or 70's era, and between the bathroom doors there are three photographs of a lady (possibly the former owner?) with Willie Nelson. There's also a nice flat screen tv sitting on the bar with college football playing. It's obvious that the new owner, who is the son of the former owner, is trying to make the place more of a restaurant as there's a little bit of table decor and menus on the tables. The place is remarkably clean. I was amazed at the lack of dust and dirt considering the age of the business. The bartender promptly greeted us when we walked in and told us to sit wherever we'd like. We chose a table near the bar and the tv. She took good care of us from the minute we walked in until we left, even making helpful suggestions when we asked about the menu. We opted to start with crab stuffed jalapeños, which were likely frozen and not from scratch, but very good nonetheless. My son ordered a burger that looked absolutely delicious. He enjoyed it. I ordered a BLT and I would totally have it again. It was served on a thick toast and loaded with crispy bacon and just the right amount of lettuce and tomato. I'm craving it again already. The hubs ordered a pizza, and my son and I had a slice too. The pizza had plenty of fresh toppings, but we weren't crazy about the crust. Still it was decent and it was definitely homemade. Good food, great service, and the place isn't loud or crowded, which makes it our kind of place. I can see us going back for a bite to eat and drinks, for sure. read more

I have only had one lunch here, but graced the doors dozens of times as the Rebel Longe. It is airier and lighter than those long ago days. The bar remains the same though. Absent is the cigarette and Icky air smell. Now iced tea is on the menu - but I think beer is as well. Our waitress was new st the time and we fumbled with the menu but got the special hamburgers with fries. It was - hamburger with fries. The visit was a visit down a road in history. Went in on our one hour lunch break and ordered a shrimp poboy, a fish poboy, an order of mozzarella sticks , a tea and a coke. We waited an hour to get our food. The lady finally told us it was taking so long because they had to thaw the fish before cooking it. Was charged 45.00 which I'm pretty sure was about 8.00 more than it should have been. Wasn't given a receipt. The food was decent but we were late for work. We won't be returning due to wait times and overcharging. read more

Never go here. Worst dining experience in many years. The place was not overpacked. The food took 1-1/2 hours to come out. They served half the table after an hour of waiting (a bologna sandwich and chicken fried steak). The rest took another half-hour (chicken wings and a chicken wrap). The waitresses ignored all the customers in the meantime. The manager came out and was belligerent. She blamed the chicken for the time it took to cook the wings (1-1/2 hours to cook wings). If you want to eat I'd stay away. Decided to try it for lunch today. Ordered hamburger steak w fries and a salad. I got my salad pretty quick then noticed the group of 4 that came in after me got their burgers another 10 to 15 min go by then the next two table s of two get their food. I ask about mine and she says I just left the kitchen and didn't see your ticket. So 40 min after I arrive I have to leave with nothing but a salad.
