When my air conditioning unit went on the blink last night, I called MSP. Their Yelp reviews were glowing, and rightfully so. This company is professional and honest. I called at like 6pm, and they said that they could have someone here in a couple hours. Tomorrow would be fine I told them ( I didn't want to be disturbed during the Dodger game. Turns out the bums lost to the Giants ). I was told that someone would be here between 11am and 1pm the next day. At 11:09, Russell and Alex were on my doorstep. They followed all the Covid protocols, even though I told them it wasn't necessary. They went right to work. The guys immediately found the problem, explained to me what was wrong, and gave me an estimate. By noon I was basking in cool air blowing through my vents. I happily made payment and thanked them for a job well done. But it was more of a thank you for being honest. These guys could have told me anything, including that I'd need a new unit. What do I know. Certainly NOT air conditioning units. Instead they did their job quickly and efficient. I trust MSP, and so can you. A few days days before Christmas our ac/heating unit on our roof went out. I scheduled about 5 companies to come out for estimates. A couple had already came by. MSP Brett and Edgar were the last ones for that day it was getting late. This company was the only one that did a thorough inspection. None of the others went in my attic or took pics to show us exactly what's wrong or other things that can come up later. We sat down with Brett ran numbers. After back and forth and research on this company and reviews . We canceled the other companies estimates and went with MSP. The next day a crew came in to disconnect and prep. The following day everything was up and running. And Christmas Eve we didn't freeze our tails off lol. A week later we had an issue, we called the 24/7 number and within a hour they sent Brandon out to solve the issue. But as soon as he left the issue came right back. He troubleshooted and he found it was our new nest , old wiring. He fixed it and waited about 30min ( hung out chopped it up) he didn't want to leave until he knew the issue was completely fixed. This company and everyone that came out to work were very professional, respectful and loved what they do. Doing anything huge on your property that cost money is scary. Overall, I would NOT call this company again. On the positive side, I called them and they sent out a technician very fast, like the next day or two. And, the technician got my system running again. But, on the negative side, I did not appreciate the technician pressuring me to sign a contract for an entirely new system. The price the guy quoted me was very high. Plus, he offered me a payment plan and tried to get me to sign up without showing me the interest rate and other terms. He used super high pressure sales tactics and warned me repeatedly that the fix he did was temporary and likely to fail at any minute. In spite of some initial attempt at up charging for the job, he finally came back to earth and was very helpful finding a cost effective solution for us. I guess you can't blame them for trying on the upcharging since it is how they make their money? I don't appreciate that practice since it is in essence trying to take advantage of people but when we explained our situation, he became more reasonable with his pricing and so far the heater works fine again with a 1 year warranty. read more

Not impressed. A rep came out to give me a bid for new AC installation. I already had met with 2 other companies. The MSP rep said I'd meet to upgrade my electrical panel because the current one was maxed out. It is a 200 amp panel and perfectly suitable for adding AC according to the other companies who provided bids. MSP was later than they promised in getting their quote to me (I had to call and ask for it). Their quote was outrageously high, almost 3 times what the other companies were proposing for almost identical products and services. And the rep pushed a hard sell approach which I did not appreciate since I had no intention of signing on the dotted line in that moment. Very nice and courteous, but priced themselves right out of the market. So all in all, I would not hire MSP because of their lack of knowledge regarding my electrical panel and their greedy quote. read more

My indoor temp reached 88° - 95°. I tried to get a replicable Havac company out Asap, but so many were just overwhelmed with service calls! I chose MSP because of all the above. When I first called, I was greeted so nicely by Shasta who made me feel at ease and totally appreciated as a customer. She scheduled an appointment for me which was directly followed by a confirmation text and another the day before and same day of my Appt that included a picture of my Technician informing me he'd arrive within 30 mins confirmed by Donald who was very nice and sincere as well. He accomodated me by moving my Appt up one day early secondary to availability of my Technician's schedule which worked out great for me Last, but surely not least, my Technician Brandon arrived right on time. He was truly gifted and knowledgeable in his field of expertise. He explained every detail with my Ac system's issues from start to finish throughout his entire process of replacing what was needed. First off I want to say MSP Heating and Air was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Great communication and arrived on time every time which is something I really appreciate. You'll be surprised how many companies don't even do this. Danny came out and went into great detail on what work would be done and answered all my questions. My family and I decided that we needed a new HVAC system, furnace, and some duct work. Price was competitive and reasonable. We decided to go with 3.5 ton American Standard unit and 4 ton furnace. Install took about 3 days to complete. Danny and Russell came and did the job from start to finish. They were polite, respectful, and cleaned after themselves. The A/C worked perfectly and you could tell the difference compared to my old unit when it worked. My only concern was that the furnace was not blowing hot air. I informed Danny of this (probably 9pm) and to my surprise he offered to come by and fix as it was a cold night but I told him another time would be best. Just the thought of him coming ASAP to fix no matter time or day is good to know. They came by a few days later (had my house fumigated which is why he didn't come the next day) to fix the furnace.
