The picture of the deck between the house and the deck is mine. The job took a month to complete, a…read morefew hours at a time, acouple of days during the week. The decking was even to the bottom of my door, instead of leaving an inch, or two. Mike left screws, and cutoffs all over, clean up was not very good. there were pencil marks, from marking the wood up, all over the place,and instead of using a snap line to mark where the screws went for the floor boards, he just marked with pencil. all of these marks needed to be sanded off beforeusing semi- transparent stain. There was also a fence,and front steps that were contracted. the fence pickets were touching the ground, the gate won't open cleanly without me scraping the ground. The front steps were reinforced, and never rebuilt, at least Ididn't have to pay for that, because he didn't want to finish the job. My wife worked with Mike previously, in an office job, and wanted to give him a shot when starting a new business. My mistake, I should have hired a professional, instead of a hobbyist. I would NOT, ever hire again.
