They have helped me SO much with my tinnitus. I was quite desperate at the point that i came to them. I've only been a patient for like a month and a half but already i'm noticing tangible changes in my tinnitus and I'm so greatful! they use up to date techniques to measure hearing loss and for hearing protection. I had the BEST experience here today!! My boyfriend and I are both musicians and we are so grateful to have found this place as they specialize in molded ear plugs and in ear monitors for musicians!! Connie was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable and helpful from the get go when we scheduled our appointments. I knew we would be in good hands even before we arrived. During our appointment Vlad took such great care in answering all of our questions and determining the best solution for each of us individually. He too is a musician so we really trusted his input and expertise. His technology was very up to date and we got to see what the inside of our ears looked like on a tv screen which was so cool! He had a lot of useful tips for ways that we can do preventative care at home to keep our ears healthy and protected. I have a lot of respect for specialists who take the time to teach preventative solutions as that can often get ignored. His wife Darien was incredibly sweet as well and they seem to be a well functioning, organized business that genuinely cares about their customer's happiness and well being. Tinnitus can be hard to deal with. ENT specialists advise to distract with white noise devices, avoid sports arenas, live music, or any loud noises in general. I couldn't give up the music! Wearing earplugs has been manageable but dampen that priceless experience of being at a live show. I feel lucky to have come across Mt. Hood Hearing. Their consultation is friendly, to the point and most importantly they come with solutions. They make sure you're comfortable every step of the way. The office is clean and airy and everything is done to make you feel comfortable. Your hearing test is a breeze and Vlad explains your available options and trade-offs in a clear and understandable way. If you do get a hearing aid -I did- you know that any questions will be addressed right away. As a guy who loves music, Darien and Vlad loves keeping customers HAPPY. I first met the two at a head-fi meet to try out the lines of Ultimate Ears professional in-ear monitors. It's nice to talk to folks that really knows the product(s) and ear anatomy (loved the informative slideshow about hearing loss and protection), and better yet, really knows how to take ear impressions. The fit on both the UERM and UE11pro were both bulls eye. Long story short, the UERM ended up not to my liking and throughout the consistent followups and a few hiccups on my part, they were able to get me the UE11pro for a very good price, which I'm very stoked about. Like finding a good car mechanic or general doctor, I've finally found someone to help take care of my ears. I'll be contacting them again for a pair of custom ear plugs to help protect my hearing at concerts, and many, many years down the road when my pride steps aside for in need of hearing aids. Looking for a place to help my father with his hearing aids. These people are saints! Dealing with elderly people who can't hear is a challenge at any level. Mr. Gutierrez made a house call to help my father set up his blue tooth hearing system to his telephone and his television. I can actually talk to him on the phone now which is marvelous. Mrs. Gutierrez helped us with a quick repair we needed and reviewed cleaning and battery changes. While I don't look forward to needing these services myself, I am very happy to know Mt. As a first time hearing aid buyer, I wasn't sure what to expect. The staff at Mt. Hood made what could have been a very frustrating experience a positive one. Professional, friendly and patient on every visit, they worked with me for over 2 months to find a suitable hearing aid for me and to adjust it to my personal needs. When I wasn't satisfied with the first pair I tried, Vladimir suggested a less expensive pair rather than trying to correct the problems by going to a higher end model, which saved me about 15% on price. I am a very experienced hearing aids user (30 years). I have had pretty negative experiences in the last few years with inadequate hearing aids and less competent audiologists so walked into the Mt Hood Hearing with some concerns and hesitation. I recently contacted Mt Hood Hearing Aid Center for my mother. She has hearing loss and is elderly, so she can't go into the office. I was exceptionally pleased at how well and patiently they treated my mother. She lives in an assisted living facility and the hearing aid specialist brought his equipment and tested her hearing in her room. The staff of the facility knew him and highly recommended his services to me. They brightened her day, not to mention fitting her with new hearing aids that have changed her experience in her daily life.
