They call themselves audiologists and ENT surgeons, but they are utterly TONE DEAF socially. Way too much West Hills high-altitude attitude here, if you know what I mean. And the staff does not give a HOOT. Sport to them. They do not seem happy. When I asked for my patient records, they said I needed to sign up on their patient portal to obtain my records-- THIS, they are telling me AFTER I am being terminated as a patient. And the rub is this: on this provider portal, there is an option for text/ email reminders. I NEVER KNEW ABOUT their portal. Why the FUDGE was I not shown this system after the first missed appointment!!!??? COMPLETE JOKE OF AN OPERATION... and the world is too nutty for another JOKER! Do others feel this way??? It was a technology issue but the company took no time to figure out what was broken.... I AM NOT A DOCTOR but that does not seem like good medicine. BAD medicine it seems. My ear hurts, it is not exactly easy to find providers... It is not even that I think the PDXENT patient-termination policy is draconian (yes-- DRACONIAN), ...it is that PDXENT never took time to figure out the disconnect after the first "strike". When did electronic notification become available???? Why did we not deal with this on the first "strike"... My guess is that operations are broken, the staff is generally pissed and the owners are geared on Porsches. Blow. ...that sums it up for me. They can do just that.

Im not completely deaf but I have hearing damage in my left ear and he took the time to listen and adjust the testing to accurately determine what hearing I still have, and what was gone. Ive had hearing difficulty ever since I could remember and when I first got my hearing tested at a different clinic years ago, they put me through the default testing and didn't put in the effort to understand my hearing capacity and they told me then that my insurance wouldn't cover my hearing aid. But when I got my hearing tested at the Oregon hearing solutions, Scott first took his time to see what was wrong and explained everything clearly to me and my mom so not only would I know the type of hearing loss I had, but specific things like the letters and different sounds that I had easy or a harder time hearing. After the initial assessment, he told me that insurance companies don't usually cover the costs for hearing impairments only in one ear, but he told me that since Im under a certain age that there's a better chance that they'd make an exception and that he'd help write a letter to further persuade them to cover my hearing aid, and they did! I got them today and I could not be anymore grateful! Scott and his crew are amazing.

I can say that I believe that I was tested thoroughly and that my hearing aids have been adjusted to optimally perform. The office staff is kind. Also, witnessed a patient go through the process of being tested and given a prescription for their miracle aid foundation hearing aids. That patient was been treated with kindness and respect despite them not making money on the service.

I then reached out to my audiologist niece who suggested I call OHSU SoundSource. (I know-why didn't reach out to her from the start!) They not only fixed the pair I gave them, but an even older hearing aid that was just in the box. I didn't even ask them to have this second pair looked at. And yes, all for $25 WHILE I WAITED (around 15 minutes). OHSU SoundSource is a non-profit .edu connected to the Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) but is all self pay.
