I love beer, but I'm not sure if beer loves me but it definitely shows its affection for me in my belly pooch. The beers here are really good and I have tried from the light, crispy beers to the darkest stouts. I usually swing for the IPAs, but their amber and blondes are just as good! My bf always gets the stouts, which tastes and reminds me a lot of coffee. Their stouts are made with Jameson Brown Coffee, which is one of my favorite coffee shops! I love that they have a variety of board games on the side for people to use, ranging from old school Clue to Jenga. They also have darts, a foosball table, corn hole, and a hook game for you to play around with. They also have an air hockey table, but I believe you have to pay for that. Sometimes, they'd have food trucks outside but I never tried it. I already came here twice this month and I barely discovered this brewery. The crowd is your mid 20s-30s and it hasn't gotten super popular yet (I hope not!) so there aren't as many people. :) read more

Our favorite brewery! Dog friendly. Great line-up of beers. Friendly bartenders. My favorite is the Tears of 1,000 apricots. Unusual beer that I always crave. The only complaint I have, which really doesn't have anything to do with them is the food trucks they get are pretty disappointing. Great spot in a kind of random location, but glad to have it there! Large open warehouse set up with the beer is brewed right there. You are free to bring your families your dogs and any outside food to the brewery making this a super easy spot to meet up with friends. Great place! My friend from SGV suggested we go to this place to hang out and we were not disappointed. First, we walked in as the whole place was playing BINGO and we decided to join. Very exciting to find that my friend won $5 off her tab after winning a round. We tried a flight of Bungalow Blonde, Honeyngton Hef, Incline Ale, Rubio Red, and Inspiration Porter. My personal favorites were the Hef and the Rubio Red. This place is also kid friendly and very welcoming to others. They had a Hawaiian Food Truck visiting so we also grabbed some snacks. To reiterate a previous review, it's a hidden gem in Arcadia. A buddy had me meet him here and it's got a cool laid back vibe. And it's definitely hidden so use your GPS. The beer is brewed at this location and it's good. I had the Hef and Blonde and both were light with a hint of sweetness but also full of body and not just water like a Bud Light. Nice games along the wall and they have a food truck out back. Popcorn machine is a nice added touch. If you're in Arcadia and just want to kick back with a beer, Mt. Lowe is the place. read more

My favorite is their honeyngton hef, which is pretty light and a smooth finish. Since then I have been back many times, I have enjoyed catching up with friends, listening to their live band on weekends and playing foosball/board games! So glad there is a nice local brewery where I can grab a quick drink in a chill atmosphere with one of my favorite genre of music playing in the background: country!! Just discovered this hidden gem with a Yelp community event. It's a block away from the Arcadia 24 Hour Fitness and I would've never known it was here. I actually don't drink beer so I'm missing out on a lot of what they offer, but I really liked the set up. It's an open space that is pet friendly (not just on small outside patio but the entire inside too!) and has an open garage door leading to the back where they can do events or have food trucks pull up. A lot of restaurants or breweries have booths or tables everywhere so you are confined to your one seat, but this place feels very open and you feel like you can walk around and hang out and enjoy the entire place. I'm curious about their food truck schedule because I'm all about the eats, but I can totally picture coming back to hang out with our friends and puppies. read more

I've been lagging on making this review, and I feel guilty because I truly enjoyed this place! I was in the area a few weeks ago for work. My hotel was walking distance from here and I went at least twice. The beer is really great...especially their Hazy IPA and their Hills Have IPA (absolutely love that name!). Honestly, the beer is good. And the set up is good. It has everything you want in a brewery. Good beer, games, a nice ambiance. But the fact that their are so many kids really ruined the experience. As someone without kids, it was very hard to enjoy myself. They have foosball, ping ping, air hockey, and a giant connect four but we couldn't enjoy any of that because parents just left their kids unsupervised, taking over. It honestly seemed like a giant day care, not a brewery. Idk I get it trying to be family friendly but there should be better rules or guidelines. I really did enjoy the beer so maybe we will go back but the unsupervised kids screaming and throwing things really left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I'm not sure if anyone working here has ever worked in the service industry but when I ordered a bloody beer that was supposed to come with olives and lime as stated on the menu, it did not. No big deal, I asked for a lime, as all Cheladas usually come with, willing to overlook the olives. I was told that they only served limes on the weekends and therefore they were not willing to give me one. They later brought the wrong tacos, still not too bothersome. We then asked for a root beer float, which is on the menu, but didn't really want the root beer. We figured this wouldn't be a problem as they would save money by not serving the root beer. Nope, no can do, even though the root beer is served on the side in a can. Finally, we just ordered a pitcher of beer. About one minute after it arrived, they informed us that they have a reservation at our table and we needed to leave. When we explained that we would rather not chug our beers, they sat the waiting party at one of the many open tables around us. I've never written a review. I've bartended, served, hosted and managed restaurants for over 20 years. I hope the owner knows how the wait staff if harming this business. Such potential but clueless staff. read more

I was excited to try this place because it's right by my work! I actually really liked it here. The vibe is awesome. The beers are great and it's just a fun place overall. I got a beer tasting for two deal on Groupon so I only paid $10 for two flights! This place has air hockey- so fun, giant Jenga, and even a small chalkboard with buckets of chalk for the little ones. I love the set up and the guys were very nice, the female employees were not as friendly. They also had a very yummy food truck in the back. My wife and I came here December 23 as we were staying in the area and we are always checking out new breweries. The place was easy to find, on a quiet street and a food truck right outside the front door, how can you go wrong there? The inside was bigger that I thought it was going to be (nice surprise). Finding a seat was not a problem as there were a number of booths, tables and couches, something for everyone. There was a wide open space for games and it seemed busy as there were a number of people participating and everyone appeared to be having a good time. There were a number of old photos about Mt. Lowe and the brewery was set up in such a manor to reflect what Mt. Lowe was all about. The whole brewery is nicely laid out and is pleasant to be in just take a walk around and enjoy. The beer....I try not to comment on any beer unless it's really really good or really really bad. I can guarantee you that if I really like a particular beer a lot, someone really hates it, a lot. They had a number of beers on tap at the time we were there, but there were two seasonal beers that I really enjoyed. It was some of the best seasonal beer I've had ( my wife didn't care for them, so you can see what I mean about commenting on beers.) If you've never been to this brewery you should check it out at least once. Here's the rub!! I am huge on customer service especially when this is your business. I love beer and I love breweries and my motto concerning breweries is..."build it and they will come, it's a guarantee". This holds true especially if there no other breweries around or maybe just one other in the area. When we walked into Mt Lowe it was not busy by any stretch and when I can sit at the bar, make eye contact, and not be acknowledged for 4 to 5 minutes there's a problem here. It quickly became clear that the two ladies working that night did not want to be there. Anyone who knows me on any level, knows that I'm the kind of guy who can walk in and have the bartender turn around throw a drink in my face a say "sorry I thought you were my ex husband!"....My response would truly be "sorry he must have had it coming, and whatever that was, it was good I'll take one in a glass this time.". So to wrap it up...the brewery is nice and worth a visit...really! But, I'll always go back to a place with questionable beer and good service, but it's rare I'll go back to a brewery with good beer and bad service. read more
