Alosta Brewing Co. is easily my favorite local hangout. One of the best things about this place is the bartenders--they are incredibly friendly and always happy to help. If you're overwhelmed by the massive selection, they'll actually let you sample a beer before committing, so you know you're getting something you'll love. Whether you're a hardcore craft beer fan or prefer their seltzers and slushie seltzers, there is something for everyone. The space is great too, with plenty of seating inside and a solid outdoor patio area. Pro Tip for Food: Check their Instagram to see which food vendor or truck is there that night, but I love that you can also bring your own food in. The Weekly Vibe: Wednesday Nights: Music Bingo is a total blast if you want a fun mid-week break. Thursday Nights: My personal favorite! This place is so cute! There is a little back room sort of thing with games and our group loved that. It made it even more family friendly and welcoming for those with smaller children. We stopped by this brewery after trying their beers at an event in the neighborhood. I was mighty impressed by their mango hazy IPA, so I wanted to drop by anticipating that it might be a seasonal item (and I was right). They gave a fun and cozy space with plenty of inside and outside seating and a really cool lounge area. We stayed there and watched a bit of the Dodger's game and just chilled. They have a lot of games and the place was just so inviting! They had a bit of food served by a catering company, so that was pretty convenient as well. We decided to check out this spot after following a friend on IG. Well the spot was awesome great for a date or hangout with fiends. Huge location with DJ's inside and out with different music. We danced had few drinks my girl got slush mango with 15% alcohol and she two omg she was feeling real good. I had sour mango beer was good. The staff is very cool and entire vibe was great everyone having good time to the point ppl came to us to hangout after we were not shy about dancing made new friends. We completely enjoyed this small but mighty Brewery. There is ample seating indoors and out in the patio area. I live a few miles away, but I am frequently in the area running errands. The day came that I was lured in by the Lobster truck! So glad we stopped by, enjoyed some beers and ordered food from the truck. The service was good, friendly staff that helps you select beer based on their knowledge and asking the type you usually like. It was a busy night, despite the rainy weather, people kept coming while we were there. It's a popular place where locals frequent based on reviews and others who have posted their photos. There is an area where they have a good selection of their merchandise for sale. They also had flyers advertising upcoming events. We had a good time and will return. Alosta is a very chill brewery! Decent sized parking lot and close to a few other breweries so you can do brew hop if you wanted to. No kitchen but they often have a few food trucks that they rotate every weekend. They have a pretty wide selection of beers, and have pretty good service! I was only there for a few hours but enjoyed the game room they had to the far left with connect 4, and a few other games! I'd definitely go back on check them out! read more

This place is such a hidden gem. I rarely go to breweries, but when I do, I make it a point to visit this one. First off, their beers are delicious. I'm an IPA person and their IPA's never disappoint. Secondly, the atmosphere is always great! Their outdoor patio is such a chill place and the clientele is very friendly. This brewery was a bit smaller than most that I've been to. I came to celebrate a friends birthday and engagement. The staff were super nice and there's enough space to hang out. They had inside and outside area for seating. I chose a flight of 6 to share with my hubby as he likes to try different drinks. We ended up not choosing a drink in the end as we weren't there for long but I enjoyed each one. So you can say there's a flavor for everyone. What I thought was pretty cool is that the staff play bingo with all of the customers. Winners get a prize. The only downside was that this brewery didn't have a kitchen to sell food but there was a food truck there which was nice. read more

Very disappointed that I go out to enjoy a night of adult entertainment at a brewery and I cant even enjoy the night and dance when there are about six kids under the age of 10 screaming and running around the brewery with balloons. I love kids and not trying to be negative but I don't think little kids should be at a place where people are drinking. I babaysit all week and dont want to deal with that. Besides the awesome live band, I wasn't too impressed with their beer selection. I had gotten their beer sampler to see what I would like, but unfortunately, I didn't like any of them. I love this place! I was here on a Thursday night, which also happens to be when the brewery hosts Trivia night - always so much fun!! I've come here a number of times and have always enjoyed and appreciated the kid and dog friendly atmosphere. These days they have a food truck featuring their food - not sure if this is Thursday's only or every night. Service is always excellent. The beers are great! While I'm not a major craft brew drinker, I have found a beer or two that I do enjoy at Alosta. I lean toward the hard seltzers, slushees, and ales. The original plan was ro visit campsite brewery but the wait was too long. I searched a different spot and this place came up with great reviews. Upon arriving, the line was long but made sense since it was a holiday weekend. I tried one of their IPAs but I was not a huge fan. The cider option was good though (prices were very reasonable) . This place is a pretty cool little hidden spot away from the big street. There's a food truck on the location. You will have to pay for a $5 food voucher before ordering your drinks. Once you get your drinks, you can go outside and order food. If you order anything over $5, then you just pay the difference. They have plenty of merchandise to buy. We tried the damn fine parking job and the mango grapefruit ipa. Both beers were good. The mango grapefruit iPA was a bit tangy and not too hoppy. The Damn Fine parking job was a bit stronger but also tangy. Overall, it's a nice little spot to just hangout and grab a drink. read more

A fun brewery, we went for trivia on a Thursday. I believe the host makes their own trivia so it was really fun and hard. The beer was great with a wide variety of drafts. They also have slushies which looked good. They had a pizza food truck there and the pizza was great with many unique flavors. What's a day without beer? After a full day snacking then attending the Huy Fong open house...we needed BEER! Alosta was my choice and six drinking mates joined me for a pleasant evening of beer flights, a game of "Crimes Against Humanity" (I won!) and sampling the nightly food truck offerings from The Stuft Empanada. I really enjoy finding new and slightly hidden Breweries in business parks! Alosta was a fun find with a mellow staff, interesting beer (with something for everyone), and a low-key atmosphere with different food trucks nightly (see online schedule). Flights are always the way to go when it's tour first visit to a new brewery. I chose: *Second Empire / DIPA, 9.1% abv *Hazy Banger's Ball / Hazy IPA, 6.1% abv *Spadra / West Coast IPA, 6.8% abv *Funky Cherry / Oatmeal Stout, 7.9% abv *MAOS - Mrs. Adams' Oatmeal Stout, 6.5% abv *Vanilla Coffee Stout / with The Reverse Orangutan Timana Coffee, 5.5% abv I enjoyed all of these with the exception of the cherry stout - it was too much like cough syrup. My favorites were the MAOS and the Vanilla Coffee Stouts - I like stouts! Board and card games kept us there for a few hours as did the delicious Stuft Empanada items. Yum! Tried their blueberry seltzer at a holiday event in San Dimas last weekend and it was on point! It had such a distinct blueberry taste while staying true to the light and crisp vibes of a seltzer. It reminded me of Wild Blue Blueberry Lager, but less heavy of course. It was a pretty pink color and even smelled very blueberry-like. A++! read more

I have been wanting to add Alosta Brewing Co, ABC, to my list of visited breweries for quite awhile now. Finally here and this makes brewery visit #151 for me. ABC is in one of those light industrial areas and has a nice outdoor area, which has been well expanded due to overreaching government decisions related to covid. They also had a food truck tonight, more on that later. Unfortunately due to LA County silliness they are not allowed to provide samples or do tasting flights. So you only get to hear firsthand impressions of a couple of beers. SWPFTD started out with the Oktoberfest which had a little hint of skunky aroma to it but was still tasty. I started out with the Scotch Ale because "you may take my beer but you will never take my freedom!!!" This was a nice Scotch ale, and definitely worth another pint. I stole my sisters orange chocolate stout and gave it a try. (Roll your ryes all you want about sharing a beer...I don't care what you think.) The orange chocolate stout was pretty damn good. Mellow aroma of orange and chocolate and a flavor to match. Ok, probably the last one for me here tonight, the Elias. Elias is a really, really nice English pale ale. No, an English pale ale is not necessarily pale. And an English "bitter" is not bitter. Get over it! November 2021 - Tried the Dr Adams Blue Raspberry! It's a blue slushy and the best part is that it's 10% but you can't taste the alcohol. They have a nice little outdoor setup and I'd go back again! Service was friendly also! I do wish they had heat lamps or something because although I had a jacket, it still got pretty cold outside. So bring an extra jacket! They do not serve food and the food truck that was there was crazy expensive for the portion but that's not the establishments fault. Hands down my favorite brewery in the SGV! The beer selection always has the classic staples, plus a great rotating selection. Each beer has its unique rich, well rounded flavors. 10/10 recommend Sally, their blonde ale. Or if you are looking for something a bit more unique, Saison Bleu! It has a rich herbal and floral note as it's brew with ginger and bleu sage. The service here is always the best. This team gets to really know their people, and Lindsey is the sweetest human being. The highlight for me is definitely their powerful cool FANs that kept me cool during the hot summer weather so I could enjoy my beer and still look sexy like those commercials with wind blowing in the girl's hair in the perfect direction ;) Service here was VERY FRIENDLY. It has that family-touch to it. I was excited that they had flights available... You can have a flight of 4, 6, or mooooorreeeeee. Since this was only stop #2, I didn't want to go overboard so I asked my buddy to share a flight of 6 with me. Flight of 6: - Spadra - IPA 6.8% abv ($3/5oz) - Mrs. Adams Oatmeal Stout NITRO 6.5% abv ($3/5oz) - Melli Vanilli Sweet Stout w Black Sage and Vanilla 4.1% abv ($2/5oz) - Calaveras - American Pale Ale 5.5% abv ($2/5oz) - Hwy 39 - German Lager 5.3% abv ($2/5oz) - Swindler's Joe with closer note coffee 4.7% abv ($2) I was initially concerned that we wouldn't be able to distinguish between each other's beer, but if you look at my picture. Mine are all the dark ones and my buddy got the light ones. Among my 3 picks my favorite was the Mrs. Adams Oatmeal Stout NITRO and the Swindler's Joe was a close second. I like my stouts and things with notes of coffee. I don't know what went wrong with the Melli Vanilli. It was so badddddddd. Even one sip made me feel horrible. I wish I read the description closely because all I saw when I ordered was "Stout" but... in retrospect... black sage anything sounds bitter. I am ashamed to saw I couldn't force myself to finish it. My buddy had better luck with their picks but it is in mutual agreement that we like the beers from Arrow Lodge better, but the ambiance here at Alosta more. I would recommend coming here for a drink before starting your night or after dinner. I personally enjoy sharing the (beer) flight sampler. Alosta Brewing Co has a variety of beers and icy seltzers. I was disappointed that they didn't have the blood orange beer on tap on my last visit. It is delicious! I have not tried the seltzers yet. They have an out door patio which has a cozy fire pit and patio chairs. The wooden chairs are a bit hard it would be more comfortable to sit on padded outdoor furniture. The staff is very friendly. We've been to Alosta Brewing a few times and its a good brewery to have a few beers and hang out with friends but would definitely pass on food. The brewery itself does not serve food however, every time we've been there the food trucks (Cousins Maine Lobster and a BBQ truck) were so overpriced (not the breweries fault) and food was mediocre - definitely plan on eating before going. The main reason why I give this place three stars is due to staff. Both times I have came here I am ignored for at least five minutes or so before someone asks me what I would like to order - both times the bar was empty. Also seating is not the most comfortable. read more
