Is there walnut nougat candies .. They are so delicious in my opinion they are the perfect snack. I carry them in my purse and I sometimes give them away as gifts. I had first came across Mt Olive products at the SLO Farmer's Market last year and fell in love with their persimmon walnut nougat which I shared with my mom who also loved it. So on the way to SLO, I knew I needed to stop by to pick some up. With four packs safely in hand, we were about to check out but was distracted by their many fresh fruit juices that I've never tried like plum and pine needle...??? Although I am all about trying new things, pine needle juice was a bit too exotic for me so I went with 1 plum and 1 pear. Because there is some sugar in the plum juice, it isn't as tart as we thought and quite refreshing so I ended up going back in and getting 2 more frozen ones to go. They have tables outside that you can enjoy your purchases and/or lunch which they also sell and the setup is beautiful just like a winery which they seemed to be flanked by. Before we left, we also tried their olive oil, tapenade, olive, and sun dried tomato tastings and bought a bunch of early Xmas gifts to make baskets and finally the sunflower sprouts that a fellow Yelper raved about. Great find in Paso Robles! They offer great organic products. I love the flavored olive oils and balsamic. The peach balsamic salad dressing is amazing! I ordered a cup of organic coffee which was good. The food looked good but didn't order on this visit. I will definitely order food next time. You could spend quite a bit of time here. There is a green house, worm beds, alpacas, goats, rabbits and guinea pigs in the back. There's even a few ducks roaming free around the property. read more

We had a wonderful time at this farm to table restaurant. It is a beautiful location! About the food: 1). I ordered the pulled pork spicy and that was served as requested. The spice worked well with their BBQ sauce. Yum! 2). My wife had the Eden mix and it was wonderful with the fresh Fuji apples 3). My son had the chicken & arugula salad. He said the chicken was moist and flavorful. There is organic olive oil, soaps, tapenade and various and sundry things such as artichokes, chia seeds, honey, etc. This is a well run family run business and is worth a stop when in Paso or if you are here for wine tasting. Adorable farm that I happened to stumble upon! It was such a treat getting real "farm-to-table" food. I ordered the apple broccoli slaw salad and enjoyed it on the front patio with a great view. Believe me -- the lettuce and produce will taste so different from what you get in the supermarket. Make sure to check the place out if you stop by. You can also pick up an assortment of juices, produce, jams, walnuts, etc. from here. There's also a wide sampling bar in the back. Only wished I had known you can turn the sandwiches to a salad. First, I bought two jars of small chilly sauces and they charged me the big jar price. Second, one of big olive jar I purchased has huge cloud of mold. Unfortunately I found out that when I came back home so that was just waste of $8. Third, a balsamic vinegar I purchase had label saying product of Italy. It's an over priced and have neat label on it so I thought it was produced at the farm. Since it's on the label I guess it's my fault to purchase without checking the package but I was hugely disappointed. If you gonna shop there I would recommend check the receipt, check the price and read the label or walk away! read more

Okay, so after I just lectured in my last review about cautioning us Yelpers about giving only very high or very low reviews, I can't believe that I am wriiting my third five star review in a row... but this place deserves five stars!!! If you are going wine tasting in Paso Robles, it is the perfect place to go to break up your tour and shake it up a bit with olive oil and organic fruits and other tastings! You will drive about a mile or so off of the main road heading up to the lake on Adelaida Rd. It is on the left hand side and as you drive into beautiful grounds, it is well worth the short drive. They have a tasting room with all different olive oil, perserves, olive, etc, tastings... My daughter had to go there ever since my mother in law had taken her there several years earlier. She had talked about the strawberry juice since she was a little girl and stocked up! I bought the most amazing organic strawberry perserves you have ever tasted! And some Mother's Day gifts that I had not purchased yet! The gal at the counter was very informative and friendly and I definitely will be going back. You do need to check their hours because they are seasonal so before you make the drive out there, call or google them to make sure they are open. But they have this interesting organic immune tonic that I want to research! All and all, it made my daughter so happy to go and get her juice, I couldn't have had a better time sharing that experience with her! It was the cherry on top to my Mother's Day! read more

Was brought here by friends on a central coast trip we took. We brought our daughters and they had a fun time while we waited for the fresh food. The meat in the sloppy joes was grass fed and well flavored. The gluten free bread was delicious and tomatoes were really good. Great store as well. Glad to support a family organic farm. read more

A must visit on any trip to the area! We bought some olives, olive oils and tapenade. After talking to some locals, they highly recommended we turn around and go back for the tomato bisque. Cute shop & tons of oils, olives, tapenades etc. to taste. Appreciated the employees don't follow you around like getting all up in your sauce while you're tasting their sauces lol...we purchased a few different bags of nuts, spicy olives and a basil pesto. The nuts were fine but when we actually got home and opened the jar of olives and pesto sauce we bought, they don't taste anything like the samples. The olives are soggy and the pesto was terrible. It wasn't fresh tasting at all, you can tell it's made with dried herbs & cheap oil, we had to throw it out :( I recommend visiting & sampling but don't recommend purchasing olives or pesto. read more

While Justin, Artisan and Thomas Hill are great eats, from my mouth to Edesia's ears, the food at Mt. Olive is beyond compare. Sure the ambiance is humble and home-like; but, in this case, that's just how I wanted it. At Mt. Olive, the focus is on serving the highest quality, seasonal ingredients -- most of which have traveled no more than a basket carry to arrive on my plate. It's just that simple: fresh + local + seasonal = supreme. Duck Egg Burger on House-Baked Bun: First time having a duck egg in any preparation and I am definitely sold. It's yoke-driven flavor and perfect seasoning made me forget completely that there was no other protein involved. The egg and veg served as great compliments to the finish of the freshly cooked bread. I can't remember ever having a better carb! Not in SF, not in Italy, not anywhere! To wash down the juicy burger I ordered a true Mt. Olive Original -- Shiso Tea. If you love Shiso, Japan's version of Basil, you will fall head-over-heals for this unique brew. It is made simply from Shiso (grown on site), purified water and organic brown cane sugar. Chicken Potstickers: Made fresh with organic produce, these dumplings are pillows of heaven on a plate. It wouldn't be fair to compare them to the soup dumplings of LA or SF which we have tried; however, as far as gyoza-style dumplings go, these are some of the best I have every had. I buy their perfect sprouts and greens mix every week at the farmers market, along with their fresh duck eggs, hand processed fruit snacks, and whatever else I can get my hands on. Their salad dressings are divine, I've had two out of their line so far- and fully intend to work my way through them all. The Mt Olive tapenades have renewed my interest in olives, and muffeleta- and toast. Yesterday, I figured out that they allow visitors to their farm and visited for lunch, and their farm store. The food was excellent. It's amazing these days to find people truly making food from scratch- and they do, every laborious step of it. From scratch, from their farm. The results elevate the Pat Thai, Pot Stickers, and simple sandwiches into something divine. Not to mention its entirely organic, and non GMO. I heart you Mt Olive. read more

This place carries all organic items that they grow and process themselves. Their olive products are very good and their juices are unique. They produce only enough items to sell every week so everything is always fresh. We also had lunch while there and the Thai food is wonderful. We had Pad Thai, Thai chicken noodle soup, pot stickers and a veggie wrap. Everyone enjoyed their choices and I'm sure the freshness of the ingredients had a lot to do with how they tasted. Like C.F. I too found Mt. Olive via a farmers market. I was traveling to Santa Barbara last November and stopped in to Paso Robles. What a wonderful farm. Everything grown, produced and served in 100% organic. I planned ahead and let them know I was bringing a group of 10 to have lunch. We ordered lunch then they gave us a mini tour of the farm and received great insight on all thing about organic farming. When the tour was completed our lunch was ready. We ordered teriyaki chicken sandwich, jalapeño pizza, chicken salad, and chili. Every dish was wonderful. Their tasting room had samples of every item they offer. We stocked up on sauces, salad dressings, bruschetta, and olives. This is a not to be missed place when in Paso Robles. read more

I with they would put more of that delicious teriyaki sauce on it though. The ingredients tasted like they were planted and grown specifically for my sandwich. They have a variety of greens that are spicy or tangy or robust or hearty, and who doesn't crave a diverse salad?
