No towing was needed but they were willing to let me overnight my keys to them, meet the transport driver where my car was parked, and perform the handoff of my car and keys. They provided frequent updates as they coordinated directly with the transport driver and even texted me pictures of my car prior to it being loaded to protect me in the event the transport company accidentally damaged my car during loading or transit. They did all of this for an incredibly reasonable fee. A first class experience that was so good I tipped an additional 50%. Honestly the best experience I've ever had with a towing company.

Then a day like today occurs and I remember... this is why, you big dummy! All was going well commuting from Oxnard to Camarillo when all of a sudden an object could audibly be heard in the center of the back left tire. Within seconds, you could hear it dislodge and the air began to seep so quickly that within 2 miles we had no choice but to pull over. Cue the emotional violins as my dad and I sat in the heat, prepped the spare then realized...no lug nut star or wrench to get the job done. After a quick call to AAA, they let me know they would have a driver over some time before 4:05 (I'm almost done with this review and it's barely 3:52!). He arrived in far less than the hour AAA anticipated, and even less than the 30 minutes Brian anticipated! He jacked the car, used his drill to quickly exchange tires, threw the flat in our truck bed and we were off! Incredible service. Polite and personable. A+ in my book.

I called Platinum late morning/early afternoon to find out when I could pick up my car. The man on the line told me they're closed on Saturday's and I would need to call Monday at 8am for info. Went back and forth a few more times with the person repeating "Monday 8am." So I didn't have my car for the weekend. Monday at 8am, I called and was told I could pick up my car at their Westlake lot. I asked what form of payment they accepted and they said cash or credit, but credit cards were charged a processing fee. Arrived at the location and the lady behind the counter said they're closed on Saturday, but if a driver was in the office, he could've processed my vehicle release. Funny this information wasn't provided when I called Saturday and I had to pay for 2 additional impound days. Finally, when I paid by cash, the lady said she didn't have change and I was "welcome to go and get exact payment." Wow, how generous. So I ended up paying $420 instead of $416 because she didn't have four $1 bills. These people are the worst...borderline criminal.

We were quoted $300 for the tow which we agreed to and were encouraged to reach out to companies that might give cash for the car. When my mother picked up the car she was told the bill was over double what we were previously quoted. Stated the storage fee was $74 per day. This was not disclosed to us and I attempted to pay and pick up the car sooner but the yard is closed on weekends so I was provided no further options. My mother paid the bill with my card and I reached out requesting a breakdown of costs. After no response I called and spoke with a combative associate who chose not listen to my concerns but tell me that I was at fault for misunderstanding the policies although there is no place to reference the verbal agreement. I still haven't received an emailed receipt and the phone conversation left a sour taste in my mouth. I expressed concerns of the change in price and I don't believe they were appropriately addressed. For this reason I would not choose to work with this company again. As previously noted, I had a great experience with the business owner and I don't believe this experience was a reflection of him or the business as a whole but the quality of customer service over the phone was enough to deter me from future services if they were needed.

They videoed my damage on a cell phone , and said I had to come back in an hour to see the drivers video he "took" before he towed it.
