Had to call my insurance company for them to tell me they had canceled the tow because I did not answer their call. It's an emergency why wouldn't I answer their phone call. Towed my sons car, was on the phone with them within 3-4 hours, and they Charged me $445 to get it back. Then our bumper was damaged in the tow, I just picked it up from the repair shop with a brand new bumper, so I know it was perfect. They videoed my damage on a cell phone , and said I had to come back in an hour to see the drivers video he "took" before he towed it. I asked them to send me the proof it was damaged prior, they said be here by 4pm or we will not have it available for you. We requested copies (as i was on an I phone) and they refused. Who likes getting their car towed? No one, but at least be fair about it and tow everyone and not just the nice cars they figure owners will come get and pay right away! In the span of 24 hours my car and my brother's car (who stopped for a quick visit) were both towed away while other older rusty looking cars stayed in the "private lot" all weekend and never got towed. David, their driver, fried the transmission in my 2018 Audi A4 when taking it to a repair shop for a flat tire. Their wonderful receptionist, whatever her name was cause she refused to give it to me, hung up on me and blocked my phone number so that they wouldn't have to deal with my complaint. When I finally got to speak to both of them, she wouldn't be quiet and let the driver speak for himself because she knew he would be caught in a lie, which they were. The receptionist told me the MECHANIC put my car in the bay, which never happened as the car never even made it to the bay. After talking to the driver, the driver admitted to struggling to get my car off the truck and then parked it in a spot in the front and told no one anything. After the repair shop went to put my car in the bay, they discovered every single light on my dash and my car wouldn't move. They then called me and I went to confirm that David had in fact killed my vehicle. Their lovely receptionist continued to try to lie stating her driver was never in the vehicle despite having admitted to it and having been caught on camera footage, which I did see :) thanks Payless towing, your name says so much about your business! If you wanna go from a small repair to needing a new vehicle entirely, be sure to give Payless towing a call and ask for David :) Update: even more news on David's wonderful work! In his struggle to get my car off his truck, he BENT my tire rim so now it needs an entirely new rim as it cannot be repaired. You guys really did a number on my car, thank you so much!!! Worse service ever, cars is been here 1 day right after I got the notice and they wanted to charger me $500 for 1 day and labor !!! Isn't that part of their job and then they try telling me to that it takes 72hrs (3days) to send the later to the car has been there 4 days now ??? Then they said it's not their job to send the letter, but the letter comes from their business address and logo with all the information of this business, it makes no sense. Worst Experience ever they had my car for less than 4 hours and charged a full days rate I had a personal medical emergency and asked If there was anyway I could get charged a partial fee since my suv had not been there that long and also consider my medical emergency hoping they would have some compassion but NOPE the lady that helped me said NO" didn't even bother to check with anyone else I then payed with no problem i go in the back and check my car and noticed the side door has a chrome panel and it's loose when I ask the manager how could of that happened he got all defensive stating I was just trying to avoid paying " when I had already paid I just wanted to know what happened to my car 20 min later we were going back and forth about the damage he refuse to take responsibility because it was not a dent" so therefore he is not responsible bottom line is you don't have to have a dent" for any other damage to happen ! In February of this year I had a flat tire on the freeway. They showed up and said it would be $110 to move me off of the freeway and change my tire. Then the employee never changed my tire and took me to pep boys to get a tire change (without me requesting it) and told me it would be the same price. After dropping off my car at pep boys, he called his boss and he said the charge would be $230 not $110. They completely blindsided me and I had no experience with this so I just paid the money. Payless towing is the absolute worst, most unprofessional business I've ever seen. The people have no idea what they're doing, they're completely rude and are totally incompetent. They keep the front door to the business locked and won't let in customers. They answer the phone but will hang up on you if you ask too many questions. Overall this is the worst place in the world.
