For the amount of money you are spending I would recommend having a few options before deciding to work with this company. You expect certain expectations when spending thousands of dollars, and to be honest the work was decent at best with the quality the workers provided. Moving out here from Los Angeles area, I know the options are very limited and sometimes you go with your first option or option where it seems too good to be true, but know that because a company has great stars and reviews doesn't mean it will translate to every customer. Just check on Amazon and view certain products. Overall it can seem to be the choice to make, but once you start digging and start reading certain reviews, you see that those 'quality' products have flaws and it's my duty to provide those same critical reviews to potential clients. We hired MTS Landscape to help us with our front and back yards. We recently moved to a home and the yards had been neglected and were ugly and not inviting spaces where we could enjoy our home. I know nothing about landscaping and construction and was basically clueless about what we wanted. I was having trouble getting someone to show up and provide a quote. I submitted a quote request on Yelp and Carlos responded almost immediately. He showed up on time and was very helpful when providing our initial estimate. He helped me articulate my vision and thoroughly explained what would be involved. His prices were fair and transparent. I had previous contractors who tried to charge illegal down payments (more than $1,000) and I appreciated that Carlos was honest. When work began, his crew showed up on time and they worked hard. We had veneer placed over our existing retaining wall with added lighting, ground cover, plants, and trees planted, a concrete border and artificial turf laid in our backyard. We also had trees removed, cleanup and drought tolerant plants installed in the front. It's a completely new space now. After reading the excellent reviews on yelp I gave carlos a call for a very big job on my 1 acre property, I had multiple 25 foot palm trees, large trees and 50 feet of shrubs that needed trimming to stay compliant with fire department requirements. Carlos called back same day and came over for a free estimate that afternoon. He gave me the best estimate! His crew arrived next morning as promised and worked hard and efficiently until the afternoon. They cleaned up well and Carlos communicated clearly about the progress of the job. He said his crew would return in 2 days to complete the work. 2 days later, they arrived as promised and finished the entire job. One thing that sets Carlos apart from other companies is that he has a tree grinder and large truck to hall away all the ground up palm tree frawns and tree branches. I gave Carlos a call, he showed up the same day for an estimate. There was large amount of shrubs and smaller trees that I had already cut down. he gave me a good price for cutting down 3 trees, 2 hedges and grinding down 4 stumps plus removal of everything I cut down. I set an appointment for a couple days later and his workers showed up and waisted no time in getting to it. Carlos showed up toward the end of the job to help his guys clean up and to make sure I was happy with their work. I'm 100% satisfied. Fast forward 3 months. I noticed a couple large roots exposed after the mulch from the tree stump started to decay. I shot Carlos a call and he asked me to send a couple pics.
