Unfortunately this review has to be written because of unprofessionalism and lack of communication with a client with one of the salon owners. Although a job well done, any person who gets a service and pays a good amount of money for their service should be able to obtain a receipt/invoice for proof of service. Any professional business and business owner should be more than willing to do this for their client no matter what the service they get from a salon whether it be a color, cut, product purchase, etc. If a good salon offers "top of the line" services and has experience within the community, a client should also feel comfortable paying for the service knowing their payment information is safe and secure while being able to obtain a receipt. Whether cash, credit, debit or whatever the payment method chosen and accepted, a strong business should have a reliable merchant program with the business' information and details provided on the receipt to make a client feel rest assured that it is legit and safe. This is what makes a business successful and strong and makes clients want to come back. Good business with a hair salon isn't just about the hair, but about the way a person is treated, the way payment is taken knowing it is trustworthy, and the reassurance that a client can get a legitimate receipt knowing that the services are rectified. The way a person is treated by an employee of a salon is also extremely important, whether their role is a regular hairstylist there renting a chair, or a salon owner. On an end note, although the talent of this salon is there, the treatment and disrespect from an owner was very disappointing and handled extremely unprofessionally. For that reason, the salon will not be recommended or referred in any way because it would be very upsetting if any other individual had to experience any of the unprofessionalism mentioned above. read more
