Lucky for me, I found Tricia and she was exceptional. The vibe was relaxed and very chill, which i appreciate compared to a shitshow chaotic salon or barber. Admittedly, and communicated to her on arrival, getting my longer hair cut just a few times a year makes me an even bigger pain in the ass than normal. I took the short subway ride over here, and was glad to be immediately tended to by one of the barbers here. The guy cut my hair decently, and we had a good conversation in the meanwhile. He was quick, but got my cut right. They are pretty efficient here, I saw almost no line, but there were quite a number of customers coming in and out. This is a good option on the upper west side.

He's absolutely lovely and an unbelievably talented artist-- I could not believe the hair and confidence I walked out with!! I emerged transformed with the most gorgeous hair and have felt 1000% better about my appearance than I ever did before pregnancy.
