Some friends and I were looking at getting some late night bites and decided to check this place out after playing some pickleball. This place gave me "dive bar" type vibes and had plenty of TV's showing various sports games. We decided to go family style and share some food. We went with some wings and cheese curds. Some other friends got two pizzas (they do BOGO pizza) which I wish we knew about before ordering. The food tasted really good and the service was decent as well. We stopped in on a late Thursday afternoon for a post unloading move in. It was surprisingly quiet, only a few other small tables; good to know....a late lunch is an ideal quiet time to dine. Ate at the Muddy Cow twice while in Minneapolis. The service was great. Both times our server was Geovanny. He was friendly and always checked with us if we needed anything. This place is always busy! I placed an order over the phone for Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. I'm willing to make a 20+ minute drive just for this Mac & Cheese, which says a lot! It was ready by the time I visited, and the parking lot was packed. The cavatappi noodles soak up the Buffalo cheese sauce. The chicken maintained its crunch and the meal was still warm by the time I made it home. The portion was plenty for the price. This is absolutely a crave worthy meal. When we visit in person, we love that they always have 2-4-1s. Stopped in for lunch with my husband while in the north metro. We were warmly greeted by the host and our server. Our drinks and our food came quickly. We were happy with our lunch choices. I had the boneless chicken wing wrap and it was stuffed full of chicken. No skimping! The fries were also amazing! Both my wrap and my husband's burger were very good. The only pitfall was that the door handles, the beer menu and our table top were sticky/grimy. Also our server reeked of cigarette smoke. (She was however really wonderful!) I would've preferred a little more heat, but was super happy with the flavor. The seating area is huge and there is plenty of tvs, games (darts, video games, pull-tabs). If you have a big party, this is a good place to go. Instead of free popcorn, they have cheese balls. I was too full to try, but very unique. I just went with my dad to Muddy Cow, and it's a wonderful establishment. The atmosphere inside is quite alike a cabin feel. From the dark bricks to the wooden beams overhead, it's certainly quite homey. We sat next to the window looking out to the water fountain by the patio, and it was enjoyable. Our server was really kind and responsive. We ordered some fried pickles, my first time trying them, and they were delectable. My main course was the pepperoni pizza, which we were told would arrive in 20 minutes, and I believe it came even quicker. The slices were quite cheesy which I'm personally not a huge fan of, but the flavor was undoubtedly tasty, especially getting to the crust (scrumptious). Our server disappeared after bringing our drinks and didn't return for 15 minutes or more in an almost empty restaurant. We ordered burgers that the menu said were butter infused which is why we ordered them, thinking they would be fresh ground beef. Not only were they not 1/3 lb, more like 1/4 lb, they were frozen patties and dry! My husband said his patent leather loaders from 3rd grade had more juice in them! We won't return. read more

Came here for dinner when staying at the Holiday Inn Express across the parking lot. It's a convenient choice within walking distance with a rather large establishment that fits a lot of people. Saw lots of families and couples of all ages. We sat outside by the fountain, and it was nice to hang outside and chat in a small group over some food and drinks. I ate some really oily and salty cheese curds with ranch and a spicy sriracha sauce that I didn't really care for, as I'm not a fan of spicy food. I also got their Paul Bunyou burger, which was touted as a specialty of the place. It was only $5 for $5 burger Mondays instead of $11.50, and I upgraded to waffle fries for $2. Yummy, heavy, greasy--my burger was topped with bacon, provolone cheese and sautéed mushrooms, topped with a jumbo onion ring, cheese curds, and house gravy.
