Great staff and excellent cooking! Please don't miss the small diner for breakfast! It's soooo good. I had a make your own omelette with veggies and it was excellent. Don't miss this location!

They clearly do a lot of pick up orders. Service was good. Food was okay. It's a little run down, but I suspect it's the best burger in town.

I order the breakfast burrito with sausage and green salsa. Paired the French toast.

Gas. Straight-up delicious. Huge portions, super tasty, and just hit the spot. The kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. If you're nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in.

When I hiked near here in the fall, the restaurant was closed. Being in the area to visit the Warm Springs Natural Area and the Moapa Valley Wildlife Refuge, we decided to stop here for lunch before heading back to Las Vegas. We enjoyed the murals on the west side of the building before we went in. We took seats and a server brought us menus quickly. She also took our drink order. We both decided to get the Muddy burger, an open faced burger topped with chili, cheese, and diced onion. With the burger, you have a choice of side. My friend got Cole slaw and I got fries. After a short time, the large plates arrived with a lot of food. The chili was very good and the burger was such a change from the normal cheese, lettuce, tomato and bun top. There is a bottom bun underneath the burger. I was certainly in carb city with all this. This was not the day to get dessert! I was full. Our server was one of the most pleasant persons I have had in a long while. She was just super. I wish I had gotten her name so I could give her a better shout out here. I first saw this small, older, country bar and grill the first time I was in this area over 15 years ago. It was a good stop after a busy morning of hiking and visiting interesting spots in the Moapa Valley area.

A good hearty breakfast was had this Sunday morning. Good coffee and service accompanied our selections of Huevos Rancheros and Country Fried Steak & Eggs. It's always fun finding a good mom and pop when traveling. Can't beat comfort food with good portions to start your day.

1880 Grille - This was one of the BEST fettuccine Alfredo's I've ever had!

Before I went to Mesquite to see…read morethe carvings of Little Mount Rushmore et. al., I searched for restaurants. 1880 came up and I bookmarked it. I got dirctions from the Yelp app and was soon at the golf club. The restaurant is quite nice. There is patio dining and great views of the fairway(s). After looking over hte menu, I ordered the chili verde omelette. The omelette has Pork chile verde, pepperjack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, topped with pepperjack cheese and chile verde. The sour cream and guacamole are in small cups so you can use what you want. You have a choice of toast. I got rye toast. Butter for the toast is served separately in small plastic containers for those who want dry toast. The omelette also comes with some hash browns. I was served coffee shortly after I was seated and it was refilled once and I was asked about a second refill. It was a wonderful breakfast and made my drive to Mesquite a tasty place. The Grille gets 5 stars especially for the service. My server, Jessica, was delightful and so pleasant. I'm not in Mesquite often, but I would stop here another time for a meal.

Food took a long time to get to the table. We ordered fish tacos, very messy and hard to pick up 2*, chicken wings were way over cooked and hard to chew 1*, fries, okay could have been cooked more 3*. We were disappointed as we had heard great things about this restaurant but will give it another try. In the pictures the wings were photogenic but were hard to chew.

We got there a tad before noon and the Husband had been eyeing the Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs $17.99 which is typically part of their Breakfast menu that goes from 7 am to 12 noon. The waitress said it wouldn't be an issue, so that's what he got. He was quite satisfied with it and there wasn't anything left on his plate. The Little Gal got Chili Cheese Fries $7.99 and it was a decent size order. She ate most of it and was satisfied. I had originally planned on getting the Fish & Chips $14.99, but then I saw Potato Skins $8.99 on the menu and it's been a good while since I had some potato skins. I ordered the Fried Zucchini Sticks $8.99 and potato skins. The waitress let me know there was a side order of the skins for $3.99, which was just perfect! I was quite content with my zucchini and potatoes. Those potato skins hit the spot! The waitress was great. She was very nice and just on top of things. She seemed very personable. She explained that only the Pasta and Entrees were available after 3 pm but the House Favorites, Salads, and Specialty Burgers were available then as it wasn't very clear on the menu. (At least that's what I remember her saying...) We sat with another family and they had no issues doing separate checks. Their menu had a good variety to choose from. If you're in the area, check out Salt with a touch of Sugar. They've been around for about a year or so.

I cannot fathom how I need to be in the middle of MesquiNevada to enjoy good Peruvian food. My only tip is to understand the restaurant front is hidden behind the Dermatologist office. The service was phenomenal and the food temperatures were just perfect. All those we ordered. Everyone's order was different so we could share some of our food. The servings are mostly for a single serving. What was outstanding Ceviche (we ordered the fish 3 flavors) Octopus (best I've ever had - very tender) Shrimp & Steak Big Plate (we chose fried rice) The extra orders of plantain (we can't get enough of) Chicken fried rice (scrumptious) Grilled beef heart (also delicious) Seafood rice like paella was devoured by the group as well. Bathroom as mentioned by another reviewer was very clean. The place itself was minimally decorated but it was just perfect. When the weather gets cooler they can accommodate more people outside but currently it's just very warm. Parking is ample especially on a weekend when all the offices around them are closed. Come and try them when you are in Mesquite - passing by or just make it your meal stop and you won't be sorry. I would've love to take pictures but we were all very hungry so we devoured everything as it hit our table!!!! Yum yum
