This place is an embarrassment to the service industry. We were passing by on our way to Utah and stopped for a quick bite. We arrived at 11:19am and proceeded to wait for 10 minutes before getting our drinks ordered. Our drinks arrived at 11:30, then we ordered food. At 12:30 after watching everyone get served their food, the server approached and told us that "I'm taking full responsibility" for not submitting our order. When she remembered her error breakfast was cut off and they couldn't submit the order. We waited an hour for food that never showed. This placed was unsanitary, food advertised but not available. Bar was not stocked with simple beverages. Several tables were left cluttered with plates, food, and trash for the entirety of our wait. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would.. we were on our way to Utah for a trip and starving so we stopped here we ordered our breakfast at 11:38 am they stop serving breakfast at 12pm .. however we got there at 11:19 it took almost 20 minute just to take our order when we finally ordered our drinks we put in our order for food we waited until fricken 12:30 ONE HOUR waiting for food ONLY for her to come back and say "it's my fault but I forgot to put in your order and now it's past 12 and I can't serve breakfast so your orders not in but just don't worry about the drinks" we were so pissed off we obviously left now we still didn't eat we're an hour and half behind on travel wasted on this place also the tables remained dirty all around us for over 45 min just flies and food plates sitting out looked so dirty read more

Stuck in traffic after a detour off of the 15, we were so hungry we were getting shaky. So we pulled over and tried the Muddy River Bar. We got the double cheeseburger with bacon and onion rings. The burger meat was tasty, definitely worth an order. They didn't ask how we wanted it cooked, would have asked for medium rare, but it tasted so good even at the medium/medium well. And if you like crispy onion rings, this is the place to go! Perfectly crispy, yet not dry. The servers that helped us where very helpful and attentive. And yes the restaurant itself is bare bones but, we weren't expecting much from a small diner. It was clean and comfortable with good food, so 4 stars from me. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped by in the morning for breakfast on our way to Zion, and despite being one of the only places available between Vegas and Utah, they go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The food was pretty good, but what impressed me even more was their friendly and very polite customer service, along with their attention to detail. From the high chairs being turned out so you can easily slide into them to the utensils neatly laid out for each guest, the neatness of this place is truly inviting. When I hiked near here in the fall, the restaurant was closed. Being in the area to visit the Warm Springs Natural Area and the Moapa Valley Wildlife Refuge, we decided to stop here for lunch before heading back to Las Vegas. We enjoyed the murals on the west side of the building before we went in. We took seats and a server brought us menus quickly. She also took our drink order. We both decided to get the Muddy burger, an open faced burger topped with chili, cheese, and diced onion. With the burger, you have a choice of side. My friend got Cole slaw and I got fries. After a short time, the large plates arrived with a lot of food. The chili was very good and the burger was such a change from the normal cheese, lettuce, tomato and bun top. There is a bottom bun underneath the burger. I was certainly in carb city with all this. This was not the day to get dessert! I was full. Our server was one of the most pleasant persons I have had in a long while. She was just super. I wish I had gotten her name so I could give her a better shout out here. I first saw this small, older, country bar and grill the first time I was in this area over 15 years ago. In the kitchen Rob Is preparing the all the food fresh, and full of flavor. From the simple Muddy Breakfast (eggs, choice of meat, potatoes, toast) to the amazing huevos rancheros with Chile Verde, and everything in between, you can't go wrong. This was a great place to stop for a morning meal between Las Vegas and St. George! The menu was full of pretty standard breakfast options but the portions were hearty. It's kind of a hole in the wall, but very clean and well kept. Service was good, not great, but they were very busy and a little short-staffed, so they were doing what they could. I roll that way. Main course was a bacon cheeseburger with cheddar and it was juicy. Juices spilled down my front juicy. Waffle fries dipped in ranch were outstanding and hot and crispy.
