Believe it or not this was a cup of clam chowder and side salad. Both were excellent.

Excellent service and food. Couldn't believe the size of the cup of clam chowder. The chowder was one of the best clam chowder I've ever had. Between the chowder and salad I had to take the club to go.

Food is okay, staff seemed to be shorthanded. Hey, it's a desert out there - not much around to choose from. Just don't expect too much.

6 of us (camping at Valley of Fire) stopped in for lunch and we're all pleased with the food, service & price. We'll be back.

Posh hipster burger joints in the city, TAKE NOTE! I've heard "oh we don't do gluten-free buns, we…read moredo things the old-school way" far too many times from you people. You know who you are. CABLP is about as old-school as it gets, located in the middle of nowhere Nevada, & they do gluten-free buns. With no fuss. Take note. After riding all day through the Valley of Fire, we were hungry & wanted a classic burger dinner. CABPL was the correct choice. Kind staff, clean joint, reasonable prices. The burger didn't knock my socks off, but I didn't need it to. I just wanted a good burger. They provided exactly that & on a gluten-free bun to boot. Loved the thinly sliced fries, too. I don't know if I've ever had fries quite like them before, & they were super enjoyable. Well worth the stop!

"Ya wanna Pizza me!"…read more Pizza me, you wanna this is the motto of this restaurant. Owned by the famous magician. Master of ceremonies in magic and illusion, Chris Angel! He has constructed a great place to dine among family, friends, and colleagues. The menu is simple and easy but still one the top with something you would expect from strip dining in Las Vegas; but we are in the small town of Overton. It's truly magic but it's made by the staff here, let's pizza and it's in front of us. Wow after a long day hiking that pizza makes it all better and fills the soul . For this being a small town place it's definitely a great choice to stop if you're in the area . The pizza is really good. What kind of joy do you do? The inspiration here is magic ? You can see it in the eyes of the employees since they are not empty . They love what they do . The love from the locals for their place to come and gather together . It's a happy happy place. We got to share in this moment and ambiance that "the magician" has made for us all . Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece of artwork with the public. Art can come in many shapes and why not good food . The people that serve the food provide the brush strokes of happy for all the world to see. You have to have the cookie pizza it's truly the greatest thing that would happen in the world. Cookies and whipped cream can save the world and change lives. It did ours making us flutter and and happy yet again. Thank you to the staff for your kindness and love.

Drinks: FINE, YOU?: It's an Old Fashioned and it was delicious. PIPER'S CHOICE: My wife likes her Espresso Martini creamy and a little bit on the sweeter side. This has more of a stiffer espresso forward taste which kinda put her off. Apps: CRISPY CHICKEN SKINS: Fried chicken skin with honey dip? Who knew that would work!? My wife and I loved it. "DEVIL'S" EGG: First time trying caviar and I think it pairs pretty well. BACON BURGER: My daughter finished it I'd say she like it! Main Course: BACON BURGER: My daughter got this and it was a thumbs up. No notes. COCOA-ESPRESSO NY STRIP: Nice sear crust with a perfect medium-rare. Great flavor with no burnt after-taste from the crust. SHORT RIB STEAK: The meat itself is very tender but with the pepperoncini it got my head scratching . When I think of pepperoncini I'm thinking of Italian subs or pizza? Does it work? I guess? They put the check inside a softcover novel which is pretty cool. In the pages were notes/comment from patrons. Could't help myself and got in on the fun!

I got dirctions from the Yelp app and was soon at the golf club. The restaurant is quite nice. There is patio dining and great views of the fairway(s). After looking over hte menu, I ordered the chili verde omelette. The omelette has Pork chile verde, pepperjack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, topped with pepperjack cheese and chile verde. The sour cream and guacamole are in small cups so you can use what you want. You have a choice of toast. I got rye toast. Butter for the toast is served separately in small plastic containers for those who want dry toast. The omelette also comes with some hash browns. I was served coffee shortly after I was seated and it was refilled once and I was asked about a second refill. It was a wonderful breakfast and made my drive to Mesquite a tasty place. The Grille gets 5 stars especially for the service. My server, Jessica, was delightful and so pleasant. I'm not in Mesquite often, but I would stop here another time for a meal.
