Tu Ka Khan...in the Paiute language, means "place to eat". This morning, I came to this place to eat buttermilk biscuits smothered in country gravy with a side of eggs, sunny side up. The egg came separate, but I like to put it on top and have the golden yolk drip all over the luscious gravy. For a truck stop place called Moapa Paiute Travel Plaza on the corner of I-15 and The Valley of Fire, on the way to Lake Mead... it's remote. When you drive in, the outside building has a Casino sign, and you have to drive around to the side. Around back, there's no signage. You have to enter the truck stop store to find the restaurant inside, among all the souvenir trinkets and food stop stuff. It's out of the way, but you shouldn't skip breakfast. So have a great day.

I went here after working at a remote communications site in Moapa. The server was very friendly, the restaurant is clean and the Philly wrap was AMAZING. I will definitely be back.

Last minute camping trip at Valley of Fire and we were too lazy to cook at camp so we drove here... the only food place in the area turned out to be not a bad choice! Such an extensive menu for just an eatery inside a gas station / convenient store / liquor store. We got a tuna melt, a burger, and their sampler platter. Tuna melt was delicious. The burger was okay and the sampler platter was okay. Service was great.

I rarely give 5 stars and truly didnt expect much from a gas station/casino/gift shop meal but it was incredible from the moment i stepped in I was greeted by a friendly waitress who apparently loves her job, loves life and was a breathe of fresh air! The food... huge portions and so satisfying. The resturant is so incredibly clean too. I just have nothing bad to say about this place! Even the bathrooms are well done. (And they have a sharps container!) Well done

Really awesome place Great prices. Rapid service Surprisingly not salty and not greasy. Long open hours and great for a meal while passing to and from the valley of fire.

    Excellent patty melt!

My work requires that I'm in the area often, so I eat here regularly. The food ranges from OK to pretty good. Hey, it's a truck stop diner. What do you expect? However, today my granddaughter and I both got the patty melt. I'm glad she did because she verified my feelings about it: simply outstanding! We both agreed that it's just about perfect. Crispy, cheesy, gooey, seasoned just right. I can't think of a more perfect way to ruin all the hard work a hiker from the Valley of Fire puts in than this thing of beauty. Service is always good here, too.

Don't be fooled that it's inside a Chevron , with gift shop, and Casino.

Absolutely fantastic, I found this place is it in the Chevron, Casino Kama convenience store. My wife had the chicken alfredo pasta and I had the beef burrito that turned out to be steak. It was fantastic

I thought this is a hole-in-a-wall restaurant which would add some taste for the day trip to Valley of Fire. My group stepped in this service station/market without much expectation for food as they don't really show any sign outside. Menu was nothing special. However, this nothing-special feeling and their "we serve food and customer don't leave hungry" attitude was favorable and somehow nostalgic. Each serving had plenty of food. Again, it is a great breakfast stop alongside of I-15. This place won't be a purposefully destination by itself, but it is a good to stop when driving I-15 with empty stomach.

Excellent service by Scott. A lovely dining room and cute dishware. Next, we had smoke salmon toast $24 and Super Food Salad $19. I loved that salad, it was full of all the delicious things! Salmon toast, so yum, served on an amazing bread. $6 for a side of excellent, skin-on fries. We sat at the bar and Mary took wonderful care of us. Our family went for brunch. The four of us had beignets $10, traditional eggs benedict $24, side of bacon $8, side of hash browns $5, build your own burger $24, Henry breakfast $24, fresh orange juice $7 and a coke zero $7. All of the eggs were cooked perfectly. They make amazing hash browns, like a potato cake! Thick and tasty bacon. The hollandaise was done expertly! My son said the burger was really delicious. Abdiel provided friendly and attentive service. Our final (sad face) meal was Steak and Eggs $40. Sounds expensive but it was a ribeye steak! Eggs and potatoes too! Nicely charred and well seasoned. 40 bucks for a ribeye meal! Had to try the french dip sandwich $25. I had just watched Danny the Medic on YouTube enjoy one so yeah, it's an excellent sandwich. Flavorful and plentiful! Abel was friendly and efficient. Though we have played and eaten at the Cosmo for years, we never stayed here until this trip. The Henry is everything I love about old Vegas. On property breakfast and lunch. A nice, comfortable restaurant with reasonable prices for this quality of cuisine. Excellent team of servers, hosts and table support. Mahalo Henry!

Food is made fresh to order so you will have to wait longer than usual which is good because you know it hasn't been sitting under a heat lamp. I definitely loved what we ate, but would probably skip the Triple Play. The spinach dip tasted a little different, I wish it had more cheese and I wish the salsa was the same size as the guacamole. The drinks were so yummy and the best thing was the Rigatoni Bolognese, so much flavor, so much meat sauce! They definitely were generous on the portion size which is rare and definitely worth what you're paying for. Out of all the restaurants here, this one is my favorite. And I finally got to visit 1.5 years ago and fulfilled my promise of bringing my buddy here today. Today we got the following during Happy hour: My usual Amber. My buddy's usual IPA. And too many glasses of Double IPA... Onion Rings - Good, but not much quantity. Fried Pickles - Good, and with generous quantities. I did not finish. Lots of breading for both dishes. Brunch is also available. See their website. Atmosphere - Love the huge indoor/outdoor space, see pictures. But both my buddy and I said AC would be nice. My last visit in January '25 was NOT this hot. Plenty of bar, table seating. TVs for entertainment and of course, for sports. Gaming available, but not today. Well I am sure they have gaming if you sat at the bar which we did but still did not play. On my birthday, August 21st, I arrived at this Rampart location with specific details in my…read morereservation stating our need for wheelchair accessibility. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the elevator was broken, as informed by the staff. We had two friends who required ADA accommodations: one in a wheelchair and the other who could not walk long distances. We were left with two options: a table in the front lobby, where everyone walks in, providing no privacy, or seating outside. It was 5 PM, and the temperature in Las Vegas was scorching over 100 degrees. Why would I choose to sit outside, especially with two guests who have mobility challenges? Moreover, the server informed us that there were no mist machines outside, which was an insult. The simple solution would have been to call or text us to inform us that the elevator was broken, especially since one of the servers mentioned that it had been broken for a few days. A simple call would have given us time to find another restaurant that could accommodate our needs. However, it was a Friday in Las Vegas, and making a last-minute reservation was challenging. We decided to stay and dine in the lobby near the butcher shop, where we were again seating in the open, lacking privacy. The manager did came over and comped two appetizers, which was appreciated, but it did not resolve the issue. A restaurant should be ADA accessible at all times, and if it is not, they should inform the guests especially if specific accommodation was mentioned in the memo of the reservation. One of our friends, who cannot walk far distances, had to struggle to go up the stairs to use the restroom, causing her muscles to cramp up and other issues. As a local and frequent visitor to this location, this experience has made me question whether we will return. It left my guest, who came to celebrate my birthday, feeling like they were an inconvenience and burden
