I love love love this place. It's as close to Jersey bagels as I have found. The bagels are the stars here. Crispy outside and soft inside. They have seeds on both sides too ! I love this place so much! The bagels are fresh, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Also their coffee is delicious! I got a mocha latte and it is one of the best around. Ordered two breakfast bagel sandwiches on a Saturday more than an hour in advance. Even went to CVS across street to burn up some time. Wife's first visit and she went in when the status changed on her order. Someone behind the counter yelled at her to wait for her text. Bunch of high school kids with no manners. I know the place is busy, but don't treat your customers like that and then ask for a tip when you pay. So finally she gets the text to pick up. She goes in and asks for her order. They look around and the guy in the back says they lost it and it will take another 25 minutes. She cancelled as we had to be somewhere. I know the place is busy on a Saturday morning, but the order was placed well in advance, paid for and she got the text that it was ready. I have been here on a weekday morning and it's not such a Zoo. They need to rethink the system and remind their young staff a gratuity is for good service, not someone yelling at a customer to wait for the text. They are lucky they are in Franklin and not in Cambridge where there is competiton. read more

I love bagels so this place hits! First time going this morning with my boyfriend and we will go again! It's a cute little sandwich shot feel but they specialize in breakfast sandwiches which seems like. The service was friendly and we were greated with smiles even though they were super busy at 7:30AM on a Monday! It was clear we were at a good spot. I got a Cinnamon Raisin Bagel with Cinnamon cream cheese and the cream cheese was a little sweeter than I expected but I still loved it and it was a great bagel. My boyfriend got the Spartan with everything on it and he said it was amazing but the only downside was that due to the type of sandwich it was with the cold cuts on it, it got super messy, and it would have been better on a sub roll. Though, that is not an option here, and its definitely a preference thing because Imm not sure I would have minded it as much as him, but either way it was great food. The coffee.. wow, unbelievable is all i could say leaving this bagel shop. And not in a positive way. i had heard from many people that the service was not great and the owner defensive and angry, but this time i got to see it firsthand. My takeout order was missing three items so i called right away, telling them id like credit which they would not do. i told them i couldnt come back for the items that day, so i was told to come in a day or two, which i did. I told the owner/manager? what happened and she scolded me for not coming back the same day and that going forward, she would not reimburse. She gave me a couple of stale bagels, to make it right. Which obviously it did not do! I had to throw them away. Customers should visit the bagel shop in canton, only 20 minutes away, where the bagels are delicious and the workers are attentive and caring. read more

I was in Franklin for business and looking for breakfast. I saw a DD on my way in, but I like to patronize LOCAL businesses . I'm not a chain restaurant guy. I found Elizabeth's Bagels and I was stoked. As soon as I walked in I was greeted at the counter with a hello and a smile. The bagels looked amazing and the aroma was making my mouth water. The place was busy and everyone was hustling. I placed my order and stepped to the side wall. I watched as the staff cranked out the orders. I was impressed with the organized system. One young lady called out my coffee, and then a gentleman called out my bagel. I was out the door with a fresh hot combo. I would of taken pictures to include with this , but I dove in. The Bagels are good but Rhode Island has much better bagels. I am sure closer to Boston as well. One of the most disappointing things about this place is your servant, gourmet bagels, and don't surf gourmet tea, or Coffee. So in my book this is a do not visit place. This place needs help. Food has gotten progressively worse throughout the years, bacon is definitely just cheap microwaveable bacon. Elizabeth's has been our go to place for bagels since the 90's. They never disappoint, fresh, soft, chewy, perfect in every flavor. Their different flavors of cream cheese are fabulous, sandwiches amazing, and my dogs love their treats. I did curbside pickup today and it was so easy. I placed my order for bagels last night and scheduled my pick up for this morning. They sent a text when my order was ready, I called when I arrived, had my order in a few minutes. This place is awesome. I would gladly choose this place for bagels over dunkin donuts or honey dew any day! These bagels are always fresh and delicious - they taste wonderful. There are different kinds of cream cheese available too. Drinks here are ok, nothing special. 5 stars purely for the bagels! Franklin is lucky to have a place like this! If I lived a bit closer, I'd be there all the time.
