This is such a cute little cafe and coffee shop!!! My husband got a blueberry muffin top and it was delicious. I got a hot pumpkin latte and it was also delicious, but took way longer to come out than it should've. I think they may have briefly forgotten about my order as a couple people that came in after me got their drinks first. Was not a big deal at all, just giving my personal experience. Great cafe that lots of locals frequent. The coffee is brewed on the weaker side, but the taste is there and quite good. I've now tried the chocolate caramel truffle and regular decaf, both with oat milk. The baristas behind the counter are pretty good at figuring out how much milk you'd like and how sweet you want your coffee. They also have delicious pastries - namely the cinnamon rolls, twists, and muffin/muffin tops. Service was great and super quick. The women who run this cafe are super friendly and know a lot of the regulars/locals that stop by here regularly, so they're able to make natural conversation. Price wise, a medium iced drink here is about $3-5 and equates to a Starbucks large (venti), which can range from $5-8 depending on what you get. Obviously, prices are pretty great. Definitely recommend if it's on the way for you and you want to support local! read more

So, I decided to come here multiple times (20x actually) before writing my review. Here is what I have to say: I e ordered a cappuccino a dozen times and only three times did it come out as I asked... HOT. Only five times did the person taking the order understand what "a dash of milk and the rest foam" or "no milk, just foam" mean. This is to say my adjustments, albeit a bit fussy change to my normal large cappuccino order was my attempt at getting a hot cappuccino. Overall the coffee is a bit weak. Muffin House uses Red Barn coffee and it is brewed a bit richer, the way I like it. The bags of coffee beans for sale are a bit pricey, but if you want to support local businesses, I guess that's what you get. The breakfast sandwiches here are mediocre. It's eggs whites only, which means 40% of the egg's protein is missing, and most probably the egg whites come from a carton, which goes against the whole "local" concept (there are plenty of chicken farms around here, get some local eggs, y'all!!!) The muffin tops are spectacular. It's the best parts of a muffin, without the excess calories or food waste. If you come here, you must try them. The employees here are generally very nice, especially the women who have been voter-eligible for more than one election cycle. This place is very convenient, and it's not Dunks, so I'll continue to patronize here, but please teach your employees how to make a cappuccino properly! read more

Almost a great experience. Have been here more than 20 times. The staff is hit or miss with lots of immaturity. They are exceptionally rude on the phone. They have a lot of competition with chains and local coffee shops but refuse to keep the grill open past 11:59am. This has meant I no longer include them as an option as this has lead to being burned many times. They will actually close the grill even earlier if they feel like it. Overall highly unreliable and never consistent. They sell the exact same product every where else so nothing special there. read more

Just a mile off highway you'll find this gem of a spot with super friendly staff, coffee shop and a garden center. Even though they don't have a full-service restroom, I can vouch for the port-a-potty they do have--it's the cleanest one in the United States, hands down. read more

The service here is beyond horrible! They literally have no system behind the counter for servicing customers it's a total free for all. It's a shame because it's a cute local place. I've given them 3 tries since moving here and each time the people behind the counter are more frustrating to deal with than the last time. Maybe they should spend some time in Starbucks or DD and learn how to create a system for waiting on customers. One person rings, one person takes orders, one person makes the orders etc.... Not that hard. Will not go back here simply because of the terrible customer service and lack of organization behind the counter. The only reason I gave them an extra star is because their muffin tops, those are yummy, but not worth the aggravation of dealing with the staff. read more

While this isn't my favorite coffee spot, I know a lot of people sure like it. For some reason their Coffee just doesn't do it for me. It has a lot of potential but they have limited coffee selections and I've found it to be kinda bitter even with regular cream and sugar . I have passed this location several times since my daughter bought a home in Upton a few months ago and finally stopped it's a very inviting exterior with plenty of parking at least in the winter! The special was a cinnamon bun latte...totally up my alley and it didn't disappoint! Delicious start to my day! Staff was friendly and efficient. Several bakery options for a treat are available. I drive past 2 Dunkins and one Starbucks on my 10 minute commute to the office. However I will gladly go out of my way and sit in traffic to get my Red Barn fix at Angel's Cafe in the morning. Weekends are my favorite there - just last Sunday I leisurely strolled in, sat out front with my dog, then wandered over to chat Christmas trees with the owner of Angel's Garden Center with a piping hot Chai in hand. Super nice people, the girls in the cafe are always happy, the best coffee... so grateful this little gem is just up the road! PS - please stock more decaf macadamia hazelnut beans-to-go for us peeps that can't have toooooo much caffeine. My favorite decaf on the planet! read more

Very cute place, convenient and quick. While they get the job done, the young staff are not very friendly. One of the ladies working this morning (7/7/19) needs to do Safe Serve training again (or whatever it is called)...applying chapstick at the food counter, or anywhere in the place, touching your lips repeatedly after, and then serving food is unsanitary. The ladies that work here are incredibly friendly - they know my order whenever I go in (even though I sometimes confuse them when I want iced coffee without logic). It's also really cute inside for sitting and enjoying, with outside tables as well. Unfortunately, I rarely have time to use these. Recently stopped in this place to get some reading done for my NCLEX exam. The place is small so the tables are also small high top tables. They do have one breakfast nook but I didn't feel right taking the whole table to myself. The coffee was delicious and the pastry was good though I wish they had more choices in pastry. Have been coming here a lot lately. One of the better coffee places around. Only one complaint. I got a large iced mocha with milk a couple of days ago. What I really got was choclate milk. I tasted no coffee at all just milk and a little chocolate. When I got home I had to empty half of the cup in the sink and make my own cup of coffee and add it in. Other than that it's a great little place to eat or get a muffin or bagel to go. The staff is really nice and friendly. Service is fast. I ordered a large Milky Way latte, and a banana nut muffin top for 7.47. The large latte was filled 1/4 of the cup with the rest empty space. I love the iced Milky Way at Angel's cafe. I'm not a coffee drinker, but when I need a lift in the afternoon, this does the trick. A shot of espresso is disguised by chocolate milk with swirls of caramel and chocolate syrup over ice. It tastes incredible!
