Had two front pipes break! They fixed the pipes and had my car back within an hour! Friendly people with good sense humor!

Called ahead to see how busy they were. I was asked the problem, told them wasn't sure if I had a hole in my muffler or the pipe was rusted out. I was asked when I could come up. I told him 4 pm, was told to come in then. I showed up at 3:45 and was taken in right away. The guy working there took a look at my vehicle and told me the pipe rotted out and the resonator needed repair. He said if I had time he do it right now and have done in half hour max. I am not leaving any stars. Since new people took it, has been the worst experience ever with them! They want me to pay cash only then refuse to provide a receipt. Then after I said not happening, they finally took my card but instead of using the card machine at the actual location, they called another store and gave my card number out to them. Like how is that even ok! Not to mention they charged me way more than the work I actually had done. 3 grand for something that should have cost me only 800. My husband brought his car up there for an oil change and had them look at it and the new owner told the guys to put a different type of oil in his car. Thankfully the guy working on his car said he wasn't doing that. Then the new owner told me it would take a long time to get my car back for something simple. I am so done with this place. I recommend everyone steer clear of this place!!! It has gone down hill big time. I'm ready to call corporate on these new owners and let them know what is going on! I went to Muffler Man on Thursday April 4th 2024. Joe was very nice, I told him about a noise I heard when turning the steering wheel a rubber sound. He checked my car out and got back to me the next day said he couldn't find anything but would check it a little further on the hoist, he called me the next day Saturday and said he couldn't find anything but steering wheel fluid was a little low. As much as I hate to take my car to the shop, this place makes it so much less painful. *Prices are fair - self explanatory *Work is done in a reasonable amount of time - I've had phone calls with estimates within 20 minutes of being dropped off at times. *Friendly and respectful - I've had bad experiences with creeper guys at other local shops making unsolicited and intrusive comments to me about "boyfriends" or other skeevy behavior... NOTHING like that here. Everyone has always makes me feel comfortable and informed. *Saturdays - they are open on them. And, one of the most important factors for woman taking her car to a shop, they are *HONEST - On more than one occasion they have called me to let me know that there is nothing wrong with my car and that the "noise" I hear is xx or yy. Have you picked your jaw up off the floor yet? This place has been here for a while so I'm surprised that it's never been reviewed... but I'll happily be the first. Since I moved back to the area 3 years ago, I've been looking for a shop I am happy with and in the last year and a half I've found it. I have used Muffler Man to have my struts replaced and my breaks done. I had a loud knocking sound under my SUV after the work was completed. They said it was my rear suspension and they do not do that kind of work there so they sent me some where else to have oil put in my rear differential. So that's what I did. Still had the knocking noise so I went back and told them that didn't seem to be the problem. I told them that the knocking was coming from the left side. They disagreed. They sent me to Ring and Pinion down the street. They guy there took my SUV for a test drive and found that my parking break line was not bolted down and was banging on my left tire. So back up to MUFFLER MAN I go. I tell them of these findings and the guy "Harold" wanted to just take off my parking break!! I questioned this and the final out come was that they finally put my SUV back together properly. Oh, but I have to mention that my break light now comes on every time I step on the breaks. So please beware Harold likes to think he knows what he is talking about he does so with such conviction. But he really doesn't have a clue! read more

THEY RIPPED ME OFF BIG TIME! I took my Honda ( which I've had for 7 years without any problems whatsoever) to this place to get new brakes. They told me I needed a Serpentine belt. I felt suspicious right away, but I went along with the repairs cause a snow storm was coming in about 2 days. 3 hours and $430 later I left the garage and went home. Literally 24 hours later the car starts acting g weird. Engine light comes on, and I can't get over 50 mph on the highway. Took it back to the garage, and of course they claim it has nothing to with what they fixed. Also now it suddenly needs another $800 in repairs!!! They refuse to give any money back! This is a good car I've driven 100,000+ miles with that NEVER let me down once. After one visit to this garage it suddenly needs alot of work?? DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS PLACE!!! read more

Usually I am a big fan of this place....have had a lot of work done here over the years.....unfortunately I will not be going back. I get there at 5:20 and was told they could not help me or even look at my vehicle because "they are getting ready to leave" remind you they close at 6pm. So as I pull and and leave they ALL are just standing around doing absolutely nothing.
