In this photo, you can see a 10 Oz delmonico steak that was overcooked. It was supposed to be medium, and the majority of it was fat added to this unsatisfied meal, My kids ordered burgers, and they were charred. The waitress took the meals back, and after a bit she brought back new cheeseburgers and my steak that I was not happy with and apologized, stating that the cook refused to cook me another steak and not to mention the kids medium cheeseburgers were yet over cooked again' this is not acceptable customer service this needs to be addressed in hopes in the future that the cook not only cooks the meals as asked correctly by the customer but also treats the custumers with respect with simple meal request.

I took the most beautiful woman here and we had steaks and spicy jelly, jalapeño poppers. The food was amazing.

Muhliesen would get 5 stars if they were open more often. On Mon. Tues and Weds. I have to go somewhere else or eat my cooking.

Stormin' Crab offers their blue crabs one of two ways: Either added as a side to any boil (topped with your favorite seasonings), or served as a fried crab basket. The oyster appetizer (sold as six or twelve) can be raw or grilled. I adore them raw, and these are Bluepoints! They were plump, glistening, and had a great sweet and briney flavor. My husband's gumbo was thick with rice and andouille sausage, with baby shrimp. It also had a powerful black pepper kick. Very tasty! The boil arrived on a stainless steel platter in a large plastic bag, ballooned out with steam. We had chosen the butter, medium spicy. I thought the saltiness overpowered the flavor of the seafood, but your mileage may vary. Combo C had so much food we took a third of it home! We really enjoyed our meal here!

Update: subtracting 1 star because my kid got sick from the oily food. Never again…read more The staff was so nice and the facility is very clean however we just didn't care for the food itself. We ordered the cajun mix for crawfish and snow crab and garlic butter snow crab. All the boils are doused full of butter flavored oil (not real butter) which didn't allow for any flavor to reach your tongue or the meat. I may be spoiled with real Louisiana and Texas crawfish and seafood boils but the oil was so unpleasant. The crawfish was oily, flavorless, and tasted dirty. The crab was probably presalted and just reheated in the boil. I asked for some cajun seasoning and salt to sprinkle on top but there was just too much oil. I am disappointed with this type of boil and hope I can find a more traditional type with no oil somewhere in Buffalo.

I had the eggs Benedict with home fries. The eggs Benedict was really good. Eggs were perfect and the sauce was nicely flavored. The home fries were not the best. They needed to be seasoned better and were under cooked. I'll give them a pass on those. Server was on top of everything and very friendly. I am eager to try them for lunch and dinner.

Their menu has what you'd expect from a classic diner, prices are cheap, and service is quick! We got the Country Style Eggs and Patty Melt. Both lacked basic seasonings like salt & pepper. If I was rating off the food alone, I'd give it a 3/5. The home fries in the Country Style Eggs could've been crispier and adding hot sauce definitely saved this a bit. The biscuit we got with it was homemade and so delicious. It was warm, buttery, and satisfying. The Patty Melt was a bit dry and desperately needed a sauce. I used ketchup and asked for pickles which helped. The rye bread was surprisingly not dry and grilled nicely with butter. It was definitely a heavy meal but we needed it after a long drive. It's not the kind of place where you'll have an amazing meal but it'll do the job at a super affordable price.

At first glance, I was a little hesitant about the building itself. It's very old, with no real signage, just "Chinese Buffet." The sushi was... okay. If you're looking for something more authentic, I'd recommend ordering a roll instead and telling them you want something authentic. Hopefully they will be as accommodating as they appear. What's out on the buffet seems geared more toward people who might not recognize good sushi if it slapped them in the face (lol). The Chinese food was decent and, surprisingly, not overly oily. I was honestly impressed, since lower-end Chinese buffets often have food swimming in oil, and this place didn't. I think a good makeover could really do this place justice. It's alright, not horrible. It could be a fun place for younger kids who want to try something new, but do not bring someone here on a date. Seriously. Don't do it. They also took our silverware half way through, they did not offer any knives to cut food with. I wanted to throw away napkins cause I had my child with me and not a trash can in sight!

The place has a warm, down-to-earth vibe that makes you feel right at home, like a true local favorite should. We specifically went back for the prime rib after reading someone mention how they prepared it just the way they liked -- we both ordered it seared and it was honestly the best prime rib I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and mouth watering. The prices were very reasonable, the portions were just right, and nothing felt overdone or pretentious. Also, don't skip the fried cheese curds -- they were amazing. If you're anywhere near the area, The Decoy is absolutely worth a stop (or two).
