Beautiful little place in town. Nice Atmosphere, and delicious food. We started with the baked feta and cauliflower. So good. Then the amazing Honey BBQ fried chicken sandwich. Every thing was fresh and food came out quickly. Friendly and efficient service from Joshua B. Would recommend and will be back.

I went there for lunch and spent 1 hour and 15 minutes for two salads, a burger and a wrap. It was busy and they only had 1 waiter on. He was doing a great job considering, but the wait was WAY to long and my wrap was totally burnt on the bottom. I can't believe that they sent it out of the kitchen that way! My lunch was being paid for by someone else and we had already waited almost 45 minutes to be served so I did not send my meal back. I will not be back any time soon nor do I have anything nice to say about the place. I think the ONLY reason they are still open is because they are the only "nice" place in Alfred. Do yourself a favor and drive to Hornell or Wellsville.

    Gnocchi in Pesto

Arrived for a very late lunch date with my fiancé on a Saturday to give this place a try. The decor was modern and appealing. It was relatively empty (it was a late lunch) and we seated ourselves. We soon got our menu and immediately saw they had Gnocchi in Pesto and that was amazing. I also had a delicious special soup. I was very full and sated. It may be a little pricey, but the Rosebush makes for a very nice upscale date. Next time, I like to try the Rose Burger, but if you don't know what to order, get the Gnocchi!

Burger was good, unripe tomatoe was discarded. Sweet potato fries were soft and mushy.

Definitely the best restaurant in town! Come here for a hot date, cold beer, and a decent burger.

Definitely a spot where you could linger for a while. Food-wise, we ordered the fried rice with crispy chicken (breaded in crushed Cheerios--yes, Cheerios, and yes, surprisingly delicious!), the bánh mì, and the crispy chicken sandwich, which ended up being the star of the show. Every bite of that sandwich was perfectly seasoned, crunchy, and satisfying. We upgraded our side to the greens, which came topped with some mysterious orange ingredient--maybe a grated carrot dressing? Whatever it was, it was scrumptious. We also ordered a side of pickles, which were surprisingly affordable and so flavorful that they disappeared fast. We didn't try any drinks, but the menu had plenty of interesting options to choose from. One of my favorite parts of the experience was how family-friendly the place felt: while we waited, the kids grabbed a new-to-us game (The Enchanted Forest) from the board game shelves, which made the time fly by. Service was attentive and friendly without hovering, and overall we had a fantastic experience. If we lived closer, this would be a regular lunch spot for sure!

I had the eggs Benedict with home fries. The eggs Benedict was really good. Eggs were perfect and the sauce was nicely flavored. The home fries were not the best. Their menu has what you'd expect from a classic diner, prices are cheap, and service is quick! We got the Country Style Eggs and Patty Melt. Both lacked basic seasonings like salt & pepper. If I was rating off the food alone, I'd give it a 3/5. The home fries in the Country Style Eggs could've been crispier and adding hot sauce definitely saved this a bit. The biscuit we got with it was homemade and so delicious. It was warm, buttery, and satisfying. The Patty Melt was a bit dry and desperately needed a sauce. I used ketchup and asked for pickles which helped. The rye bread was surprisingly not dry and grilled nicely with butter. It was definitely a heavy meal but we needed it after a long drive. It's not the kind of place where you'll have an amazing meal but it'll do the job at a super affordable price.
