After a day in Chinatown we wanted to see little Italy as well, lucky for us it was a quick walk, we got to take it some sights, but then it started raining so we wanted to find a place for a drink. My sister in law found this bar, and we were lucky to find a table for our whole group! We hung out and caught up, since we all live in different parts of the country. I enjoyed an expresso martini and aperol spritz, both were delicious and well made! I hope to make it back here and to little Italy one day when the weather is a tad better.

We came here before a dinner reservation to waste some time. At first I thought it was a cool old school bar that may be our new spot prior to dinner. However, that quickly changed. The staff was fine personality wise. I can't say that anyone was rude, but they were not incredibly attentive. One of my friends ordered a tap beer and when he tried it, he was let down. He thought it tasted like 3 different beers, maybe from not cleaning the tap often. He also had a small reaction to it, as the beer he specifically ordered doesn't give him a reaction, but most others do, kind of confirming the tap may not be cleaned regularly. He did let the staff know and they did take the beer off, which we thought was nice. We also ordered water and 3 cocktails. The cocktails were fine, but incredibly sugary and pretty small, almost having us questioning if there was much alcohol in it. I am not one for a strong drink, but for $15, I at least want to know I paid for a cocktail and not a soda. We never got the waters unfortunately, so I can't say much about that. They also took forever to give us the bill and take the bill to swipe our card. The atmosphere was fine. They had TV's with like 2000's mixes playing, which was fine for me. Definitely a fine bar if you want to pay a lot for a drink you aren't happy with and if you want possibly unclean tap beer. I don't plan on being back, especially with so many other bars in the area.

Bucket list stuff. I'm a big fan of Italian culture, food, and film. This spot has been in a number of films, including one of my favorites Donnie Brasco. To sit at the bar, sipping a whiskey, where Pacino and Depp had one of the greatest first meet scenes filmed,"... my mother can hold her head high in any neighborhood in this city, any borough, I'm known...,..." forget about it! David welcomed me at the door and we chopped it up about basketball shoes, marriage and movies. We talked like two dudes who went through Confirmation together. I had two double whiskeys. Bulleit. Smooth. I had plans for dinner but had to grab a snack. Had the meatballs and they were like a Noni had just made them. Sitting there I could feel the history of the bat and restaurant and neighborhood. I swear I lived before and grew up in this area. It felt like home and I can't wait to go back. If you stop in tell David I say hi!!

I've come here quite a few times - it's a homey experience every time. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the staff is super warm and friendly. The espresso martini has a true coffee flavor! Bloody Mary's are spicy, and well drinks are strong. Would recommend!

Wanted a quick lunch after the Tribeca Film Festival and decided to visit Mulberry Street Bar. We frequent the area and finally had a chance. It was a quiet afternoon and we dined outside. Great service and affordable lib prices. Food was delicious and flavorful. We would come back again .

Awesome neighborhood bar, great vibe, and friendly service. We stopped in prior to our reservations down the street for a few drinks. We sat at the bar and were greeted and well served by Larry. Although we didn't eat here all food that went by looked very good. It was the first bar we have visited here in New York that actually felt like a comfortable and casual vibe. The bar tender Larry was very welcoming and offered his opinions about area places to visit and things to do. Will definitely be back based on service and vibe alone!

We didn't have much while trekking through little Italy because it was over 100 degrees outside. We stopped in here just to have some pizza and some drinks and we're in for a treat! Garlic lovers, the Bella is amazing!! The bartender told us some very cool history about the bar as well. Many scenes in movies and television shows have been filmed here. It's definitely a cool place to check out.

P.S. This iconic place is now reopened!!!! It's going to be a great Summer!!!! Phenomenal only-in-New York kind of place. It's an old Tavern in NYC's Little Italy that has been there for over 100 years! It's a feel-good place that's welcoming and casual, cozy and welcoming. I'm not sure why it's listed as a "Dive Bar" on Yelp. It's not that. They serve brick oven pizza that doesn't disappoint and their eggplant rollatini is generous and delicious. The jukebox has all of the classic Italian standards (Sinatra, Dean Martin, Luis Prima, etc) as well as Disco tunes and the best of today's music. On Saturday night's, DJ Vinnie provides the best entertainment with his top notch music and karaoke tunes, he's a phenomenal host and a big draw to this very memorable one of a kind Italian clubhouse. Be sure to say hi to Enzo at the door and tip the pizza bakers that man the brick oven, it will be truly appreciated!

Only stopped by for lunch because there was not much of a crowd and looked like a cute little set up in little italy. Came and got seated quickly. The waiter was friendly but it felt like service was so slow. The fusilli with pesto sauce was pretty tasty. The pesto had a good creamy flavor, and fusilli was cooked al dente. The second entree was a spinach pizza. Let me just say, I usually don't eat the crust of pizza normally, and that the pizza I ever experienced is just way too oily. This pizza was eye opening. Fresh and delicious.

Came for drinks during an Italian fair week. The bar is really quick and the staff knows how to deliver. There is no inside seating-only standing bar tables, and the menu is nothing special.

A cosmopolitan at the most famous bar in NYC. The Godfather, Donnie Brasco, 9 & 1/2 Weeks all filmed here, just to name a few...

Probably the worst pizza in NYC. floppy, spongy, terrible sauce. Just terrible. Tourist trap.

Not worth your time or $$$. Years ago the ambience was charming full of history. Today it's just a mediocre bar with zero personality.

I will say that the music was good and kept the energy going, but this space is definitely a younger crowd. We came on a Friday, and it's free before midnight. It got extremely crowded on that weekend, to the point where there was not much space to even stand or walk. Extremely dark with some neon lights and sometimes flashing lights. Typical dance club vibe. Mostly standing space and almost everyone dancing. But since there is barely any space between you and other people, there is barely any space to really dance. The third floor seemed to have more standing space. The first two floors were the most packed. Multiple floors and each floor has a different DJ featuring a different vibe of music. At least if you don't like the music, you can move on to a different floor. Since it's super dark, and the stairs are straight up pitch black, I can see how someone could potentially have a difficult time seeing the stairs and climbing them. They should add some neon lights or something like it in the middle of the stairs for safety reasons. I did not enjoy the music selections the night that I went. But I heard the music here just depends on the night, it's different vibes, and they switch it up.
