Well, as yous know, getting four or five stars from me is not an easy feat. However, when I do have an experience that leaves me happy I must express my joy - this was my recent experience at Mule & Elk! It started with the monthly movie night. It was on Friday, after sundown, so sabbath had started. I talked with Shawna, and asked if it was ok for us to come even though we would not be buying anything. She was so gracious, told us to come, and while we were here, made us feel welcome! I promised we would be back! Today, we decided to go for lunch! We were greeted by the sweetest girl, with a beautiful genuine smile! Kaylie took great care of us, even sharing her favourites on the menu! We didn't feel like strangers though this was only our second time being here and we had never met her. Lunch was grand! They are definitely growing and stretching their repertoire, which is lovely. They have brilliant pub grub, while maintaining an eclectic variety of options that make you want to try them all. Hubby had the classic cheese toasty and tomato soup! I had a caprese sandwich and a cup a soup. It was all quite tasty. One of the great things I like about this place is they want to make it family friendly, more like a true pub (like I'm used to in Ireland), less like a bar or tavern! They are trying some new and exciting things to bring options to the community! It's not too loud or overwhelming, it is nice and bright during the day and pleasant in the evening. I look forward to seeking what this wee brew pup has to offer in the future!

This is probably the best place to stop in Cle Elum. The people here are so friendly and the spot is great. We had three families with young kids and it was so easy to hang out. We saw other families stopping too and they had a blast with the outdoor jenga among other things. The beer they serve is really good, it made us want to keep coming back for more. "The Devil" is something I wish more breweries would do, it is so rare to find a strong blonde ale. The food is great too. The vegetable plate it huge and has a lot that you won't find in other places. Pretzels are so good, though they could dial the cheese down on the jalapeno cheese pretzel. We will definitely be coming back again.

A group (4) of us stopped into Mule & Elk for a beer while in the area. Free street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Indoors is nice sized for a brewery. A large projection screen is mounted on the wall. Light bites are available to order and eat with your beer. Orders are placed at the counter. Table service isn't offered. My wife had a couple Liberty Golden's for $5 each. I had a couple Cooper Lake IPA's for $5 each. I didn't see that Mule & Elk canned beer could be purchased to-go. Interaction with staff was minimal but friendly.

Love this cute little brewery! We all got flights to try many of the brews they offer and it did not disappoint! I love their little serving boards for the flights and they also offer some snacks as well. We got a jalapeño pretzel (not pictured) and it complemented the beer perfectly.

Nice brewery! They have a lot of space, both inside and out. Looks like they also have live music some nights. I had the English beer, it was really good nice and refreshing! Definitely a perfect place to go to on these hot summer nights. I'd definitely recommend a stop by!

The brewery is super cute, family and pet friendly. The atmosphere is great and there is lots of inside and outside seating. Although we didn't love the beer we tried, I would come back and give this place another shot. It just seemed like a really great place to stop in, highly suggest trying it out if your staying in or around Cle Elem.

Husband really enjoyed the blonde and I really liked the dark and mild. It's a dark beet that drinks very light. If you are a dark beer lover you could drink it all day. They have a very cute patio which would be lovely if it were not 110 degrees out! Cute place worth stopping by!

Hop off the highway for this cute brewery. Google maps had us going in circles, but it's right on the main road. They were out of most beers because of a Rodeo, but of what we sampled, it was good brews.

I upon entering, you are greeted with tables on the left side of the dining room, and a bar on the right side. It's probably seating for 40, and there are a large number of TVs for the size of the space. We stopped in on an evening when the Seahawks were playing, so it worked out very well! The bar is about two steps up from a dive, and had a nice array of nonalcoholic options in addition to the standard, small town, alcohol fare. The food was quite good, and pretty straightforward. It's pretty standard bar type food, with a couple of nice burger options, a couple salads, and a couple other fried options. We ended up with a number of different burgers, and a couple of salads. Everything was made when we ordered it, and was really good size for the price. Our waitress took really good care of us, and everybody left full and very happy with the decision to stop in! They're honestly was nothing we didn't enjoy it. The food, the service, the overall vibe and the price. We're all exactly what we were looking for. This is definitely a spot. We will be back to, and was a big win for the evening!

A brewery, not on my radar? Could it be possible?... Well, as I'm learning my way around the PNW, I'm finding all kinds of gems, that my sometimes messed up radar didn't pick up. Lol The kicker was having the best pastrami Sando ever, at the Red Bird Cafe, along with a great selection of beers, there was Roslyn Brewery! Of course, ya gotta know the choice I made to drink with my yummy sando? Roslyn brewery Brookside Pale Lager, cool and crisp with tasty Lager flavors.. pale Lager? You might ask? Didn't you mean Pale Ale? So I was thinking as well, but nope, they make a pale lager, very well to boot. So, of course by this time, I'm hoping on Yelp search for this Roslyn Brewery... What!! It just a hop, skip, and a jump from the Red Bird Cafe, so being the beer adventurer I am, I made the hop, skip, and a very excited jump over to Roslyn Brewing, another sweet little place in Roslyn, small inside, but a big area for outside sitting, but definitely at a balmy 30 degrees, it was close quarters at the bar. Great atmosphere, friendly service, just pouring beers.. although they have a great cider menu and wines.. it was definitely a beer drinking crowd. Next time I'll definitely try some of the tasty looking cider choices they offer. Of course, loving the red, I tried the Red Lager.. Yum! I wish they had it in cans.. I would have taken a bunch home. I also tried the Bullfrog IPA, delicious, as well.. a little darker than most IPAs I've had, but full flavor, not over hoppy. I also took a bottle of each of the Pale Lager and a Dark Lager, looking forward to trying them at home as well as return visits to Roslyn and Roslyn brewery. Well worth the beautiful drive over Snoqualmie Pass. Happy Yelping, God bless and a big Cheers!

This place is bookstore/coffeehouse/restaurant/bar in the cute little town of Roslyn…read more I wandered in around 4:30pm. I checked out the bookstore part first. They have a cool selection of books, and a lot of gift type things like tea, stuffed animals, bookmarks, art supplies, etc. I noticed the dinner menu and decided a cheeseburger sounded good. I ordered the Basecamp cheeseburger with bacon and a side salad. You can apparently order food upstairs and then sit upstairs or downstairs (or outside, I think). They have table service as well, after 4pm. Service was very friendly and patient. I decided to eat downstairs, and there was a cozy bar and large seating area. My burger soon arrived and it was delicious! A great toasted bun and a wonderfully substantial and beefy patty. The cheese was rich and gooey. Great, yummy combination of flavors. The salad was good too, with a nice ranch dressing on the side. A cool place that made me feel welcome and served up a great burger.
