Let's face it ,how can you trade in a car with the engine check light on and 176,000 miles nor drive it to a dealership holding your breath the car won' t stop! I went on line and had several quotes from junkyard people of $180, $308, and $480. I have taken good care of my car, oil checks on time and always asked my mechanic if anything needed to be fixed. I called Max Auto Wrecking to get a quote and a service person happened to be in my area today and stopped by to give me a quote! I really felt he was honest, checked my car out and gave me a price of $700 which I felt was fair and took the car away on the spot!. The cord sold to me was wrong type at a cost of $250.00 When I went to return a week later in the original box not used. They then decided to tell me no returns on cord. So, they off loaded wrong cord to me to begin with and then instead of refunding or offering a credit on store items, they stuck me with some dusty cord box that they probably tried to off load for months. Total Shysters! Stock store items way more than a simple purchase of same item online.

Consumers pay California Redemption Value (CRV) when they purchase beverages from a retailer. The beverage container recycling program was created in 1986. Refunds are now by weight of the materials, instead of by the size of a container, as the Assembly Bill originally called for. The program includes aluminum cans and glass & plastic bottles. Check the label to see if a container is eligible for CRV, as some beverage containers are not eligible (milk, food, wine, spirits, etc.). The container will say CA Redemption Value, California Cash Refund, CA CRV or CA Cash Refund. A-1 Metals also sells salvaged used auto parts.
