Horrible experience. No one at this dealer is on the same page about anything, nor are they motivated to make a sale. At multiple points in the transaction, the value of my trade in went up to a number agreeable based on market comps, other dealers, carmax/carvana, etc. but then was lowered without reason. At one point, they were offering me $6,000 less than a competing Buick dealer on my trade in. Agreed to buy the car at one price, was sent a quote at a price thousands of dollars higher. Tried to get in contact with a manager. Crickets. When Donald finally decided to reach out, it was to argue with me, not try to sell a car that he has sat on for 313 days. read more

I feel so bad for anyone that has to deal with this shop. The world's worst customer service. Got my truck back 3 months after it broke down. Stowasser could not do much to diagnose the problem beyond replacing the 12 volt repeatedly. It took GMC corporate handholding them on how to swap a traction battery. They made it abundantly clear they don't want to work on EV's at this MAGA operation. STAY. AWAY. When I got my truck back, not only was the software not updated to the latest release which I was assured would be done by Jose, but they returned my truck in non operation condition as one of the daytime running lights had failed. Truck was returned unwashed without everything put back together. Stowasser failed to provide me any documentation on the repairs conducted. If you break down and are forced to go to this shop, Use GMC's reunite program to have your vehicle towed back to a dealer that actually knows how to fix a GMC product in a timely manner. Bring your EV here if you want to lemon it because it will take them longer than 30 days to figure out what's wrong. read more

I was in the process of buying a used truck from this dealership. We had agreed on price. They asked that I fill out their credit application to get preapproval to make the process quicker once I got to the dealership that is 5 hours away. On 3/5/26 I was told that I was approved, I was even told to start making my plans and what time I would be there on Sunday. I made plans around that and was under the impression that the vehicle was essentially reserved for me. Alex was going to call me today 3/6/26 to go over the approval but then proceeds to inform me that the truck has been sold. So now I get to walk away with nothing but an inquiry on not only my credit report but my wife's as well. This felt very unprofessional and like a complete waste of my time. If a customer is approved and told a vehicle will be ready for pickup, the dealership should honor that. I would have appreciated basic courtesy and transparency in being told they would not hold the vehicle whether approved or not. Overall, this experience left a bad impression, and I would be hesitant to trust this dealership again. read more

They were excellent at communicating the vehicle details and numbers with me in a swift and professional manner. On the day of delivery they reminded me of my appointment time and kindly accommodated me when I needed to move it up one hour. As I arrived at the Dealership my Denali was right up front, detailed sparkling clean and ready to go. Alex introduced me to Dave in the office to complete the necessary paperwork. Dave is very professional explaining everything in detail to help you to make good decisions without pressure. Buyer beware, we attempted to use Stowasser as a host for our GMC repurchase. We spent hours deciding on which truck to purchase. Our salesman was fairly new. However,the manager assured us he would over see the transaction. We after multiple emails ,text messages, and phone calls. Stowasser was unwilling to hold my truck while waiting for approval from General Motors. Stowasser called me on Saturday to ask if I heard anything from GM. I asked that they wait until Monday for GM answer. They were unwilling to wait due to the inventory shortage and sold my truck to someone else. Don't waste your time with these guys. I wasted a week. Who was with the tech when this info was passed on to me in Feb 2019. For you, to make note of the fact, I was not charged for the inspection done on March 4th 2019. An inspection was done on Feb 13th 2019, when i brought the car into your dept. For oil change and tire rotation. At the cost of $73.51. At which time,I was told, that due to their inspection to call and make an appointment To have the front engine seal replaced and that it was under warranty. I made this appt. And explained what the appt. Was for. Was told it would be a 2-3 day job. Why,Mr Stowasser would you have any reason to charge me? Then for you service manager Ruiz Rob, to debate your Companys issues on social media representing you, Was very rude and unprofessional. I was contacted privatley by a GM service manager who read my story and understood my concerns. He was professional e ough not to do it on social mefia. His dealship, has offered at No Charge,to put a dye in the engine, and have me drive it for a few weeks. Then they will put it under a uv light to check for leaks, at No Charge. I will then have the peace of mind regarding my $35,000 investment. A very simple solution for this issue, that your Service Dept. Manager should have been able to handled. Especially,since I was test driving a New Canyon when this inspection was taking place. I will upday my social media pages with the name of this GM dealership who has graciously offered their assistance. With the outcome. Peace of mind is all I was looking for. Took my 2016 2500HD in for service (41k) on truck for the owners manual 45k recommended service. The shop didn't complete GMC required service, although Stowasser charged me for a complete service. I've tried this dealer over the years, hoping service would change. But after 8 years I believe they will not change because the rot must be at the top of this buisness. This place will rip you off in sales and in their service department. I've been in the area for awhile now and everyone I know has had bad service with these guys. I am conflicted with my feelings towards Stowasser. I was super excited when I began the process of looking for my new car. Ivan reached out to me right away and I was very excited to find out they didn't have the "hidden dealer mark-up" like most of the dealerships have right now. Came in, test drove my car, loved it, moved forward buying it. This was the longest process ever. I was pre-approved through Sesloc but they "had trouble with the Sesloc system" saying their system wasn't secure so Stowasser had to stop everything until it was fixed, not a huge deal but I sat there for over an hour just waiting. Then the finance guy said it was something with the internet not a system security issue (idk whatever). I get my car and 4 hours later it dies in the middle of the freeway. 4 HOURS!!!! They were great about sending a tow truck and getting me a rental car. Turns out my alternator was bad so they replaced that and my battery at no charge (I was glad I didn't have to ask). But, it bothered me when the mechanic guy said it was possibly due to me hitting a bump...um, I'm a girl, but I'm not dumb . Finally, I go pick up my car and I ask if they can give me a dealer plate since the tags are expired. The DMV lady told me they couldn't, but I wouldn't get a ticket because the sticker inside the window would let the cops know I just bought the vehicle. Well, that would be the case if I had a sticker!!! My sales guy NEVER the dmv sticker inside my window! So, I was driving around on expired tags...seriously, I can't make this stuff up!! And the icing on the cake, they never even filled up my gas tank (I know that's not mandatory, but it's absolutely an extra perk when you first buy a car)!! read more

An update on the situation- I took my vehicle to another dealership service department, had the check engine light diagnostic done, they found the problem and fixed it all under warranty no questions asked. Would have been so easy to keep my business here with Stowasser, but egos got in the way and now they have lost a customer and have gained that customer's bad word of mouth. We were looking for a good used second car. He showed us the Maxima 2020 and a 14 explore we drove both. We liked the maxima and said lets do it we will buy it. Great your sales man tells us as we walk inside and sit down at his cubicle he asks us for our drivers lic's and makes copies. He ask personal info etc. and leaves. Makes a second copy of lic.and comes back and says how serious our you about the car someone else wants it. I was stunned and said i thought you hear me say we will take it thats why we are sitting here. He hurries off and after about 10 minutes a another person comes back and says he is the sales Manager i think and says the car we wanted and had agreed on we could not have because some else had an appointment to buy it.I said excuse me then why was the car on the lot and the sales person allow us to drive it and make a deal? I am in sales also and if i have product promised i commit it so it will not be sold and is waiting for the customer, hence no confusion. I find it hard to beleave all of the above. If that car was pre sold or promised why was it on the lot? and why did your sales man tell us we could buy it..You have been in business for a while and i am sure have checks and balances to prevent this type of thing from happening. Your sales person spent quite a while telling us how great your company was and no under handed tricks. Hmmm...... so who ever the the second person was sales or finance manager was then proceed to say i understand you may be interested in a truck. Took my truck to get my transmission checked out because it was running hot. I didnt expect them to put 76 miles on it and leave it with the low fuel level on it when I picked it up. 76 miles seems excessive. I thought they were only going to check the fluids and scan my truck. If you're going to put that many miles on a vehicle and waste a 1/4 tank of gas, at least give me a courtesy call and ask before you do it. In the end the only answer I got was that a skid plate was causing my transmission to run too hot. They also put my skid plate back on the wrong way. If you're going to take things apart, at least put them back on the right way. I'd rather do it myself than have whichever mechanic redo it. I used to like this place cause they were courteous but things change. read more

Went here one time because we were looking for a vehicle. Although, Jake (sales consultant) was okay at first, things kind of took a sour turn when we were greeted by the manager. When the manager found out what our budget was, he insulted us by the number we had in mind. I'll give the manager some credit when he realized that we were offended by his comments and tried to take back what he said. When we finished speaking with the manager, the sales consultant guilt tripped us into purchasing a car by telling us that selling cars is what he needs to do to feed his family. What can I say, nothing but good cause my momma told me if I have nothing good to say, dont say it. Lol Well my wife's GMC Terrain had a check engine light come on, she called and made an appointment to take it in. Talked to Mike Shuffield. Next day check engine light off, so I call and talk to Mike. What can we do? He said to bring it in anyway and we'll see if a code has been stored. Ok cool. Next day wife took car in but guess what, yes! That dreaded check engine light came back on. Within an hour or so Mike called me told me what was up, he checked recalls to see if it was part of one, and unfortunately it was not. He mentioned oil change also since it was there, here is the funny part, my wife says the last oil change we had on car Mike worked for another place. How cool is it that we get our main guy back but now at Stowasser GMC. I know I'm happy as heck. He's always treated us right and has always gone UP and Beyond and again he did not disappoint here either. Car was ready a couple hours later and my wife was on her way. Not only did you not listen to what I wanted (non American made and of lesser or equal value than my current car) you made it apparent to hit on me. You even continued to make me uncomfortable after I made it clear that I was gay and not interested in boys. That conversation should have never been brought up in the first place. Before I went to Stowasser Buick GMC, I read the reviews about this dealership and was a little leary about dealing with them, but they had a 2014 Dodge Charger SE and that was exactly the car that I wanted, so I went to their dealership anyway, but in a very defensive mood. I was greeted by Rudy Correa, who said that he was the fleet sales manager. I am partially disabled, so Rudy went out on the lot and brought the 2014 Dodge Charger SE to me to inspect. I knew that this was the car for me and I told Rudy that I would buy it, but I could not go over a certain amount for my monthly car payments because I was on a fixed income. We sat at Rudy's desk while he worked out the monthly payments on his computer. After several tries, Rudy actually got my monthly payments below my expectations and I left Stowasser driving my new car. The financing part of the transaction went quickly and smoothly, as well. Looking back, I can say that Rudy Correa was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and non-pushy in his dealings with me. Horrible. My entire family was on the lot for at least 20 minutes, 3 boys in tow looking at a car we had seen on line. The car was filthy and not detailed at all. Surrounding cars were dusty and not 1 person came out to greet us or answer any questions about the vehicle. When we were exiting the lot to our car a couple of sales people positioned themselves to be able to shout out to us, "well do you have any questions?" "Just 1" I replied. "Why would you put a filthy car out on the lot like that?" The answer was," we are just trying to push all of the cars for the memorial holiday weekend. No big deal , it's just a clean and detail job." My thought, 1st impressions are lasting impressions. Way to represent your product and attitude of your company.
