Single carnations and roses are always sitting in buckets for patrons who want to choose their own. This florist also sells balloons and stuffed animals for any occasion. The little card and card fork that holds the card in with the flowers are free of charge. Parking can get tricky on holidays. The parking lot is in the back of the store off E Street, and there are only about eight parking spaces back there. I ordered online which means even though I live in San Bernardino the order goes to Fontana. I called the San Bernardino shop the next day to have it transferred and let know that my daughter goes to lunch at 11:30-12:30. Flowers delivered at 12:25 luckily she was there to receive them at the front office. She sent a picture (1st photo) which did not seem like the online photo. I have been a customer for years, they have been able to assist with my grandfathers and fathers service arrangements and many holiday arrangements. On Sunday 10/25 we were informed around 430pm, a dear friend on hospice, would briefly be able to have company, I got to Mullens at 5:02pm and seen the door was closed, I called and spoke to the woman working, explaining to her my situation and asking if they help me out. I had really high hopes for this place, but ended up extremely disappointed. I ordered a cascading bridal bouquet, maid of honor bouquet, 2 wristlet corsages, 3 single orchid boutonnières and 1 double flour boutonnière for my wedding. I provided printed pictures for each thing that I wanted. The boutonnières were nice. The maid of honor bouquet was..fine. The wristlets should have had two straps. It only had one. It was flopping everywhere. My bouquet was a mess. It was not like the picture. I was having a morning wedding and as soon as my maid of honor arrived with my flowers, I called the shop. The receptionist said the owner who made my bouquet was not there and he would call me back. About 10 minutes later, he calls and says that he thought it was extremely close. I mentioned that there was no baby's breath in the photos I provided, nor were there greens. My bouquet was FULL of them. He did apologize, but the damage was done. He asked if I wanted him to try to fix it. I only had an hour until my wedding and he said that it probably would be enough time. I decided not to risk it and just went with it. It felt as if they were trying to cut costs by using fillers. I was never complaining about the price, so I wish that I was charged more if it was an issue. There were nowhere near as many orchids as the picture. I was very disheartened since the two most important "decor" type items were my flowers and my cake. I thought my disappointment was where it would end, but I was wrong. When we went to take pictures, flowers kept falling out of the bouquet!!! All they used was a foam floral block and a plastic cage. They did not use wire or florists tape. On some of my first pictures a stem of unopened lilies fell out. A few pictures later TWO stems of orchids fell out. I tried to put the back, but it was hitting stems in their original holes. I was trying to place them differently, but it looked like flowers were moved around in the original placing and there were not new places to create holes in the foam. At another point, another stem of orchids fell and I didn't even catch where it happened. I was not rough with it at all. I kept it on the fridge on a shelf by itself before the wedding. I didn't dance with it. The twirl in the picture was going in slow-mo so the photographer could get a good picture. I am so disappointed. My mom recommended this place because she had her wedding bouquet made there 30 years ago. Things have changed. read more

We went here today to get some Mother's Day flowers. We were rung up by a girl named Esther. Rude, imperdonable, etc. She rung us up for the wrong items, gave us the wrong receipt. When we told another worker about our issue she blamed it on us and gave us attitude by waving her hand in the sort of motion you shoo a fly away. As if we bothered her by buying flowers??? The other worker who helped us was very nice and understanding, love her. Didn't get her name but she has short brown hair, working balloons. Only getting 3 because of the great worker. Certainly one of the most popular flower shops in San Bernardino. It's on the corner of E and Highland. There's a really good vibe there and the shop is nice and clean. It's one of the few places that keeps many flowers on hand so you may be able to get an idea first hand of what you're looking for. They keep an ample supply of spray roses weekly. They're also a really accessible place because they have long hours and are even open on Sunday. Plus, they have good prices. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! They screwed me over for the last time! I've been going to Mullen's Flowers for about 30 years now. I've been buying roses there for my wife, since we were in high school. I called on Tuesday to get a quote and they told me $30 for a dozen wrapped roses delivered, or $50 in a vase. I told the girl on the phone that I would need them delivered to my wife's office by noon on Friday for our anniversary. She told me it wouldn't be a problem and that I could place the order as late as Friday morning. It's Thursday afternoon now and I just left the shop without accomplishing anything. I tried to buy the roses at $30, like I was promised. The girl at the counter, Chela, wouldn't honor the quote and wanted to charge me an extra $20. She tried to play dumb, like she didn't know who was working on Tuesday. I took it a step further and asked to talk with the owner. She put Mr. Mullen on the phone and he didn't want to honor the quote. I informed him that I am a long time, loyal customer, but he didn't seem to care. Even if I was willing to pay the ridiculous price that he was asking, he still wouldn't guarantee delivery by noon on Friday. No wonder these small businesses are going under. Do yourself a favor and order online with one of the big flower companies. At least they will honor their policies and take care of it on the back end if you're not satisfied. I will never spend another dollar at Mullen's Flowers. I hope they go out of business! Cheers! UPDATE - On Friday, I went over to the little "flower shop" inside Stater Bros. The girl picked out a dozen beautiful long stem red roses and carefully wrapped them up real nice. It only cost me $20 and a friend delivered them. Worse Flower shop ever!!!!!! I placed an order online for our anniversary. It was 5 o'clock, and she still hasn't got them. I called the store, they have no knowledge of my order what so ever. I gave a reference number, nothing, confirmation number.....nothing.The next day, they call and left a message, asking me to call. They want to know if its ok to change the order because they don't have the flowers in stock. Luckily I have a wife with a since of humor and found this more funny than upsetting. Was very disappointed in the flowers that I purchased via Teleflora online flower delivery. What I ordered looked nothing like what my mom received. So disappointed in the product delivered. NOTHING like what the website depicts. I thought I was purchasing a LARGE, upgraded (which I selected, and paid for) vase of long stem roses. What I received was a small rosebud vase that I can literally hold with one hand. They were so tiny and closed. NOT worth it at all. Waste of money, honestly. Highly recommendable with great service! Used them online from Texas to surprise my girlfriend for Valentines. When I ordered online, there was no availability for valentines day delivery. This was 2 days prior to valentines and I suppose that was due to high volume. So I called the flower shop and was told to simply add the date that I wanted delivery under the "Special Requests" tab and the explained the situation with loads of people buying from the flower shop and requesting delivery service. She assured me that she'd help me out and make it possible and that alternatively she'd go deliver the roses herself re-affirming that everything would be fine for delivery. Later to find out that the same lady I spoke with over the phone was the same one who made the delivery with an amiable personality. This flower shop went above and beyond to fulfill my experience and I highly recommend them. I had previously called other flower shops which had no time to talk to me over the phone and prices were practically double. read more

Extremely Disappointed!!! I went in on Thursday to send my wife some flowers on Friday-plenty of notice. Well, my wife gets out of work at 4 and it is 3:20, still haven't heard from Mullens. I called to inquire and they said they would be there in 15 minutes. I said how disappointed I was that she has to get flowers while she was on her way out and the "Manager" Owners wife, said, well it isn't 4. The card says she gets out at 4. I said I know her work hours but I went in the day before so she can have them all day, not on her way out. I told her how disappointed I was and she didn't care. She said, "You can shop for flowers where you want to shop and I will run my business how I want to run my business." Mullen = Lack of Courtesy, Lack of Professionalism and a Lack of caring for their customers. I am extremely disappointed with her attitude, her response and will not spend another penny with this Mullens on the corner of E street and Highland. My $100+ dozen of roses delivery would be more appreciated elsewhere and will be delivered in a timely manner. This place does not care about their customers. I was not rude at all however the owner was extremely rude to me, she just does not care. If you pay for delivery service, you expect your order to arrive at the time agreed upon. Delivery was to be made by 3:30 p.m. prior to a funeral visitation that began at 4 p.m. I was told by the florist that delivery would be made at 2:30 p.m. When we arrived at the visitation prior to 4 p.m., the three orders of flowers ($400+ spent on the flowers), were not yet delivered. I waited until 4 p.m. and then contacted the flower shop. I was told that the driver was at the mortuary and the flowers would be there. It wasn't until around 4:20 p.m. that the flowers were actually delivered during the visitation. To make matters worse, the terms of endearment we asked to be placed on the ribbons of the flower arrangements were unreadable. Rather than use stick on letters that florist companies use on ribbons, this florist appeared to use glue and sprinkle glitter onto the ribbon. This made the sentiments hard to read and unnoticeable. read more
