Haven't tried the food here, but the drinks are good. They have Aperol Spritz's for $12 and certain shots for $5, like the cherry-limeade shot. They have two pool tables upstairs which are not in the best condition. They also have a coin exchange machine so that's nice. Tables are a dollar each. Overall ambiance is pretty chill. It does get busy at night though. read more

I went here two nights in a row on a busy ski week. The first night was pleasant and the food was not bad. The second night I had to wait 30+ mins just to close out my tab due to the bar being busy but also due to the fact that the bartender was preferring to serve the attractive girls standing at the bar and not me. It took me standing at the front of the bar for 20 mins for me to finally say all I needed to do was close out so I could receive my card for the bartender to reply with "most important guy in the bar right here." While I should have been embarrassed for him calling me out, I was mostly just fed up and ready to leave the awful service they present (old guy with the grey beard). I loved Copper Mountain ski resort but the service here is not good at all. read more

Just came here and the scrawny, condescending 2 inch weenie bartender with a man-bun was a total dick. I cancelled my food order and left. My husband and I got Irish car bombs since we were at an Irish pub (which btw he didn't even make correctly) and I accidentally knocked over my husband's 5 ounce beer to go with it and when we asked if it could be replaced the little dude said "that's on you". Talk about horrible customer service. Trash place. Come here if you want crappy customer service and even worse drinks. read more

I've been coming to this place for years and I have a nice time, every time. I finally decided to leave a review because I noticed they're getting lots of outrageous flack. This is a pub staffed by locals, for locals. The staff are super chill and they will reflect the energy you give. Be kind and patient, and they'll be kind and patient back. Be rude, and expect to get called out for it. Just treat the staff like human beings and they'll do the same to you, which is how it ought to be. Plus, if you ever go to a pub in Ireland, you'll find the exact same type of attitude. The food quality varies - sometimes it's delicious and sometimes it's not, but you go to a pub to drink beer and be merry, not for a 5 star meal. Stop complaining and just be happy that people who live and work in ski towns put up with all you snow bunnies, influencers, WASPs, and rich entitled suburbanites! Just chill out and go with the vibe, we don't owe you anything for making our mountain towns overpriced and underhoused! If you walk into a local bar, don't get mad when you get kicked out or yelled at for being a demanding POS tourist. Max, the "bartender", was blatantly rude because I ordered something harder to make than a beer, but apparently this is acceptable because it's a "locals" bar. I think Max absolutely hates his job, and then made me feel like that was my fault. I was 1 of only 3 customers in the whole place, and now I know why. Everyone else was at bars with a better vibe. My partner and I arrived at this restaurant Saturday night after a day of skiing. We wanted to grab a bite to eat before we vegetated the rest of the night after a busy day. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and my partner got a glass of Guinness as well as the fish and chips. The food took a long time to arrive. Everyone else who had ordered their food later received it in a reasonable time whereas we waited for over half an hour. Only when the bartender happened to make eye contact with my partner, did we finally get our food. The food is disappointing and close to inedible. We were not expecting any fine delicacy, just food that is remotely decent. The food was far worse than any frozen food that was defrosted. The buffalo chicken sandwich had no tomatoes, veggies or anything aside from a small slice of cheese and pieces of sliced chicken nuggets. The fish and chips had no chips and the fish was so burnt. In hindsight, we should have sent it back, asked for a refund and went elsewhere. The restaurant is also extremely sticky and dirty. With COVID, I would have expected the place to be a bit cleaner. Do not come to this place, go elsewhere! Wish we had gone to the mexican place instead. read more

Service wasn't exceptional, they were expensive drinks to begin with, and we had already been there the night before, and tipped well. After reading other reviews it seems this place is quite scammy. Beautiful young lady behind the bar poured me a lovely pint, established engaging conversation, and catered to each and every demand and that crossed my lips. TERRIBLE SERVICE! BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU COME HERE! They don't have a computer system for ordering drinks, so everything is hand written. I only ordered 1 drink while I was there, but when I tried to close my tab they showed me a piece of paper with 2 drinks hand written on there. I was obviously confused and tried to ask what the 2 drinks were. The bartender rudely replied "whatever 2 drinks you ordered" then turned away, printed me an *unitemized* receipt and quickly moved on to someone else despite my objections. WTH!? Why is the service so obnoxious? We felt like we were invading or annoying the 2 bartenders standing behind the bar doing nothing. No wonder why there was only 3 people in the bar. The bartender didnt even have a clue where the owners where and made a joke when I asked if they were from Chicago, since there was Chicago decor everywhere. Threatened and insulted. Cool atmosphere. Met some genuinely good patrons. I spent about $80 here in drinks. 3/4 of the bar staff was amazing. The 1/4 of the bar staff was SUPER unprofessional and rude. He accidentally charged me $7-10 dollars over(not a big deal UNTIL)-- I politely addressed the problem because it's an easy fix, bartender immediately INSULTED me!!! I asked for my money back for the mischarge they put on my card. He refused and poured me a shot. After I said 4 times "I WANT MY MISCHARGED MONEY" he wouldn't do it. Not to mention his tiny pupils. He basically forced me to take the extra shot instead of apologizing for my inconvenience and refunding me. Multiple friends who were at the bar earlier agreed with me so I reviewed. and I ended up paying extra for a drink I didn't buy and insulted. I will be contacting management about this. I DO NOT recommend. Had to call 5 times to try to report a complaint because I was verbally insulted. I was hung up on every time. "Bar shift manager" refused to tell me my servers name and confirmed that the bartender was giving me more expensive prices on my second tab. NO PLACE BETTER TO WATCH PONDSIDE HOCKEY The quaint Center Village pond is where my three teenage nephews would burn off the last of their abundant energy playing 2 or more hours of night time pickup hockey (after shredding the double black diamond bowls during the day). The floor length windows at Mulligan's are unequalled to watch all the action, see pics. "OPENING HOURS ARE WHEN WE GET HERE" VIBE that attracts local skiers, instructors and some seasonal visitors to this back street sports pub. Where else in Copper can little kids play multi level pinball, adults beer pong and an entire bar moan every time the Buffalos get intercepted at the Alamo Bowl. read more

Was a normal, nice Irish bar experience until we noticed the naked Barbie doll hanging from a noose with her mouth and feet duct taped. Talked to the bartender, mentioned he might not have noticed the paraphernalia hanging from the ceiling that was offensive to women (and all) patrons, but he completely dismissed me and walked away with a smirk on his face. I don't usually write reviews but I have to share this experience. I am visiting Copper and I was walking down the street talking on my phone and I slipped and fell in front of this bar. It was so icy and I didn't see it coming. The bartender, Brian, came out of the bar and helped me up. I bruised my ass, but he gave me a shot of tequila and reminded me that there are true gentlemen in this world. Nice place and great service. Highly recommend. Avoid this place at all costs. Went there at 6pm on Saturday night with my three kids and wife. My 2 year old son slightly walked behind the bar and the bar tender said "I kick dogs that come back behind here, your kid has one more chance!". During our beers and appetizers I went to use the men's restroom. Restroom is disgusting. Massive crap diarrhea all over the floor, toilet and walls, dried on, been there for days. Disgusting! Clearly hadn't been cleaned since the night before. So all patrons were basically walking in crap and carrying it all over the restaurant on their shoes. No soap in the men's room either. Douche Bag bartender. Here during warrior dash with my friends and family. My wife is in a wheelchair. The bar has nothing but high tops minus the beer pong table. Asked the Bartender if we could use the the lower table and instead if trying to find a solution he states "well if someone wants to play you'll have to move". Went there for dinner and the food was average bar food. I commend the cook, as he was cooking the food and running it out to the tables. The bartender on the other hand, seemed to be more interested in his game of jenga with someone at the bar. After showing my ID and ordering my drink, 5 jenga moves later and about 10 minutes later and still no drink, I decided to leave. With about 20-25 people there, this shouldn't have been an issue, but I suppose the bartenders interests were elsewhere. I won't waste my time here next time I'm back in Copper. read more
