Mulligans has been our most recent discovery! we simply loved it! **NOTE** They are only open at 12 pm to 5pm. pretty nice selections of whisky's and other alcohols. I had their Gimlet Cooler it was so good and my partner had a jack and coke. reasonably priced for a bar in a theme park. you can leave with your drink to your next ride attraction which was a nice perk! The place looks good, since we arrived no greeting at all from the attendant, we ask for a drink description and he was giving us the info very vague, he was not excited at all, like if he didn't want to be there, the drink was OK nothing spectacular, custom service is all when you visit a place. I was excited to yry the Irish goodbye but it wasn't a big deal. The environment around is fantastic because of the amusement park. It would be nice if this pub could alight with the cheerful spirit. And to end the experience, I tip not a lot of course and the guy looked at the amount and rolled his eyes, making and expression that makes me regret about giving anything for tip. read more

Located near secret Pets and the Despicible Me ride. When your foot hits the sticky wooden floor, you know you've arrived at Mulligan's Pub. I finally got to try a drink here, after several attempts where they were closed. They have a nice selection of whiskeys, bourbons and scotch, as well as craft beers on tap. We decided to try the Guinness old-fashioned for $15, which uses old Forester bourbon and topped with a splash of Guinness beer. The bartender was generous with the poor too which was awesome. We got our drinks and peeled out of there. Definitely returning in the future! read more

Great looking, though small, spot to grab a beer or drink near the Despicable Me and Secret Life of Pets rides. Looks like an authentic Irish pub, which was a nice touch. Drinks come in plastic cups, with the intention of you taking it to go, which is quite nice. However, it's also nice to take a few minutes to sit down, enjoy your drink, and, in our case, watch a few minutes of football. They have a wide selection of liquor, though no mezcal sadly. They had some intriguing-sounding hot holiday drinks, but they were pre-batched, so I didn't order any, as I knew they would be more sweet than I would want. If you want to start your day right, then look no more. This spot offers a fully stocked bar with a handful of draft handles. Whether you are looking for a draft beer, shot, and/or specialty cocktail, Mulligan's Pub has you covered like a jacket! They also have a board with specialty drinks listed and they also have not-so-secrete off-the-menu drinks that you can ask about. Mine is the Jurassic water. The visual looks nice on the drink and it is even better when you drink it. It is a strong drink so be advised! They also have snacks available for purchase in case you have the munchies. The seating inside is very limited as this spot is very compact and ideally would be a grab and go drink area. I heard about this place because of the secret drink they have called Jurassic Waters. This drink is basically like a Long Island but with raspberry liqueur on the bottom and midori. It is suppose to look ominous like there is blood in the blue green waters. There are other drinks you can order based on other universal movies if you look into them. Such as: Frankenstein's revival, Dracula's addiction, Pitch perfect martini, creature of the blue lagoon, amity island mai tai, fast and the fiery. Mulligan's is a fully stocked pub in a great location on the upper lot by the the Despicable Me ride. Our party of 4 stopped in on a hot Sunday (LDW) afternoon to get our drinks on... When we walked in there was only about 3 patrons in there ordering drinks with us. Some were trying the signature cocktails of the bar and other were just ordering draft beer. It took about 15 minutes before they got to us as no one was really working with a sense of urgency. Because of this, 6 more patrons were behind me and officially there's a line. By the time I finish my first drink, the crowd subsided and I'm ready to hit the second one and there were only 2 patrons in front of me. They downshifted their speed and it took 15 minutes to get the 2nd drink. lol Thoroughly confused on the lack of urgency because they could have turned over so many covers during my short visit with my group of friends. The cocktails were made well and the bar is nicely decorated with the an Irish Pub theme. The prices are high just like everything else you purchase in Universal. There's seating at a long counter to take a break and people watch through the windows. If you're reading this at the pub, I hope you have better luck with the bartenders. Was overlooked for 3 other people and was made to pay for my drink before he even made it. Then while he was making it, he had a whole sad stop and start convo with his co-worker. There are a few themed bars are the park and they are all fun. We try to grab a drink at Mulligan's every visit we can though. They have a good variety of drinks and beer, a few snacks (like chips and nuts) and a menu of specialty Irish themed drinks. The cucumber cooler is refreshing on a hot day (cucumber vodka, lime juice, simple syrup, and soda water). The Jurassic Waters is no longer on the menu but we saw plenty of people ordering them (basically a variety of a long island iced tea with Chambord and Midori) it is good. My new favorite is the Three Olives Citrus vodka and club soda, light and refreshing yet full of flavor. Staff is nice and they make great drinks. Theme park prices so an average drink can run you $11 (for a single vodka club soda) to $27 (for a double depending on what you get). Just keep that in mind when buying. Overall though nice people, good drinks and you can sit and watch the minions take pics as you sip and relax. read more

The smallest pub in Universal and honestly one of the least themepark-y places here. Yeah once again the prices are out the yang but the drinks are clever and filled with a shit ton of alcohol. Basically come here to get hammered. We split a Jurassic Water which is blue curaçao and more stuff but I forgot. It's sweet and you cannot taste the alcohol. They also have other movie inspired cocktails that I'm sure are equally delicious. They have a TV playing actual TV shows. I think the Steve Harvey something was playing and the bartender shot the shit with us for a few minutes. Came in to grab a Jurassic Water before a Studio Tour night tour and wow. Great, friendly, quick service. The drink itself was worth the $16, very tasty and on the stronger end of drinks in the park. One of the ways that Universal beats Disney is with drinks! There are alcoholic beverages served throughout the park. This bar is located right by the Despicable Me ride. You can either sit at the bar and have a drink and/or you can take one to go! The prices here aren't too bad considering the fact that it's inside an amusement park. Last time I was here, I had a drink at the bar and then took a margarita slushy with me to go. The slushy was sooooo good. I'm getting one next time I come for sure!! Went here for first time to grab some drinks with fam. I tried their strawberry & lemon-lime margaritas and they were really fruity and tasted pretty good. It was pricey, about $10 per drink. One thing I did like is that the drinks came in their own universal studios souvenir cup that you can take home. This is the only bar you will find on the Universal Studios lot. It is a full bar and has 2 TVs that play sporting events. It is located next to the new minion ride and there are restrooms located conveniently nearby. The people are pretty nice, drinks are strong and it is still fairly undiscovered yet. You can usually find a seat, if not there are plenty of seats outside. It's a great place to grab drinks, some potato chips and take quick glance at the scores of the games before heading on a ride. read more

Season ticket holder at Universal & there just about weekly. Had been disappointed the past couple times because Mulligan's wasn't open but it was this time & it was great! First of all, they offer more than just your basic water beers on tap. They have awesome beers like Goose Island and Golden Road as well! I decided to bypass a beer & try one of the many mixed drinks they offer. I went with the Jurassic Water which is vodka, rum, tequila, gin, blue curaçao, melon liqueur, raspberry liqueur, sweet & sour, and club soda. Sound pretty crazy? It does! However it actually tasted pretty damn great despite the vast array of different alcohol in it. Would definitely recommend it, and after just 1 had a slight buzz going that made every ride there even more fun than usual! Prices may be high but it's what you'd expect for a theme park so you can't be too shocked! Plus you can walk around the whole park with your drink which is always a great feeling. read more
