Brews Brothers really knows how to throw a party. We stopped by for their 5th anniversary and it reminded me why I keep coming back. The location has plenty of parking and such a great vibe. With all the distillers upstairs and downstairs, the whole place pulls you into the experience the second you walk in. The food is honestly some of the best bar food I've ever had. This is bistro food, not your typical chicken fingers and frozen appetizers. The menu is always changing, which keeps things exciting, and everything feels like it was actually thought through. Service is what makes this place stand out even more. The owners genuinely care about the community. They're constantly popping in, saying hi, checking on guests, and making sure the food is coming out at its best. You can tell they're invested in the experience, not just the business. The ambience is awesome. Great energy, great crowd, and a beer selection that keeps me happy every time. I'm a huge sour beer guy and it's almost impossible to find bars with a solid sour selection, but they always have multiple options on tap, including some they brew themselves. I stopped by yesterday and I walked in to the place not crowded, so that's always a plus in my books. I waited to be seated and was sat nearby the bar. It appeared that most of the tables were reserved for a big party. They have bar codes to scan the beer menu and also "physical"menus. I decided to try one of their beers; IPA "fresh outta the strata-sphere" @ 6.5% Fresh Hop IPA Brewed w/Strata Hops Straight From The Hop Farm & A Touch Of Mosaic Cryo I ended up getting a second round later. 5/5 And for food I ordered their fried pickles and tuna melt combo which came with fries. My fried pickles were delicious and the chipotle dressing was top notch combined. I asked for another chipotle dip since their dip servings are quite small. 5/5 Then the tuna melt, I've had it at their NoHo location, so I was excited to get it again. I felt like this time around, it lacked tuna spread, felt a bit skinny to my likings. The fries were cooked perfect, not overly oily and retained their texture. 4/5 Staff was attentive otherwise, checking in on me while multitasking others orders. Seating is available inside and outside as well. Also, this location has an upstairs area but it was closed when I was there. Compared to the NoHo location, this one is bigger and fits more people. This is absolutely one of our favorite places to go. The brothers (yes, they are actual brothers) brew their own beer which is delicious! This Location has a full bar as well, and they always have ciders to choose from too. The food is amazing. Our go tos are the naughty pig fries, the finding neo sandwich, and anything with their brisket! The service is always great! They have a great happy hour as well- Get there before 6 to enjoy that. Brews Brothers was a mixed experience for us. Right from the start, things felt a bit off, we had to wait to be seated even though the restaurant was nearly empty, and service throughout was on the slower side. The food had some highs and lows. The grilled cheese bites weren't what we expected at all, just a regular grilled cheese sandwich cut into small pieces and served with salsa. That said, the salsa was amazing and honestly saved the dish by adding much-needed flavor to an otherwise bland (though very cheesy) sandwich. The goat cheese salad was disappointing. It was overdressed to the point of soggy lettuce, and the portion felt pretty small for the price. On the brighter side, the garlic fries that came with the buffalo chicken wrap were incredible, full cloves of garlic and really bold flavor. Definitely the standout of the meal. The wrap itself was just okay: decent taste, but small and not particularly appetizing in presentation. Drinks were a win across the board. I've driven by this place so many times and never really thought much of it. But yesterday, I had a craving for a burger and some bar food/appetizers and this spot came highly recommended. Dare I say the Bavarian pretzel was probably the best one I've ever had! It was piping hot, fluffy, and had delicious dipping sauces. I also got the brie and bacon jam burger, which was flavorful and cooked perfectly. My husband got the western burger and enjoyed it. We both liked the fries. Crispy outside, fluffy inside. My husband got a flight of beer. I'm not sure which ones he got, but he really enjoyed 3 and didn't even try to drink the 4th one, whatever it was. The Chislic & Fries were amazing. Whole cloves of garlic confit on top of fries with sirloin and chimichurri? Sign me up every time. The pork sandwich was also amazing as well; braised pork on a toasted baguette with a house-made sauce and pickled red onion? Yes. First time here. Love how they have their own parking lot but it's relatively small and fills up quick. There's also street parking but you may have to walk. Pretty cool interior and a loud vibe. They have a lot of items that are more on the pricier side. I tried the Darkest Hour. Pretty good stout although it was served in a small glass. Or it looked that way to me. Matched well with the El macho burger (medium well). The burger was cooked well but overall it tasted like a regular burger with some jalapeños thrown in. I was really looking forward to it but it wasn't anything special. It came with fries which were cooked nicely. Staff seemed pretty cool. You don't really have a designated server it seems. We had a few people help us out. You just need to flag someone which is fine. We got the check and apparently a party of 6 is a large group. So there was an auto gratuity added to our check. We came here on a Wednesday night and had a couple of beers and shared three tacos and a tuna steak burger with fries which were all good. We also brought our laptops to do some work and oddly enough, the tables were just perfect for us to do that. Our go-to when we lived in Burbank. The staff is incredible and the selection is amazing. I'm not a huge beer drinker, so I was pleasantly surprised when they had more than one cider option at all times. We were in Burbank for a funeral and wanted to stop by a brewery to unwind after a heavy morning. We love trying new beers and are not from the area so we decided to give this place a try since it was the closest to where we were. We arrived around 1:30pm on a Saturday and there was plenty of parking and it was not too packed which made it even more relaxing. We ordered the chislic and fries which we had never heard of along with their garlic aioli and cilantro lime sauces. At first we wondered why the sauces were fifty cents but once we tried them we were blown away and honestly would have paid a dollar. The food was amazing. The meat was tender and the sauces really elevated it. The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. I ordered the Butt Chin and I think my boyfriend got the lager. Both beers were really flavorful and well balanced. Overall the service was friendly, the vibes were great and the food and drinks were excellent. I am a little sad we do not live closer. This night, they had a huge association meeting (easily 80 ppl, probably more) in the bar area and it was nuts. We'd reserved a table and hostess/server took 10 minutes to get us and take us to our table. They were severely understaffed for the numbers they had. As we waited to order, we were thinking of leaving to find another place, but the hour had us nervous we wouldn't get somewhere before they closed. I came here for a Puzzled Pint event. This time, I chose to sit outside because the inside had really bad lighting to do puzzles. Dont get me wrong, it is nice and air conditioned, but it would have been tough for me to read puzzles inside. We ordered the pretzel, tuna melt, a chicken sandwich (it got messy), and a drink. LOVE the beer cheese that came with the pretzel! Tuna melt was great, but sometimes hard to eat around the corners because it was extremely "burnt/too toasted" hard to bite down. My sister recommended Brews Brothers to me when I asked for a brewery recommendation for a drink. We were seated promptly at a high table in the brewery's simple yet relaxed décor. Our table was located near barrels, adding a nice touch. Our server, Luke, was friendly and promptly brought us menus and water. Since we had already had dinner elsewhere, we were only there for drinks. My husband opted for a beer flight, and Luke was great, recommending beers based on my husband's taste preferences. I, on the other hand, chose a margarita called Endless Summer. It was a perfect drink; the mezcal was a bit strong, but it was still delicious. They had a nice selection of beers and good happy hour menu items which unfortunately are not available in the regular menu and only run until 6pm. They have a kids menu which is only available to kids but you can order for an adult from there and will be charged as such - unfair IMO. While visiting Universal studios we decided to stop in this brewery down the street from the hotel. Daniel the supervisor of the bar allowed us to create our own flight of beers. There's so many beers I had to stop at just four. This family owned brewery owns 3 breweries in the surrounding area. They support other local family owned produce and meat businesses. The other patrons and my table surly can see why this establishment does well. They offer a wide variety of lunch and dinner selections. Too bad we came to late for happy hour because the pickings were too good to pass up. Any visitors to Burbank and Universal Studios stop by and see Daniel for a taste. Scrapped 1/2 rack ribs- I hav e a severe allergy to black peppercorn, which was not told to me the ribs were crusted in black peppercorn. Thankfully I had an epi pen on me. However at no time did the server offer to make it right or another dish. Instead shrugged and said you didn't tell me you were allergic to black peppercorn- first bite I immediately knew and let him know. I ended up having to scrap everything and try to eat a bit. I'm hypoglycemic and needed to eat. The coleslaw was super spicy and the fries were cold and taste stale. I let him know and again just shrugged and said sorry about that. Later came back to say since it wasn't to your liking I spoke to my manager and was able to discount your meal.. such a foul experience. This is one of those places my husband and I had been meaning to try for so long. It just looks cool. I'm so glad we finally went in because WOW! The food was amazing. The fried pickles were the best I've ever had and the Aztec salad was so good--they mean it when they say it's spicy! Several vegetarian and even vegan options here. Cooked perfectly and all the flavors were well balanced. Second time: the Korean pulled pork sandwich (limited time only at the time) Epic! This will probably be the most confusing review I write but my hope is that it's warranted. While this place had a very lovely atmosphere, the food was pretty terrible. I ordered their classic burger and after waiting 40 minutes due to a slammed kitchen, one bite in I realized it was super burnt and tasted of charcoal. I tried my partners brisket sandwich and it was obnoxiously sweet, unenjoyable as well. Based on all of that, I would give a 1 star, but our waiter was about the friendiest and chillest guy I've had the pleasure of meeting, and if a place has a good sense to hire someone like that maybe I'll give them a second chance someday. I've had consistent great experiences here: fantastic service, great food & wonderful beer. Whenever the boy and I go out, any of their three places are on our list of "hey, we can go to Brews Brothers", always.
